AB  - Alternative plant cultures with favorable agronomic characteristics are a great source of refined edible oil and renewable industrial oil products. False flax stands out as a species with modest growing requirements, short vegetation and diverse use. Accordingly, the breeding program of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad created two cultivars of false flax, NS Zlatka and NS Slatka, which were the research material of this study. The use and production value of these false flax cultivars were determined by examining important seed quality characteristics: oil content, oil yield, protein content and protein yield. The highest oil content was obtained in NS Slatka (45.90%) in 2016, while the highest protein content was 30.30%. The highest oil yield (801 kg/ha in 2017) and the highest protein yield (424 kg/ha in 2017) were detected in NS Zlatka. The data obtained from the field and laboratory were analyzed by analysis of variance, Duncan test and Spearman's correlation coefficient. Statistically significant differences were identified between the cultivars, and strong environmental influence was affirmed. By examining the correlations of the analyzed features, statistically significant correlations were found. The most common fatty acids included linolenic acid (33.80%), linoleic acid (18.81%), oleic acid (15.99%), eicosenoic acid (14.22%) and erucic acid (2.90%). The results obtained are applicable in further breeding program of false flax. They are of special importance in increasing the use value of false flax owing to the oil and meal high quality and potential for even more diverse use.

AB  - U Odeljenju za soju, Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo iz Novog Sada do sada je registrovano 166 NS sorte soje, različitih grupa zrenja. Cilj ovoga rada je sagledavanje prinosa, sadržaja proteina i ulja, kao i prinosa proteina i ulja po jedinici površine, najnovijih NS sorti soje priznatih u 2022 godini. U dvogodišnjim ogledima Ministarstva poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede, na pet lokaliteta, najviši prinos imala je sorta soje NS Westeros (4.321 kg ha-1). Najviši sadržaj proteina imala je sorta NS Aragonit (41,1%), dok je najviši sadržaj ulja zabeležen kod sorti NS Feba (21,9%) i NS Coral (21,6%).
AB  - The Department of soybean, Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad has so far registered 166 NS soybean cultivars of different maturity groups. The aim of this study is to assess the yield, protein and oil content, as well as protein and oil yield per unit area, the latest NS varieties registered in 2022. In the two-year trials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, at five locations, the highest yield had late soybean NS Westeros (4.321 kg ha-1). The highest protein content was early variety NS Aragonit (41.1%), while the highest oil content was recorded in varieties NS Feba (21.9%) and NS Coral (21.6%).

AB  - Lanik je uljana biljna vrsta koja daje rentabilne prinose, čak i u nepovoljnijim uslovima za gajenje. Bolje podnosi sušu u odnosu na većinu drugih uljarica. Sa visokim prinosom ulja jedinstvenog kvaliteta, seme lanika je bogato polinezasićenim masnim kiselinama i predstavlja dragoceni izvor ω-3 i ω-6 masnih kiselina. Trend korišćenja proteina iz biljnih izvora je uslovio efikasnije korišćenje sačme lanika i njegovu upotrebu u ishrani.
AB  - Camelina is an oil crop which provides profitable yields, even in unfavorable growing conditions. It tolerates drought better than most other oilseed crops. With a high yield of oil of unique quality, camelina is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and is a valuable source of ω-3 i ω-6 fatty acids. The trend of using proteins from plant sources has conditioned the better use of camelina meal and its use in nutrition

