Poznavanje vertikalne distribucije semena korovskih bilajka u poljoprivrednom zemljištu ima veliki značaj za očuvanje biodiverziteta i stabilnosti ekosistema, kao i pri izboru i pomoći u razvoju uspešne strategije suzbijanja korova. U radu su prikazana novija saznanja efekta primene plodoreda, obrade zemljišta i sistema đubrenja na rezerve semena korovskih biljaka u zemljištu. Odabirom adekvatnih mera i metoda moguće je proceniti rezerve semena korovskih biljaka u poljoprivrednom zemljištu i spram klimatskih i zemljišnjih uslova dati prognozu zakorovljenosti u budućem periodu.
Knowing the vertical distribution weed seed in arable land is of great importance for preserving biodiversity and stability of the ecosystem, as well as in selecting and assisting in the development of a successful weed control strategy. This work presents recent findings of the effects of the application of crop rotations, tillage and fertilization system on the weed seed bank in the soil. By selecting adequate measures and methods, it is possible to estimate the weed seed bank in arable land and to give a forecast of the decay in the future period in relation to climate and soil conditions.
