AB  - In modern directions of food production, it is necessary to apply measures that would reduce the possibility of soil degradation. The aim of the work was to determine the influence of effective microorganisms on the basic parameters of soil biogenicity in the production of wheat and corn. The experiment with wheat was carried out in 2019 and the experiment with maize in 2017. Agroecological conditions in 2019 were optimal for wheat production. In 2017, unfavorable agrometeorological conditions for maize production were recorded. In both experiments, the microbiological preparation EM Aktiv with effective microorganisms was used. With wheat, it was applied twice foliarly with 6 l ha-1 . In the case of maize, EM Aktiv was introduced into the soil before sowing at 20 l ha-1 and foliarly applied twice at 6 l ha-1. The rhizosphere soil was analyzed. The total number of microorganisms and the abundance of Azotobacter in wheat were determined. In the case of corn, the total number of microorganisms and the number of ammonifiers were determined. In both experiments, an increase in the number of tested groups of microorganisms was found. The percentage increase in abundance depended on the genotype of wheat and corn. Based on the results, it was concluded that the application of effective microorganisms is necessary and that in sustainable food production systems it should be a mandatory measure to preserve the basic resources for food production.

AB  - Kišne gliste iz porodice Lumbricidae su indikatori kvaliteta zemljišta, tako da je monitoring populacija kišnih glista u agroekosistemima od suštinskog značaja. Cilj ovog rada je bio da se izvrši kvalitativna i kvantitativna anliza zajednica kišnih glista na poljima pšenice u uslovima plodoreda sa različitom obradom. Terenska istraživanja su sprovedena na lokalitetu Rimski Šančevi, tokom proleća i jeseni 2021. godine. Materijal je uzorkovan sa polja pšenice, koja su bila dvopolja (pšenica i kukuruz) sa različitom obradom i to: neđubreno, đubreno oranje i đubreno konzervacijska obrada. Utvrđeno je prisustvo 3 endogeične vrste, iz dva roda i to: Allolobophora i Aporrectodea. Ukupan broj jedinki je bio najveći u đubrenom dvopolju sa konzervacijskom obradom. Broj juvenilnih jedinki je veći tokom prolećne sezone, u odnosu na jesenju. Analizom zoogeografskih tipova, utvrđeno je prisustvo peregrinih, kosmopolitskih vrsta, koje imaju visok prag tolerancije na nepovoljne uslove sredine. U svim proučavanim poljima, zajednice kišnih glista su siromašne i uniformne.
AB  - Earthworms from the Lumbricidae family are indicators of soil quality, so monitoring earthworm populations in agroecosystems is essential. The aim of this work was a qualitative and quantitative analysis of earthworm communities in wheat fields under conditions of crop rotation with different tillage. Field research was conducted at the Rimski Šančevi location, Vojvodina, during the spring and fall of 2021. The material was sampled from wheat fields, crop rotation (wheat and corn) with different treatments: unfertilized, fertilized plowing, and fertilized conservation treatment. The presence of 3 endogeic species was determined, from two genera: Allolobophora and Aporrectodea. The total number of individuals was the highest in the fertilized field with conservation treatment. The number of juvenile individuals is higher during the spring season, compared to the autumn season. The analysis of zoogeographical types revealed the presence of peregrine, cosmopolitan species, which have a high threshold of tolerance to unfavorable environmental conditions. In all studied fields, earthworm communities are poor and uniform.

