AB  - In recent years many countries direct their researches to finding the best way for getting energy and reasonable using of renewable energy as part of circular economy. In research it was analyzed a significant source of all forms of energy, the Spanish cane. Spanish cane can be used on many ways: as biogas, vegetable coal, and as an alternative source of plant fibers. Its cellulose fiber is used for production of paper as well as in the textile industry (substitute for cotton, flax, and kenaf fibers). The Spanish cane can be established as perennial grass areas at degraded and unused land due to its ability to be cultivated in marginal agro-ecological conditions. By development of new technologies for the biological waste processing into energy, within the circular economy, there is increase in the alternative fuel use and, thanks to its low requirements for water and warmth Spanish cane is a desirable energy crop. Speaking of erosion, it has to be mentioned that Spanish cane is one of the best crops for soil protection against all types of erosion. It is also very good in phytoremediation and absorption of harmful gases from the atmosphere, valued in as an ornamental plant and in the construction industry.

AB  - Stability and quality of agricultural production can be ensured by sustainable resource management. Health-safe products, economic benefit, preserving the environment and health can be achieved by organic production. Organic production in the World, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and North Macedonia was analyzed in this research. Agricultural land covers 76 mill. ha which is 1.6% of world land. It is noted a growth trend of the organic agricultural area in 2021 by 1.7% according data collected from 191 countries. The largest organic agricultural land areas are in Oceania (36 mill. ha or 47%) and Europe (17.8 mill. ha - 23%) followed by Latin America (9.9 mill. hа - 13%), Asia (6.5 mill. ha, 8.5 percent), Northern America (3.5 mill. hа - 4.6%) and Africa (2.7 mill. hа - 3.5%). A trend of area growth in 2021compared to 2020 was noted Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, B&H and North Macedonia. The largest increase had North Macedonia (7794 ha, 109.1%), then B&H (2495 ha, 47.5%), Serbia (23527 ha, 21.8%) and Croatia (121924 ha, 12.3%). Great export opportunity of Serbia is in that it has excellent conditions for the growth of organic production, because of its excellent geographical position and good quality land.

AB  - Composting of mixed medicinal plant waste was performed with the addition of mixture of plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB), including Streptomyces sp., Paenybacillus sp., Bacillus sp., and Hymenobacter sp., and portions of spent coffee grounds (SCG). To assess the maturity and quality parameters of the compost, chemical and biological parameters (C/N ratio, loss of organic matter, CO2 production, dehydrogenase activity (DHA), and phytotoxicity) were evaluated during the three months of the composting process. The results revealed that the control sample (without the addition of SCG and PGPB) had evidently lower values of DHA during the entire monitoring period in comparison to other samples, indicating lower microbial activity in the compost mixture. Also, according to the released CO2, the composting process was accelerated in all samples where the SCG and PGPB were added, enabling a reduction in time needed for mixed plant waste to decompose. The germination index (GI) of the tested seeds indicated that the produced compost was acceptable and safe, with regard to all of the evaluated samples. However, at the end of the process the samples contained SCG and PGPB, which caused an increase of more than 50% of the GI in comparison to the control sample, expressing a high phyto-stimulant effect and improving the biofertilization impact.

AB  - The paper examined the influence of the application of fermented extract of horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.) in order to control tomato late blight (Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary). Given that the European Union intends to reduce the total use of chemical pesticides of 50% by 2030., for this reason we need an alternative in the protection of plants and soil. The aim of the work arose from the need for a solution to one of the most economically significant diseases of tomatoes in our region. The location of the research was the collection of the Institute for the Study of Medicinal Plants "Dr. Josif Pančić" located in Pančevo (44°52'20"N; 20°42'06"E; 74 m.a.s.l.). The 
experiments were carried out during the growing season in 2020 with the tomato variety „Ox Heart“ („Volovsko srce“), on the humogley soil type, according to a random block system in four replications.
After the evaluation of the infection of the plants by late blight, the best results were shown by the fourth variant (six weeks after the first treatment, i.e. four treatments of plants with fermented extract of horsetail) which had the least pathogen presence (on average 1.6 i.p.), while the worst results were achieved by the control variant in which there was the highest presence of the examined disease (on average 3.7 i. p.). The highest yield of tomato fruit was recorded on plants in the third variant, i.e. after three treatments or four weeks after the first treatment with fermented extract of horsetail.