AB  - Lokalitet gajenja, sa svojim zemljišnim i klimatskim specifičnostima, ima značajan uticaj na hemijski sastav biljaka. Cilj ovog rada je sagledavanje uticaja lokaliteta na sadržaj masnih kiselina u ulju šafranike. Genotip SO1 ostvario je najviši sadržaj oleinske, linolne i linolenske kiseline, u proseku za sve ispitivane lokalitete. Najviši sadržaj arahidonske, eikozapentaenoinske i behenske kiseline zabeležen je za genotip SO2, u proseku za sve ispitivane lokalitete. Na lokalitetu Sombor uočen je najviši sadržaj ukupnih mononezasićenih masnih kiselina (MUFA), dok je najviši sadržaj ukupnih zasićenih masnih kiselina (SFA) ostvaren na lokalitetu Rimski šančevi, a na lokalitetu Pančevo je zabeležen najviši sadržaj ukupnih polinezasićenih masnih kiselina (PUFA) u ulju šafranike.
AB  - The location of cultivation, with its soil and climate specificities, has a significant impact on the chemical composition of plants. The aim of this paper is to analyze the influence of locality on the content of fatty acids in safflower oil. Genotype SO1 achieved the highest content of oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids, on average for all investigated localities. The highest content of arachidonic, eicosapentaenoic and behenic acids was recorded for the genotype SO2, on average for all investigated localities. The highest MUFA content was observed at the Sombor location, while the highest SFA content was achieved at the Rimski šančevi location, and the highest PUFA content in safflower oil was recorded at the Pančevo location.

AB  - Lokalitet gajenja, sa svojim zemljišnim i klimatskim specifičnostima, ima značajan uticaj na hemijski sastav biljaka. Cilj ovog rada je sagledavanje uticaja lokaliteta na sadržaj masnih kiselina u ulju šafranike. Genotip SO1 ostvario je najviši sadržaj oleinske, linolne i linolenske kiseline, u proseku za sve ispitivane lokalitete. Najviši sadržaj arahidonske, eikozapentaenoinske i behenske kiseline zabeležen je za genotip SO2, u proseku za sve ispitivane lokalitete. Na lokalitetu Sombor uočen je najviši sadržaj ukupnih mononezasićenih masnih kiselina (MUFA), dok je najviši sadržaj ukupnih zasićenih masnih kiselina (SFA) ostvaren na lokalitetu Rimski šančevi, a na lokalitetu Pančevo je zabeležen najviši sadržaj ukupnih polinezasićenih masnih kiselina (PUFA) u ulju šafranike.
AB  - The location of cultivation, with its soil and climate specificities, has a significant impact on the chemical composition of plants. The aim of this paper is to analyze the influence of locality on the content of fatty acids in safflower oil. Genotype SO1 achieved the highest content of oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids, on average for all investigated localities. The highest content of arachidonic, eicosapentaenoic and behenic acids was recorded for the genotype SO2, on average for all investigated localities. The highest MUFA content was observed at the Sombor location, while the highest SFA content was achieved at the Rimski šančevi location, and the highest PUFA content in safflower oil was recorded at the Pančevo location.

AB  - Oplemenjivači soje instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo kontinuirano rade na stvaranju novih genotipova, od kojih se izdvajaju superiorne linije po visini prinosa i nakon višegodišnjih testiranja daju na dvogodišnje ispitivanje u Odeljenje za priznavanje sorti, Ministarstva poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede. Ova testiranja vrše se na pet lokaliteta i da bi linija prošla registraciju neophodno je da ostvari u proseku za dve godine prinos viši od 3% u odnosu na standardne sorte za pojedine grupe zrenja. Cilj ovoga rada je sagledavanje prinosa, sadržaja proteina i ulja, te prinosa proteina i ulja po jedinici površine linija soje u prvoj godini testiranja. Najviši prinos zrna imala je linija NS-L 410190 (3.623 kg ha-1). Najviši sadržaj proteina imala je linija NS-L 500091 (44,45%), dok je najviši sadržaj ulja zabeležen kod sorte NS Apolo (20,83%) i linije NS 500090 (20,53%).
AB  - Soybean breeders from the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops are continuously working on creating new genotypes, from which superior yield lines stand out, and after many years of testing, they are given a two-year test in the Department of Variety Recognition, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. These tests are performed at five localities, and in order for the line to be registered, it is necessary to achieve an average yield of more than 3% in two years compared to the standard varieties for certain groups of maturation. The aim of this paper is to consider the yield, protein and oil content, and protein and oil yield per unit area of soybean lines in the first year of testing. The highest grain yield was in the line NS-L 410190 (3623 kg ha-1). The highest protein content was found in the NS-L 500091 line (44.45%), while the highest oil content was recorded in the NS Apollo variety (20.83%) and the NS 500090 line (20.53%).