AB  - The aim of this study was to examine the effect of insecticides Talstar 10 EC (pyrethroid bifenthrin) and Nurelle D (mixture of organophosphorus and pyrethroid: chlorpyrifos and cypermethrin) on the life-cycle parameters (survival, growth, cocoons production, and hatching juveniles) of the non-target organism, earthworm Eisenia fetida (Savigny, 1826), in the laboratory and their impact on the natural earthworm population in agricultural field. The experiment was conducted from 2017 to 2019. The field experiment was performed at the Rimski Šančevi site, near Novi Sad, Serbia. The laboratory experiment was conducted according to the OECD guidelines. The earthworms were exposed to the artificial soil supplemented with different concentrations of the tested insecticides according to the recommended agricultural doses (RAD). The mixture of pesticides (Nurelle D) was found ecologically more dangerous to E. fetida than Talstar 10 EC. The 50% lethal concentration (LC50) values of both insecticides were higher than the highest concentration used in the experiment. Talstar 10 EC did not affect weight, but affected the production of cocoons and hatching juveniles, even at the RAD. The mixture of pesticides has shown toxicity after a long-time exposure, and it had an impact on the parameters of the life cycle. The results of the field experiment demonstrated that mixtures of pesticides are more toxic than single-component ones. This points out that the chemicals must be used with the maximum responsibility. Information about long-term effects can be important for understanding the field experiment data, which typically show a high variability and, therefore, are difficult to interpret.

AB  - The application of various microbiological preparations is increasingly present in agricultural production, because they affect more stable production and environmental protection. The paper analyzed the influence of microbiological preparations, namely: a preparation with effective microorganisms and a preparation with spores of the fungus Trichoderma atroviride on the weight of 1000 seeds and the grain yield of bean. Both preparations in the experiment had a significant effect on the tested properties of two varieties of beans, Zlatko and Maksa. Effective microorganisms applied to the soil and foliar during the growing season had the effect that the weight of 1000 grains was greater by 16.94%, and the application of effective microorganisms only to the soil increased the bean grain yield by 46.02 % compared to the control. Application of preparations with Tr. atroviride increased the mass of 1000 grains by 17.13 %, and the yield by 56.58 %.

AB  - In urban areas, forest patches and parks are usually the places where people spend most of their time outdoors. Because of poor environmental protection policy and insufficient investment in industry and energy, Serbia is often ranked among the European countries with the greatest environmental pollution. In recent years, ecological protests have been organized throughout the country with the aim of raising ecological awareness and resolving environmental issues. The topic has become particularly popular since the plans for opening new mining areas in western Serbia came to the fore. This study was conducted with the aim to investigate radioactivity levels and metals content in soil and foliage of the most popular parks in Belgrade, the capital and largest city of Serbia. Based on a GIS (geographic information system) approach, the spatial distribution maps of radionuclides (226Ra, 232Th, 40K, 7Be, and 137Cs) and metals (As, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Na, Ni, Pb, Zn, K, Ca, Mg, and Mn) were made. Ambient dose-equivalent rate in air was also measured. The annual effective doses and excess lifetime cancer risk from radionuclides were calculated. Health effects of exposure to heavy metals in soil were estimated by noncarcinogenic and carcinogenic risk assessment

Influence of zinc treatments on grain yield and grain quality of different maize genotypes

AB  - Maize production is intensified with a larger amount of mineral fertilisers in the era of meteorological conditions change, which leads to a decrease in the reserves of microelements in the soil. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of zinc application on grain yield, nitrogen and carbon content in grain of three maize genotypes in the period 2016–2018 (factor A). Factor B: cultivars ZP 427, ZP 548 and ZP 687 belonging to different maturation groups. Factor C: Various zinc treatments were applied: T1 – control; T2 – 25 kg Zn2+/ha (35 g of ZnSO4 on the experimental plot) was introduced into the soil before sowing; T3 – seed treatment (0.129 g of ZnSO4 • 7 H2O) +
foliar treatment (2 L/ha liquid fertiliser 7% Zn2+). The average yield for all examined variables was 7.33 t/ha. On average, T2 (8.08 t/ha) treatment showed a highly significant effect on the yield in relation to T1 (7.03 t/ha) and on T3 (7.21 t/ha). On average, the amount of nitrogen determined for all cultivars was the highest in T3 (1.52%). The highest carbon content was in T1 (41.78%), which is at the level of significance of P < 0.01 more than T2 (41.46%), while in relation to T3 (40.99%) there is no significance.