AB  - This article describes still insufficiently known technology of pot marigold cultivation with the compost produced from the organic waste of the processing of medicinal plants. For the first time the application was analyzed of different amounts of compost (control – without compost, 2, 10 and 30 kg/m2 ) on the morphological, productive and qualitative parameters of two pot marigold varieties (Domaći oranž and Plamen Plus). During the five-year period, the best results in both tested pot marigold varieties were achieved with the 30 kg/m2 compost application. The yield of dry flower was higher for the Domaći oranž pot marigold variety fertilized with 30 kg/m2 compost (1957.4 kg/ha) compared with the Plamen Plus variety (451.1 kg/ha). A significantly higher fresh flower yield of the Domaći oranž variety greatly influenced the increase in the quantities of examined quality parameters (total carotenoids, total phenolic, total flavonoids, and DPPH reduction), whose content was higher in the Plamen Plus variety. The artificial neural network model, was built applying the Broyden-FletcherGoldfarb-Shanno algorithm, exerted the adequate forecasting abilities for the productivity and quality of pot marigold flowers and the influence of compost material, produced from medicinal plants waste (R2 was 0.837 for the training period). This research demonstrates that it is possible to use organic waste obtained in the processing of medicinal plants, supporting the effectiveness of a circular economy model in the cultivation of pot marigold.

AB  - Crni ovas Avena strigosa Schreb. se u svetu i kod nas gaji na malim površinama. Zahvaljujuću visokoj nutritivnoj vrednosti, visokovrednim proteinima, vitaminima B grupe, i nutrijentima (kalcijum, kalijum, magnezijum, natrijum, silicijum, gvožđe, mangan, cink i bakar) kao i flavonoidima i skrobu, koristi se za ishranu ljudi i stoke, za industrijsku preradu, a u farmaceutskoj industriji i medicini kao prirodan lek. Ovas povoljno deluje na kvalitet kostiju, jača imunitet, povoljno utiče na prostatu, nesanicu, anksioznost, depresiju, nervozu, promuklost, snižava nivo holesterola i telesnu masu, visok krvni pritisak i šećer u krvi. Čaj od ovsa se posebno preporučuje obolelima od multiple skleroze i kod lečenja dijabetesa. U ovoj studiji ispitivana je produktivnost crnog ovsa u dve varijante: V1-kontrola-bez prihrane i u V2-varijanti sa folijarnom prihranom, na proizvodnim parcelama Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Bačkom Petrovcu. Rezultati ispitivanja su pokazali da je crni ovas ispoljio visoke prinose zrna po biljci u nepovoljnoj godini za proizvodnju, a da je u varijanti sa prihranom ostvaren statistički značajno veći prinos u odnosu na kontrolu.
AB  - Black oats Avena strigosa Schreb. is grown in the world and in our country in small areas. Thanks to its high nutritional value, high-value proteins, B group vitamins, and nutrients (calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, silicon, iron, manganese, zinc and copper), as well as flavonoids and starch, it is used for human and livestock nutrition, for industrial processing, in the pharmaceutical industry and medicine as a natural medicine. Oats have a beneficial effect on the quality of bones, strengthen immunity, have a beneficial effect on the prostate, insomnia, anxiety, depression, nervousness, hoarseness, lower cholesterol levels and body weight, high blood pressure and blood sugar. Oat tea is especially recommended for patients with multiple sclerosis and in the treatment of diabetes. In this study, the productivity of black oats was examined in two variants: V1-without nutrition (control) and in V2-variant with foliar nutrition, on the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops experimental field, in Bački Petrovac. The results showed that black oats showed high grain yields per plant, in an unfavourable year for production, and that in the variant with top dressing, a statistically significantly higher yield was achieved compared to the control.