i NS Deneris (23,01%).

of this study is to assess the yield, protein and oil content, as well as protein and oil
yield per unit area, the latest NS varieties registered in 2021. In the two-year trials
of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, at five locations, the
highest yield had late soybean NS Deneris (4574 kg ha-1). The highest protein content
was early variety NS Pavle (40.53%), while the highest oil content was recorded in
varieties NS Zmaj (23.04%) and NS Deneris (23.01%).

AB  - U Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo do 2020. godine registrovano je 160 sorti soje i to 29 sorti soje grupe zrenja 000 i 00, 38 sorti 0 grupe zrenja, 50 sorti I grupe zrenja, 37 sorti II grupe zrenja i 6 sorti soje III grupe zrenja. Cilj ovoga rada je analiza prinosa, sadržaja proteina i ulja, kao i prinosa proteina i ulja po jedinici površine, najnovijih NS sorti soje priznatih u 2021. godini. Najviši prinos zrna ostvaren je sa sortom soje I grupe zrenja NS Deneris (4574 kg ha-1). Najviši sadržaj proteina imala je sorta soje NS Pavle, I grupe zrenja (40,53 %), dok je najviši sadržaj ulja zabeležen kod sorti soje I grupe zrenja NS Zmaj (23,04 %) i NS Deneris (23,01 %). Najviši prinos proteina po jedinici površine imala je sorta soje I grupe zrenja NS Deneris (1781 kg ha-1), a najviši prinos ulja sorta soje I grupe zrenja NS Zmaj (1051 kg ha-1).
AB  - Until 2021, 160 soybean varieties were registered at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, 29 soybean varieties of ripening group 000 and 00, 38 varieties of 0 ripening group, 50 varieties of ripening group I, 37 varieties of ripening group II and 6 soybean varieties of ripening group III. The aim of this paper is to analyse the yield, protein and oil content, as well as protein and oil yield per unit area, the latest NS varieties registered in 2021. The highest grain yield was achieved with the soybean variety of I ripening group NS Deneris (4574 kg ha-1). The highest protein content was in the soybean variety NS Pavle, I ripening group (40.53 %), while the highest oil content was recorded in the soybean variety I of the ripening group NS Zmaj (23.04 %) and NS Deneris (23.01 %). AB  - Camelina (Camelina sativa [L.] Crtz.) is an oilseed crop of the Brassicaceae family. It represents revived crops, which was reintroduced to contribute in diversification of the used crops. Field trials were set in a total of five different locations across four years in which in Serbia (2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019) and in Austria (2016/2017). In all samples, 12 different environments were processed. Analysis of the distributions of environments for oil content, which mirrored protein content, using the PCA analysis, shows a statistical significance of the first two main components, which participated in the phenotypic variation with a larger amount to additive component and with both axes having a statistically significant effect on the interaction. The first two main components jointly explained more than 80% of the variation in two traits. The statistical significance of the remainder is a consequence of an agronomically explicable variation. The genotypes NS Zlatka and NS Slatka, used in this study, come from elite breeding material that is engineered to provide a consistent return to the producer regardless of the amount of money invested in primary agricultural production. Incorporating these varieties into the crop rotation would broaden the range of species available in Balkan agriculture.

