AB  - Lan (Linum usitatissimum L.) se gaji za proizvodnju: vlakna (predivi lan) i semena (uljani lan). Laneno ulje ima veliku primenu u prehrambenoj i hemijskoj industriji ali i u medicini. Za gajenje uljanog lana najbolja su plodna i vlažna zemljišta, čista od korova. Institut za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, ima dve nove sorte uljanog lana stvorene 2017. i 2019.: „NS Primus” i „NS Marko”. U ovoj studiji testirana je sorta „NS Primus”, na černozemu. Sorta „NS Primus” je pokazala odlične performanse i visok prinos semena.
AB  - Flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) is grown for the production of: fibers (fiber flax) and seeds (oil flax). Flax oil is widely used in the food and chemical industries, but also in medicine. For the cultivation of flax oil are the best fertile and moist soils, clean of weeds. The Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops has two new varieties of oil flax created in 2017 and 2019: „NS Primus” and „NS Marko”. In this study, the variety „NS Primus” was tested on chernozem. The „NS Primus” variety showed excellent performance and high seed yield.

AB  - Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad, Serbia has an 80-year long tradition in plant breeding and seed production. The Institute’s basic activities include scientific research, extension services, and production of the basic categories of its own seed. It is a well-developed chain from the basic science, through breeding and seed production, to seed market and farmers. With over 100 researchers, the Institute is one of the largest institutions of its kind in southeast Europe. Its fundamental and applied
research are primarily focused on the development of the high-yielding field and vegetable crop cultivars, including forage and industrial crops, medicinal plants and spice herbs tolerant to major diseases and resistant to unfavourable biotic and non-biotic factors. The Institute has a well-developed international scientific cooperation, and it participates in various international and bilateral projects. In addition to research, the Institute develops its commercial sector and thereby functions both as a research
institute and a seed company. The Institute has created a new seed brand 'NS seme', which has already become a synonym for high quality and high yield. Over 1000 cultivars of field and vegetable crops have been developed at the Institute so far. Of that number, almost 500 have been registered and commercially grown abroad. The institute's cultivars compete for their place at seed markets of 26 countries, from Argentina, through EU countries, Ukraine and Russia, to China and India.

abstract = "Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad, Serbia has an 80-year long tradition in plant breeding and seed production. The Institute’s basic activities include scientific research, extension services, and production of the basic categories of its own seed. It is a well-developed chain from the basic science, through breeding and seed production, to seed market and farmers. With over 100 researchers, the Institute is one of the largest institutions of its kind in southeast Europe. Its fundamental and applied
research are primarily focused on the development of the high-yielding field and vegetable crop cultivars, including forage and industrial crops, medicinal plants and spice herbs tolerant to major diseases and resistant to unfavourable biotic and non-biotic factors. The Institute has a well-developed international scientific cooperation, and it participates in various international and bilateral projects. In addition to research, the Institute develops its commercial sector and thereby functions both as a research
institute and a seed company. The Institute has created a new seed brand 'NS seme', which has already become a synonym for high quality and high yield. Over 1000 cultivars of field and vegetable crops have been developed at the Institute so far. Of that number, almost 500 have been registered and commercially grown abroad. The institute's cultivars compete for their place at seed markets of 26 countries, from Argentina, through EU countries, Ukraine and Russia, to China and India.",

AB  - A takarmányborsó (Pisum sativum L. var. arvense Poir.) a diverzitás közel-keleti és mediterráni központjából származik, ahonnan nagyon gyorsan elterjedt a világon, különösen Európában, Észak-Afrikában és Közép-Ázsiában. A takarmányborsó ugyanakkor egyike az első háziasított növényfajtáknak, amiről a mintegy 10.000 éves szíriai régészeti leleltek is tanúskodnak. Az utolsó jégkorszakot követően a lencsével, a lóbabbal és néhány kalászos gabonafajtával együtt a borsó az egyik legrégebbi haszonnövény Európában. A takarmányborsót, a növény hasznosítási részétől függően, takarmány- és protein-borsóba sorolhatjuk. A takarmányborsó föld feletti buja zöld tömegével, biomasszájával tűnik ki, amit teljes virágzásban és az első hüvelyek megjelenésének szakaszában kaszálnak, s a növény teljes föld feletti része felhasználásra kerül. A takarmányborsó tiszta vetésben termeszthető, vagy gyakrabban támasznövénnyel (kalászos gabonával) keverve. A protein-borsó ismert mint száraz szemtermésként felhasználható borsó, melyet kizárólag fehérjékben gazdag érett magjáért tiszta vetésben termesztenek.

AB  - Growing annual legumes such as pea (Pisum sativum L.) and vetches (Vicia spp.) in mixtures with cereals is one of the most traditional ways of both forage and grain production in many temperate climates in Europe, Asia Minor and Near and Central East. This practice is considered beneficial kind of intercropping may serve for both forage and grain production. In Serbia and other Balkan countries, intercropping annual legumes with cereals is rather widespread and is extensively used for producing quality and protein-rich forage in feeding dairy cows and other ruminants. In a small-plot trial, carried out during the trials years of 2010, 2011 and 2012, there were included the intercrops of three spring-sown cereals, namely common wheat (Triticum aestivum L. subsp. aestivum), barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and oat (Avena sativa L.), six spring-sown annual legumes, such as pea, common vetch (V. sativa L.), Narbonne vetch (V. narbonensis L.), faba bean (V.faba L.), grass pea (Lathyrus sativus L.) and white lupin (Lupinus albus L.), and the sole crops of each intercrop component. Each intercrop was sown at a rate of 75%n of a legume and 25% of a cereal in comparison to the sowing rates in their sole crops.