AB  - Biljke svojim cvetovima, sokovima i smolama daju pčelama hranu, stvaraju uslove za pravilan život pčelinjeg društva i predstavljaju osnovu za dobijanje pčelinjih proizvoda - meda, cvetnog praha, mleča, voska, propolisa i pčelinjeg otrova. Najzastupljenije medonosne biljke kod nas su: divlji kesten, bagrem, lipa, jorgovan, kupina, facelija, heljda, suncokret, zvezdan, lavanda, neven, žalfija, morač, šafran, itd. Pčele imaju veliki značaj za živi svet na našoj planeti. U poslednje vreme sve je više evidentna ugroženost pčela. Ova studija prikazuje medonosne biljke i efekte koje pesticidi imaju na pčele i njihovu produktivnost. Najčešći put kontaminacije je izloženost pčela agro-hemikalijama koje se koriste za zaštitu useva i njihova primena na useve. Izloženost pčela pesticidima je kroz gutanje ostataka koji se nalaze u polenu i nektaru biljaka. Zbog svega navedenog dati su praktični saveti za izbegavanje štetnih uticaja pesticida u pčelarstvu kako bi se izbegle štetne posledice.
AB  - Plants, with their flowers, juices and resins, give bees food, create conditions for the proper life of the bee colony and represent the basis for obtaining bee products - honey, pollen, nectar, wax, propolis and bee venom. The most common honey plants in our country are: wild chestnut, acacia, lime tree, lilac, blackberry, phacelia, buckwheat, sunflower, common bird's foot trefoil, lavender, calendula, sage, fennel, saffron, etc. Bees have a great importance for the living world on our planet, lately it is more and more evident bees' endangerment. This study shows honey plants and effects that pesticides have on honey bees and their productivity. The most common way of contamination is exposure of bees to agrochemicals used for crop protection and their application to crops. The exposure of bees to pesticides is through ingestion of residues found in the pollen and nectar of plants. Due to all of the above, practical advice was given to avoid the harmful effects of pesticides in beekeeping in order to avoid harmful consequences.

AB  - Upotreba pripravaka na bazi lekovitog bilja za ishranu i zaštitu bilja iz godine u godinu dobija sve više na značaju. Jedna od takvih je rastavić/preslica (Equisetum arvense L.) koji zbog silicijumove kiseline u velikom procentu suzbija pepelnicu, pegavost, sivu plesan, rđu, moniliju itd. U radu je prikazan uticaj čaja rastavića na klijavost semena belog sleza (Althaea officinalis L.), nevena (Calendula officinalis L.) i peršuna lišćara (Petroselinum sativum Hoffm.). Istraživanja su sprovedena u laboratoriji za semenarstvo Instituta za proučavanje lekovitog bilja „Dr Josif Pančić“ u Pančevu, tokom 2020. godine. Laboratorijska ispitivanja semena obuhvatila su ispitivanje morfološko fizioloških osobina (Energija klijanja – EK, Ukupna klijavost – UK).
AB  - The use of preparations based on medicinal plants for the nutrition and protection of plants is gaining more and more importance every year. One of these is horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.), which, due to its silicic acid, suppresses powdery mildew, spotting, gray mold, rust, monilia, etc. in a large percentage. The paper shows the influence of horsetail tea on the germination of the seeds of marshmallow (Althaea officinalis L.), pot marigold (Calendula officinalis L.) and parsley (Petroselinum sativum Hoffm.). The research was conducted in the laboratory for seed production of the Institute for Medicinal Plants Research „Dr Josif Pančić“ in Pančevo, during 2020. Laboratory testing of seeds included examination of morphological and physiological properties (Germination energy - EK, Total germination - UK).

Laboratorijska ispitivanja semena obuhvatila su ispitivanje morfološko fizioloških osobina (Energija klijanja – EK, Ukupna klijavost – UK)., The use of preparations based on medicinal plants for the nutrition and protection of plants is gaining more and more importance every year. One of these is horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.), which, due to its silicic acid, suppresses powdery mildew, spotting, gray mold, rust, monilia, etc. in a large percentage. The paper shows the influence of horsetail tea on the germination of the seeds of marshmallow (Althaea officinalis L.), pot marigold (Calendula officinalis L.) and parsley (Petroselinum sativum Hoffm.). The research was conducted in the laboratory for seed production of the Institute for Medicinal Plants Research „Dr Josif Pančić“ in Pančevo, during 2020. Laboratory testing of seeds included examination of morphological and physiological properties (Germination energy - EK, Total germination - UK).",

AB  - Waitea circinata var. zeae (anamorf Rhizoctonia zeae) je značajan patogen uglavnom onokotiledonih biljaka, koji je prisutan u mnogim delovima sveta, a održava se u zemljištu duži niz godina. Poslednjih godina krug domaćina W. circinata var. zeae širi se i na neke dikotiledone biljke. U okviru nedavnih istraživanja u Srbiji W. circinata var. zeae je utvrđen kao prouzrokovač truleži korena i korenovog vrata, i propadanja biljaka kupusa i uljane repice na lokalitetima Futog i Rimski Šančevi. U radu su sistematizovani publikovani podaci o rasprostranjenosti, krugu domaćina, načinu održavanja i širenja, kao i suzbijanju W. circinata var. zeae, kao i rezultati istraživanja koja su obavljena u Srbiji.