AB  - U Odeljenju za soju, Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo iz Novog Sada do sada je registrovano 148 NS sorti soje, različitih grupa zrenja. Cilj ovoga rada je sagledavanje prinosa, sadržaja proteina i ulja, kao i prinosa proteina i ulja po jedinici površine, najnovijih NS sorti soje priznatih u 2019 godini. U dvogodišnjim ogledima Ministarstva poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede, na pet lokaliteta, najviši prinos imala je kasna sorta soje NS Vaso (4581 kg ha-1). Najviši sadržaj proteina imala je rana sorta NS Olympus (41,58%), dok je najviši sadržaj ulja zabeležen kod srednjestasne sorte soje Sava (21,80%).

AB  - Lan je uljarica koja ima veliku primenu u medicini, ishrani ljudi i životinja i drugim granama industrije. Ogled sa sortom lana NS Primus izveden je na parcelama Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, u Bačkom Petrovcu, u tri ponavljanja. Sorta NS Primus ostvarila je u proseku visok prinos zrna i ulja. Prosečan sadržaj ulja u zrnu za testirane sorte iznosio je 40,55%. Povoljnija godina za sintezu ulja bila je sušna, 2017. godina. Sadržaj ukupnih tokoferola u ulju sorte NS Primus bio je ralativno visok i iznosio je 280,25 mg/L. γ - tokoferol je činio 100 % od ukupno prisutnih tokoferola. Relativno visok sadržaj ukupnih tokoferola doprinosi nutritivnoj vrednosti ispitivanog ulja lana.
AB  - Linseed is a oil plant which has great application in medicine, human and animal nutrition and in other branches of industry. Experiment with linseed variety NS Primus was carried out on parcels of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, in Backi Petrovac, in three repetitions. NS Primus variety made an average of high grain and oil yield in average. Average oil content in the seed for tested varieties was 40.55. Favorable year for synthesis of oil it was dry 2017. Total tocopherol content in the oil of the NS Primus variety was being relatively high and was 280.25 mg/L. γ-tocopherol made 100% of total present tocopherol. The relatively high content of total tocopherol contributed to the nutritive value of the examined flax oil.

AB  - Glavni ciljevi u stvaranju hibrida suncokreta u svetu i kod nas su povećanje produktivnosti (prinosa semena i ulja po jedinici površine) i otpornost prema bolestima, insektima i stresnim uslovima. Pored glavnog cilja, u oplemenjivanju se radi i na stvaranju hibrida posebne namene, među kojima su i visokooleinski hibridi. Kod visokooleinskih hibrida suncokreta sadržaj oleinske kiselina u ulju je povećan na preko 80%, u odnosu na standardni tip suncokreta koji ima oko 20%. Institut za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo iz Novog Sada je među prvima u Evropi stvorio hibride sa visokim sadržajem oleinske kiseline u ulju suncokreta. Nedavno su se razvili i novi visokooleinski hibridi sa poboljšanim produktivnim i agronomskim osobinama. Cilj ovoga rada je da se predstavi najnoviji visokooleinski hibrid suncokreta, NS Sanol. Hibrid je priznat 2019. godine, ima visok potencijal prinosa, visok sadržaj ulja, odlično podnosi klimatski stresne uslove (prvenstveno sušu) i veoma je adaptibilan na različite uslove gajenja.
AB  - In sunflower hybrid breeding, the main goals are increasing productivity (seed and oil yield per unit area) and resistance to diseases, insects and stressful conditions. In addition to the main goals, one of the breeding targets is creation of hybrids for special use, such as high-oleic hybrids. In the high-oleic sunflower hybrids, the content of oleic acid in oil is over 80%, compared to the standard sunflower type, which is apprx. 20%. The Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops from Novi Sad is among the first in Europe that have created hybrids with high oleic-acid content. Recently, 42 new high-oleic hybrids with improved productive and agronomic properties have been developed. The aim of this paper is to present the latest high-oleic sunflower hybrid, NS Sanol. Hybrid is released in 2019, has high yield potential, high oil content, excellent tolerance to climatic stress conditions (primarily drought) and is very adaptable to different cultivation conditions.