AB  - The research was carried out in three vegetative seasons 2015/16, 2016/17, and 2018/19, on an experimental plot in Padinska Skela, Belgrade, Serbia. The supplement included four NPK treatments (kg ha−1) and foliar treatment with effective microorganisms (EM 7 l ha−1) T1-129: 60: 60; T2-129: 60: 60 + 1 EM; T3-106: 60: 60 + 2 EM ; T4-83: 60: 60 + 3 EM. Four wheat genotypes were sown (Ratarica, Pobeda, Nogal, and Apache). Thousand grain weight and grain yield were determined. The thousand grain weight (TGW) was in the variety Pobeda 43.73 g, and the highest grain yield was in the variety Ratarica 7.02 tha−1. Both varieties are medium late, bread varieties. The treatments have different effects on the studied variables. The TGW was the highest in the T2 treatment of 40.81 g and the grain yield in T3 of 6.62 t ha−1, which was at the level of statistical significance of p > 0.01. The crude protein content was highest in the treatment of T2 13.93% (p > 0.01).

AB  - Soja je leguminoza sposobna da usvaja elementarni azot iz vazduha zahvaljujući simbiozi sa kvržičnim bakterijama. Inokulacija semena soje visokoefektivnim bakterijama povećava usvajanje azota i pozitivno deluje na 
ostvareni prinos. Cilj ovoga rada je sagledavanje uticaja primene NS Nitragina na prinos šest sorti soje različitih grupa zrenja. Inokulacija statistički veoma značajno povećava prinos soje, a povećanje se u proseku kretalo od 6,13% kod sorte NS Zoja do 8,49% kod sorte Sava.
AB  - Soybeans are legumes capable of absorbing elemental nitrogen from the air thanks to symbiosis with symbiotic bacteria. Inoculation of soybean seeds with highly effective bacteria increases nitrogen uptake and has a positive effect on the achieved yield. The aim of this paper is to consider the effect of NS Nitragine application on the yield of six soybean cultivars of different maturation groups. Inoculation statistically significantly increased soybean yield, and the increase ranged from 6.13% in the cultivar NS Zoja to 8.49% in the cultivar Sava.

Plant uptake and soil retention of radionuclides and metals in vineyard environments

AB  - In most European countries, each adult citizen drinks on average more than 20 L of wine every year. Three popular wine-growing areas (Aleksandrovac, Topola, and Orahovac) in Serbia were studied in order to investigate the abundance and uptake of elements from vineyard soil to plants. The specific activities of radionuclides (226Ra, 232Th, 40K, 137Cs, and 7Be) were measured in soil, leaves, and grape berries. 226Ra and 232Th were positively correlated with silt and clay and negatively correlated with sand content in soil. Specific activities of natural radionuclides were also negatively correlated with soil pH and CaCO3. Significant correlations of 40K and 137Cs with organic matter in soil were found. Concentrations of fifteen metals (As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn, Fe, K, Na, Ca, Mg, and Hg) were also measured in soil samples as well as in grapevine leaves. Analyzed soils were rich in Ni, Cu, Co, Cr, and Cd. High concentrations of Cu were probably caused by long-term use of Cu-based fungicides. Cu was correlated with Fe and organic matter content in soil. Soil-to-plant transfer factors (TF) were calculated to estimate the uptake of radionuclides and metals. Correlations obtained via PCA enable distinction between the sites Aleksandrovac and Topola relative to Orahovac. The first principal component (PC1) accounting for 30.70% of the total variance correlated significantly with soil pH (H2O), contents of CaCO3, Na, Ca, 40K, and 226Ra in soil, as well as with 226Ra, Na, Ca in plants and TFCa. The second principal component (PC2), with total variance of 17.21%, was mainly correlated with variables pertaining to Mg, Co, and Cr in the soil and TFK.

AB  - NPK đubriva i efektivni mikroorganizmi imaju veliki uticaj na morfološke
osobine biljaka soje. U ovom radu analiziran je uticaj NPK đubriva i efektivnih
mikroorganizama na masu i visinu biljaka soje. Najviše vrednosti analiziranih
osobina ostvarene su na varijanti sa primenom NPK đubriva u kombinaciji sa
efektivnim mikroorganizmima, dok je pojedinačni uticaj NPK đubriva i efektivnih
mikroorganizama slabije izražen.
AB  - NPK fertilizer and effective micro-organisms have a strong influence on
morphological characteristics of soybean plants. In this paper, the influence of NPK
fertilizers and effective microorganisms on the weight and height of soybean
plants is analyzed. The highest values of the analyzed properties were achieved in
the variant with the application of NPK fertilizers in combination with effective
organisms, while the individual influence of NPK fertilizers and effective
microorganisms was less pronounced.