AB  - Crni ovas je nepravedno zapostavljena i manje gajena vrsta u svetu i kod nas zbog nižih prinosa koje postiže, u poređenju sa ostalim žitima. Međutim, u novije vreme dobija sve veći privredni značaj zbog visokog nutritivnog kvaliteta. Cilj ove studije je bio da se testira crni ovas - Avena strigosa Schreb. i ispitaju njegove morfološko produktivne osobine na černozemu. Eksperiment je postavljen u tri ponavljanja na parcelama Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Bačkom Petrovcu, tokom 2022. u dve varijante: kontroli i folijarnoj prihrani. Tokom izvođenja ogleda primenjena je standardna tehnologija gajenja. Žetva je obavljena u tehnološkoj zrelosti useva. Pre žetve iz svakog ponavljanja uzete su biljke za analizu sledećih parametara: visine biljaka, mase biljaka, dužine korena, dužine lista i prinosa zrna po biljci. Ostvarene su zadovoljavajuće vrednosti ispitivanih parametara produktivnosti u nepovoljnoj godini za proizvodnju. Prihrana je imala značajan uticaj na prinos zrna po biljci i komponente prinosa. Crni ovas može uspešno da se gaji kao pokrovni usev i kao krmna kultura. Poželjan je za gajenje u održivim sistemima poljoprivredne proizvodnje, a zbog velikog nutritivnog kvaliteta zrna veoma je pogodan za proizvodnju funkcionalno bezbedne hrane, što može imati veliki značaj za zdravlje stanovništva.
AB  - Oats are of great economic importance. This species is unfairly neglected and less cultivated in the world and our country, because other small grains give a higher yield. This study aimed to test black oats - Avena strigosa Schreb. and examine its morphologically productive properties on chernozem. The experiment was set up in 3 repetitions on the plots of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crop in Bački Petrovac, in 2022, in two variants: control and foliar nutrition. Standard cultivation technology was applied during the experiment. The harvest was done at the technological maturity of the crop. Before harvest, plants were taken from each repetition for the analysis of the following parameters: plant height, plant mass, root length, leaf length and grain yield per plant. Satisfactory values of the tested productivity parameters were achieved in an unfavourable year for production. Nutrition had a significant impact on grain yield per plant and yield components. Black oats can be successfully grown as a cover crop and as a forage crop. It is preferred for growing in sustainable systems of agricultural production for food, due to its great nutritional value and may provide great health benefits.

AB  - Sustainable resource management and environmental protection are the basis for ensuring long-term stability and quality of agricultural production on the global food market where organic production has a great chance. In this study, organic crop production in Serbia is analyzed in comparison with neighbouring countries, and the prospects for the development of organic crop production in our country are indicated by SWOT analysis. Trend of growth in value of organic production is recorded a continuous upward path, due to the increased awareness of people about the importance of consuming health-safe foods, produced in a certified system of organic agriculture. Organically produced plant derived food products have a higher nutritional value than conventional ones and lower level of contamination in organic crops, which is why the risk of diseases caused by contaminated food is significantly reduced. Мain benefits organic productions are health-safe products, economic profit/benefit, preserving the environment and health.