AB  - The aim of this study was to test whether variations in storage conditions throughout one year affect quality of oil of five different rapeseed genotypes (NS Vid, NS Pek, AMJ3, Traviata, NS Ras) harvested from three localities in Serbia (Pancevo, Rimski Sancevi, Sombor). Harvested seeds were stored in a cold room with invariable conditions (4±1°C, 60% humidity) and store room with variable conditions (up to 5°C higher than environmental). Oil samples were obtained by cold pressing rapeseed 0, 6 and 12 months after the harvest and further analyses were performed to monitor content and composition of fatty acids, tocopherols and antioxidant capacity (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity assay). The fatty acid composition was determined by gas chromatography coupled with a flame ionizing detector after derivatization to their volatile methyl esters. Quantification of tocopherols was carried out using high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection.

AB  - NS Zlatka i NS Slatka su registrovane u Srbiji kao prve sorte lanika (Camelina sativa, L. Crantz) 2018.godine, ali je seme ove vrste naĊeno u arheološkim nalazištima još iz bronzanog doba na podruĉju severnog Balkana. Poslednjih godina interes za lanikom se ponovo povećava zbog njegove raznovrsne upotrebe i skromnih agroekoloških zahteva gajenja. U dvogodišnjem ogledu sorte kanditati su ispitivane u tri lokaliteta: Sombor, Panĉevo i Novi Sad prema Pravilniku o metodama ispitivanja sorte lanika radi priznavanja sorte. Proizvodna i upotrebna vrednost sorte utvrĊena se na osnovu rezultata ispitivanja bitnih osobina sorte za ovu vrstu. Proseĉan prinos semena nešto je veći kod sorte NS Zlatka (1056 kg/ha) nego kod sorte NS Slatka (1019 kg/ha). Sadrţaj ulja kod obe sorte je gotovo jednak 42,28% (NS Zlatka) i 42,12% (NS Slatka), pri ĉemu prinos semena uzrokuje veći prinosu ulja od 6 kg/ha kod sorte NS Zlatka.
AB  - NS Zlatka and NS Slatka cultivars were registered in Serbia in 2018. They were the first cultivars of Camelina (Camelina sativa, L. Crantz) even though Camelina seeds were found at the Bronze Age archeological sites in the northern Balkan Peninsula. The recent increased interest in Camelina is due to its versatility and environmental flexibility. Candidate cultivars were tested in a two-year trial at three localities - Sombor, Panĉevo, and Novi Sad - according to the regulations on the methods of testing Camelina for cultivar registration purposes. The usability and value of the cultivars was determined according to the analysis of significant cultivar traits. Average seed yield of NS Zlatka cultivar was slightly higher (1056 kg/ha) compared to NS Slatka (1019 kg/ha). Oil content of the cultivars was almost the same: 42.28% (NS Zlatka) and 42.12% (NS Slatka), whereas higher seed yield resulted in higher oil yield, amounting to 6 kg/ha obtained from the cultivar NS Zlatka.