AB  - Granulirani živinski stajnjak i pulsirajuće elektromagnetno polje mogu se
primenjivati kako u organskoj, tako i u konvencionalnoj proizvodnji. Živinski
stajnjak povećava prinos zrna i prinos proteina po jedinici površine, smanjuje sadržaj
proteina, manje doze živinskog stajnjaka smanjuju sadržaj i prinos ulja, dok veće
doze živinskog stajnjaka povećavaju sadržaj ulja i prinos ulja po jedinici površine.
Pulsirajuće elektromagnetno polje povećava prinos soje, sadržaj i prinos proteina i
smanjuje sadržaj ulja u zrnu soje, kao i prinos ulja po jedinici površine.
AB  - Granulated poultry manure and a pulsating electromagnetic field can be applied
both in organic and conventional production. Poultry manure increases grain yield
and protein yield per surface unit and decreases protein content. Smaller doses of
poultry manure decrease oil yield and content, while greater doses of poultry manure
increase oil yield and content per surface unit. The pulsating electromagnetic field

increases soybean yield, protein yield and content and decreases oil content in
soybean grain, as well as oil yield per surface unit.

AB  - Soybean yield depends on the selection of cultivars, soil fertility, applied cultivation practices, and agroclimatic conditions over the years. High-quality and timely primary tillage is essential for stable development and high yields of soybean plants. The effect of autumn and spring primary tillage on soybean yield and 1000-grain weight was examined in a three-year study (2013-2015). The trial included cultivars with different maturity periods, developed at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops Novi Sad: Valjevka and Galina 0 maturity group, Sava and NS Maximus I maturity group, Rubin and Venera II maturity group. Trial subplots were prepared using different periods of primary tillage, which was conducted in autumn (November, 01–05) and spring (March, 25–31). The highest yields and 1000-grain weight were obtained after autumn primary tillage in all the three study years. Yield decrease by 2.72% to 38.91% and 1000-grain weight decrease of 1.33%-11.93% were recorded after spring primary tillage
AB  - Prinos soje zavisi od izbora sorte, plodnosti zemljišta, primijenjenih agrotehničkih mjera i agroklimatskih uslova u pojedinim godinama. Kvalitetna i pravovremena osnovna obrada zemljišta je uslov za normalan razvoj biljaka soje i ostvarenje visokoh prinosa. U trogodišnjim istraživanjima (2013-2015) proučavan je uticaj jesenje i proljećne osnovne obrade na prinos i masu 1000 zrna soje. U ogledu su bile zastupljene sorte soje Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo Novi Sad, različite dužine vegetacionog perioda: Valjevka i Galina–0 grupe zrenja, Sava i NS Maximus–I grupe zrenja) i Rubin i Venera, II–grupe zrenja. Podparcele u ogledu bile su sa različitim vremenom osnovne obrade zemljišta. Osnovna obrada je vršena u jesenjem periodu (01-05. novembra) i u proljećnom periodu (25–31. mart). Jesenjom osnovnom obradom zemljišta za proizvodnju soje ostvareni su najviši prinosi i najviša vrijednost za masu 1000 zrna soje, u sve tri istraživane godine. Kod proljećne osnovne obrade smanjenje prinosa kretalo od 2,72 % do 38,91 % i smanjenje mase 1000 zrna u pojedinim godinama od 1,33 % do 11,93 %.

