dc.description.abstractThe production of a sufficient amount of quality food is one of the world's biggest problems. Statistics record a significant increase in the human population, with a particularly pronounced trend in the underdeveloped countries of the world, which are also the weakest food producers, which contributes to an uneven ratio in the production of components of everyday food products. The aim of this paper is to carry out a market analysis of the production of wheat and corn for the Croatian market as inputs from which ready-made food is produced and to show the importance of a sustainable production management policy with the aim of reducing production costs. The emphasis of research is focused on models of reducing the fiscal burden of business in order to increase market competitiveness.sr