AB  - In rapeseed production weeds represent one of the limiting factors for achieving high yields. Imidazolinones control wide range of weeds and are applied after the emergence of crops and weeds. Clearfield® technology is based on the existence of a resistance gene against herbicides of imidazolinone (IMI) group in cultivated plants. All rapeseed hybrids whose resistance is based on the resistance gene from PM1 and PM2 are called Clearfield® rapeseed. In this paper content of oil, erucic acid and glucosinolates were analysed during three vegetation seasons. Hybrid tolerance for recommended and double increased amounts of imazamox and metazachlor based herbicide was also graded. Average yield of tested Clearfield® hybrids was less than average yield of standard rapeseed hybrids. Investigated hybrids had low glucosinolate content, and the erucic acid content was far below the allowed 2%. Phytotoxicity was manifested in the form of leaf chlorosis on small number of genotypes. Given the smaller yields of Clearfield® rapeseed hybrids in comparison to standard hybrids, IMI hybrid sowing is recommended only on fields having dominant weeds, which can be more efficient suppressed by herbicides based on imazamox.
AB  - U proizvodnji uljane repice korovi predstavljaju jedan od ograničavajućih faktora za postizanje visokih i stabilnih prinosa. Suzbijanje širokog spektra korova omogućavaju herbicidi iz grupe imidazolinona, koji se primenjuju nakon nicanja useva i korova. Clearfield® tehnologija je bazirana na postojanju gena otpornosti prema herbicidima iz grupe imidazolinona (IMI) u gajenim biljkama. Svi hibridi uljane repice čija se otpornost bazira na genima otpornosti iz PM1 i PM2 se nazivaju Clearfield® uljana repica. U ovom radu su analizirani prinos, sadržaj ulja, eruka kiseline i glukozinolata u tri vegetacione sezone. Rađena je i ocena tolerantnosti hibrida na preporučene i duplo uvećane količine herbicida na bazi imazamoksa i metazahlora. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da su prosečne vrednosti prinosa ispitivanih Clearfield® hibrida bile manje u odnosu na prinos standardnih hibrida uljane repice. Ispitivani hibridi su imali nizak sadržaj glukozinolata, a sadržaj eruka kiseline je bio daleko niži od dozvoljenih 2%. Fitotoksičnost se ispoljila u vidu hloroze listova na manjem broju genotipova. AB  - The increased production of oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) is evident on a global scale, but also in Serbia in the last decade. Rapeseed is used primarily for vegetable oil and processing industry, but also as a source of protein for animal feed and green manure. Following the cultivation of varieties, breeding and cultivation of hybrid rapeseed started in the 1990's, to take advantage of heterosis in F1 generation, while protecting the breeder's rights during seed commercialization. The breeding of hybrid oilseed rape requires high quality starting material (lines with good combining abilities) for introduction of male sterility. Ogura sterility system is primarily used at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad, Serbia. To use this system, separate lines are modified with genes for cytoplasmic male sterility (cms female line - mother line) and restoration of fertility (Rf male lines - father line). In order to maintain the sterility of the mother line it is necessary to produce a maintainer line of cytoplasmic male sterility. Creation of these lines and hybrids at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops was successfully monitored with intense use of cytogenetic laboratory methods. The structure and vitality of pollen, including different phases during meiosis were checked so that cms stability was confirmed during the introduction of these genes into different lines. Rapeseed breeding program in Serbia resulted in numerous varieties through collaboration of researchers engaged in breeding and genetics of this plant species. So far, in addition to 12 varieties of winter rapeseed and two varieties of spring rapeseed, a new hybrid of winter rapeseed NS Ras was registered in Serbia. NS Ras is an early-maturing hybrid characterized by high seed yield and oil content. Average yield of NS Ras for two seasons and three sites was 4256 kg ha-1 of seed and 1704 kg ha-1 of oil. Three promising winter rapeseed hybrids are in the process of registration in the Republic of Serbia and one in the EU. While addressing many challenges in breeding, especially resistance to biotic and abiotic stress, in addition to classical breeding, it is necessary to apply the cytogenetic and molecular analysis to increase the efficiency of producing competitive rapeseed genotypes.
AB  - Porast proizvodnje uljane repice (Brassica napus L.) evidentan je u svetskim razmerama, a poslednje decenije i u Srbiji. Uljana repica se koristi prvenstveno za dobijanje ulja za ishranu i prerađivačku industriju, ali i kao izvor proteina za ishranu domaćih životinja i zelenišno đubrivo. Nakon gajenja sorti počelo se 90-ih godina prošlog veka sa oplemenjivanjem i gajenjem hibrida uljane repice, kako bi se iskoristio efekat heterozisa u F1 generaciji, uz istovremenu zaštitu prava oplemenjivača prilikom prometa semena. U oplemenjivanju hibrida uljane repice neophodno je u kvalitetan početni materijal (linije dobrih kombinacionih sposobnosti) uneti svojstvo muške sterilnosti. U Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, Novi Sad koristi se prvenstveno Ogura sistem sterilnosti. Korišćenje ovog sistema obuhvata unošenje citoplazmatske muške sterilnosti (cms linije majke) i gena za restauraciju fertilnosti (Rf linije oca). Da bi se sterilnost linije majke održala neophodno je proizvesti i liniju održivača citoplazmatske muške sterilnosti. Prilikom stvaranja ovih linija, hibrida i u semenskoj proizvodnji u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo intenzivno i vrlo uspešno su korišćene citogenetske laboratorijske metode. Analizirana je građa i vitalnost polena, kao i različite faze tokom mejoze i utvrđena stabilnost svojstava prilikom unošenja ovih gena u različite linije. U oplemenjivanju uljane repice u Srbiji postignuti su značajni rezultati kroz saradnju istraživača koji se bave genetikom i oplemenjivanjem ove biljne vrste. Do sada je pored 12 sorti ozime i dve sorte jare repice u Srbiji registrovan hibrid ozime uljane repice NS Ras. NS Ras je ranostasni hibrid koji se odlikuje visokim prinosom zrna i ulja. Prosečan prinos u dve sezone za tri lokaliteta je bio 4256 kg ha-1 semena i 1704 kg ha-1 ulja. Još tri perspektivna ozima hibrida uljane repice nalaze se u postupku registracije u republici Srbiji i jedan u EU. U rešavanju mnogih izazova u oplemenjivanju, prvenstveno otpornosti na biotski i abiotski stres, pored klasičnog oplemenjivanja neophodno je primeniti, citogenetske i molekularne analize za povećanje efikasnosti oplemenjivanja uljane repice.