AB  - The application of methods in the field of biophysics, such as the pulsating electromagnetic
field (PEMP) to biological organisms, many studies are performed that indicate specific changes and
efficient action on various biochemical processes of cells in plants. The obtained results do not depend
only on the plant species, but also on the climatic conditions, agrotechnical measures and exposure time,
intensity and nature of the fields used in the research. The aim of the study was the effect of stimulation
of soybean seeds with PEMP. Soybean seeds are rich in quality proteins, oils and fats. The three-year
research period 2013-2015 implied different agrometeorological conditions. Soybean seeds of the
Valjevka variety were used. Soybeans were grown with different amounts of organic granular poultry
manure (control - no fertilization, 750 kg.ha-1 i 1300 kg.ha-1). Seed stimulation was performed before
sowing with PEMP low frequency 15 Hz and exposure of 30 minutes. Seed stimulation efficiency was
very pronounced because it statistically significantly (p <0.01) increased grain yield by 4.85% and
protein content in grain by 3.52%.

AB  - Primena folijarnih đubrenja u toku vegetacionog perioda soje ima pozitivan efekat na visinu prinosa i kvalitet zrna soje. Cilj ovoga dvogodišnjeg istraživanja je sagledavanje uticaja folijarne primene NPK đubriva sa mikroelementima i 3% rastvora UREE na prinos kod tri sorte soje različite grupe zrenja. Godina i sorta imaju statistički veoma značajan uticaj na visinu prinosa soje. Folijarna primena NPK đubriva sa mikroelementima, kao i primena 3% rastvora uree statistički veoma značajno je povećala prinos soje, a statistički veoma značajne razlike bile su i između ova dva primenjena đubriva.
AB  - The application of foliar fertilizers during the soybean vegetationperiod has a positive effect on the yield and soybean grain quality. Theaim of this two-year study is to consider the effect of foliar application ofNPK fertilizers with microelements and 3% UREE solution on the yieldof three soybean varieties of different ripening groups. The year andvariety have a statistically very significant effect on soybean yield. Foliarapplication of NPK fertilizers with microelements, as well as applicationof 3% urea solution statistically significantly increased soybean yield, andstatistically very significant differences were between these two appliedfertilizers.

AB  - Sklop biljaka ima značajan uticaj na morfološke osobine i 
ostvareni prinos soje. Broj zrna i masa zrna po biljci soje smanjuju 
se sa povećanjem gustine useva, dok je najveći prinos ostvaren pri 
optimalnim gustinama za pojedine grupe zrenja, a sa povećanjem 
ili smanjenjem gustine useva prinos se smanjuje.
Cilj ovoga rada je da se utvrde optimalne gustine setve soje za 
pojedine grupe zrenja i sagleda uticaj različitih sklopova na broj 
i masu zrna po biljci.
AB  - Plant spacing has a significant influence on the morphological characteristics and the achieved soybean yield. The number of grains and grain weight per soybean plant decreases with increasing crop density, while the highest yield is achieved at optimal densities for certain maturity groups and with increasing or decreasing crop density the yield decreases. The aim of this work is to determine the optimal soybean sowing densities for individual maturity groups and to consider the influence of different gatherings on the number and weight of grains per plant.

AB  - The number of plants per unit area has a great influence on soybean yield. The achieved composition depends primarily on the quality of the seeds, but also on the quality of soil preparation, meteorological conditions, the correctness of the seeder and the depth of sowing. In soybean production, it often happens that the pre-sowing preparation is done immediately before sowing, the sowing layer of the soil does not settle enough, and the sowing is done at a greater depth than optimal. Due to too deep sowing, germination and germination of soybean plants is difficult, the composition is thinned, and the achieved yield is reduced. Too shallow sowing also often occurs due to inadequate tillage or sowing to uneven depths. If the surface layer of the soil dries out after sowing, the seedlings will deteriorate, the composition will thin out and the soybean yield will decrease. The aim of this research is to consider the optimal, shallow, and deep sowing of soybean seeds on the number of plants per unit area, as a condition for achieving maximum soybean yield. By sowing to a depth of 3 to 5 cm in 2017 and 3 to 6 cm in 2017, a set of plants over 400,000 ha-1 was achieved, while with increasing or decreasing sowing depth, the number of sprouted plants significantly decreased.

AB  - Tokom 2016, 2017. i 2018. godine ispitivana je primena NPK đubriva, efektivnih mikroorganizama i kombinacija NPK đubriva i efektivnih mikroorganizama na prinos, sadržaj proteina i ulja kod šest NS sorti soje. NPK đubrivo i efektivni mikroorganizmi imaju pozitivan uticaj na prinos soje i kvalitativne osobine zrna. Primena efektivnih mikroorganizama i NPK đubriva statistički značajno povećava prinos, sadržaj proteina i sadržaj ulja u zrnu soje.
AB  - During 2016, 2017 and 2018, the application of NPK fertilizers, effective microorganisms and combinations of NPK fertilizers and effective microorganisms on yield, protein and oil content in six NS soybean cultivars was examined. NPK fertilizer and effective microorganisms have a positive effect on soybean yield and grain quality. Influence of effective microorganisms on soil biogenicity parameters in the rhizosphere of different soybean genotypes and soybean yield

AB  - The aim of the study was to determine the effects of applying effective microorganisms (EM) on the basic microbiological parameters of soil and soybean yield biological value. The research was conducted in the period 2016-2018. Factor A are the years 2016-2018, factor B are soybean genotypes Galina, Sava, Rubin, and factor C application of EM: variant 1 was control, variant 2 was EM in soil 20 lha-1 and foliar treatment in the stage of plant development from three to four trefoils and budding stage, 5 lha-1, variant 3 was NPK fertilizer (8:15:15), 300 kgha-1, and variant 4 was a combination of variant 2 and variant 3. During full flowering, the basic parameters of soil biogenicity were determined by the total number of microorganisms (TNB) and the number of azotobacter (AZT) and grain yield at the end of the growing period. The examined factors had a statistically significant influence on the examined parameters. Soil biogenicity parameters in variant 4 EM + NPK were statistically significantly (p lt 0.01) higher than control and variant 3. Variant 2 affected a higher number of p lt 0.01 compared to control, while compared to other variants significance was p lt 0.05 (factor B). The highest number of all examined parameters was in the rhizosphere of Rubin genotype (factor C). Variant 2 with EM increased in yield of 13.29% compared to the control which was at the level (p lt 0.05) and with the application of EM + NPK variant 4 the yield was higher by 15.95% which was at the level (p lt 0.01) of significance.
AB  - Cilj istraživanja bio je da se utvrdi efekat primene efektivnih mikroorganizama (EM) na osnovne mikrobiološke parametre biogenosti zemljišta i visinu prinosa zrna soje. Istraživanja su sprovedena u periodu 2016-2018. Faktor A su gpdine 2016-2018; faktor B genotip soje Galina, Sava, Rubin i faktor C primena EM: varijanta 1kontrola, varijanta 2-EM u zemljište 20 l/ha i folijarni tretmana u fazi razvoja biljaka od tri do četiri troliske i fazi butonizacije, 5 lha-1); varijanta 3-NPK đubriva (8:15:15), 300 kgha-1 i varijanta 4 - varijanta 2 + varijanta 3. U toku punog cvetanja utvrđeni su osnovni parametri biogenosti zemljišta ukupan broj mikroorganizama (TNB) i brojnost azotobaktera (AZB) i visinu prinosa zrna na kraju vegetacije. Ispitivani faktori su imali statistički značajan uticaj na ispitivane parametre. Parametri biogenosti zemljišta kod varijante 4 EM+NPK statistički značajno (p lt 0,01) bili veći od kontrole i varijante 3. Varijanta 2 uticala je naveću brojnost p lt 0,01 u odnosu na kontrolu dok u odnosu na druge varijante značajnost je bila p lt 0,05 (factor B). U rizosferi genotipa Rubin utvrđena je najveća brojnost svih ispitivanih parametara (faktor C). Varijanta 2 sa EM uticala je na povećanje prinosa od 13,29% u odnosu na kontrolu što je bilo na nivou (p lt 0,05), a sa primenom EM+NPK varijanta 4 prinos je bio veći za 15,95% što je bilo na nivou (p lt 0,01) značajnosti.