AB  - The creation of sunflower hybrids tolerant to tribenuron-methyl enabled the use of wider palette of herbicides to control effectively weeds during the growing season. Moreover, thanks to this tolerance, chemical control of broad-leaves weeds in sunflower, especially Cirsium arvense, is more efficient. The Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops offers four new hybrids tolerant to tribenuron-methyl: NS SUMO SUN, NS SUMO STAR, NS SUMO SjAj and NS SUMO SOL, released in 2016. Hybrids belong to early and medium-early maturity groups; have high yield potential and high oil content. They are adapted for cultivation in different environmental conditions. All hybrids are resistant to broomrape (Orobanche cumana Wallr) races from A-E and have a high level of tolerance to Phomopsis, white rot (Sclerotinia sclorotiorum), rust (Puccinia helianthi) and others. The paper presents the results of seed and oil yield from the official trials of the Department of variety registration within the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia.
AB  - Stvaranjem hibrida suncokreta tolerantnih na sulfonil-ureu tj. tribenuron-metil omogućeno je korišćenje šire palete herbicida za efikasno suzbijanje korova u toku vegetacionog perioda. Zahvaljujući ovoj tolerantnosti znatno je olakšana borba protiv širokolisnih korova, posebno palamide, u usevu suncokreta. U ponudi Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo su četiri nova hibrida NS SUMO SUN, NS SUMO STAR, NS SUMO SjAj i NS SUMO SOL, registrovanih u 2016. godini. Hibridi priradaju grupi ranih i srednje ranih hibrida suncokreta, pokazuju visok potencijal rodnosti i imaju visok sadržaj ulja u semenu. Prilagođeni su gajenju u različitim agroekološkim uslovima jer imaju široku adaptabilnost na uslove proizvodnje. Svi hibridi imaju otpornost prema volovodu (Orobanche cumana Wallr), rase od A-E i visok stepen tolerantnosti prema Phomopsis-u, beloj truleži (Sclerotinia sclorotiorum), rđi (Puccinia helianthi) i dr. U radu su prikazani rezultati prinosa semena i ulja komisijskih ogleda Odeljenja za priznavanje sorti Ministarstva poljoprivrede i zaštite životne sredine Republike Srbije.