AB  - Cvetni pojasevi predstavljaju jednu od mera IPARD III program za period 2021-2027. godine koju će Ministarstvo poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede Republike Srbije u narednom periodu sufinansirati. Cvetni pojasevi seju se uz ivicu parcele i služe kao staništa za oprašivače (polinatore), druge korisne insekte i ptice, doprinose poboljšanju biodiverziteta (biološke raznolikosti), zatim sprečavaju eroziju zemljišta i služe za unapređenje ruralnog ambijenta. U radu je dat prikaz pojedinih cvetnih vrsta koje najčešće koriste u smeši semena za cvetne pojaseve, kao i agrotehnički aspekt primene cvetnih pojaseva i njihova dobrobit za agroekosistem.
AB  - Flower strips are one of the measures of the IPARD III program for the period 2021-2027. which will be co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia. Flower strips are sown along the edge of the plot and serve as habitats for pollinators, other beneficial insects and birds, contribute to the improvement of biodiversity, then prevent soil erosion and serve to improve the rural environment. The paper presents the description of certain flower species that are most often used in the seed mixture for flower strips, as well as the agrotechnical aspect of the application of flower strips and their benefit for the agroecosystem.

Cvetni pojasevi seju se uz ivicu parcele i služe kao staništa za oprašivače (polinatore), druge korisne insekte i ptice, doprinose poboljšanju biodiverziteta (biološke raznolikosti), zatim sprečavaju eroziju zemljišta i služe za unapređenje ruralnog ambijenta. U radu je dat prikaz pojedinih cvetnih vrsta koje najčešće koriste u smeši semena za cvetne pojaseve, kao i agrotehnički aspekt primene cvetnih pojaseva i njihova dobrobit za agroekosistem., Flower strips are one of the measures of the IPARD III program for the period 2021-2027. which will be co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia. Flower strips are sown along the edge of the plot and serve as habitats for pollinators, other beneficial insects and birds, contribute to the improvement of biodiversity, then prevent soil erosion and serve to improve the rural environment. The paper presents the description of certain flower species that are most often used in the seed mixture for flower strips, as well as the agrotechnical aspect of the application of flower strips and their benefit for the agroecosystem.",

AB  - Basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) is an annual herb with medicinal, edible and economical values. To reach a yield potential, among other things, seed high germination percentage and seed vigor are required. The aim of the study was to discover the most efficient biopreparations with a beneficial effect on basil seed vigor, germination and seed health. Testing was conducted with two plant protection products, permitted in organic production ('Exstrasol F', Polyversum'), and three herbal preparations (fermented valerian extract, fermented extract of yarrow, and fermented  LAB mix). Seed germination testing followed the standard procedure suggested by the Rule book on seed quality control, while seed health was examined by the filter paper method. The seeds were treated with 15 ml of bio-product solution, while the same amount of distilled water was used as a control. The experiment was conducted in three replications, and the seeds were observed on the 4th and 14th day following the treatment. The seed germination was increased in 
all treatments, in comparison to control. The treatments with fermented extract of yarrow had the highest effect on seed vigor. Based on the symptoms, the presence of Alternaria sp. was confirmed on the seed surface. Compared to control, the infection of seeds was reduced in all treatments, but the fermented extract of yarrow had the highest effect on disease reduction.

AB  - Maize ranks first among worldwide production and an important source of human and animal feed. Its production can be affected by management practices and climatic conditions. The objective of this study was to estimate stability of yield and hundred grains weight of six maize genotypes during two growing seasons at two locations, subjected to four different treatments: T1
treatment—without herbicide, Control; T2 treatment—active substance Nicosulfuron and Motivell commercial preparation; T3 treatment—active substance Rimsulfuron and Tarot; and, T4 treatment—active substance Forasulfuron and Equip. Additive main effects and multiplicative interaction—
AMMI model and genotype × environment interaction—GGE biplot were used to estimate GEI—genotype by environment interaction. The results showed that the influence of genotype (G), year (Y), locality (L), treatment (T) and all interaction on hundred grains weight were significant. The share of genotypes in the total phenotypic variance was 64.70%, while the share in total  interaction was 26.88%. The share of IPCA1 in terms of G × T interaction was 50.6%, while share of IPCA2 was 44.74%, which comprised together 94.80% of interaction. The first IPCA1 axis showed high share in the total interaction, which indicates out significance of genotype in total variation and interaction,
while high level of IPCA2 indicates a significant treatment effect. Genotype L-6 had the same mass of 100 grains (37.96 g) during both years of testing, while genotype L-1, with 4.46 g, had the largest difference between years. This clearly indicates the influence of genotype but also stress under the influence of sulfonylureas and environmental factors. The maize genotype with the highest values of hundred grains weight, L-5 and L-6, expressed the highest values of grain yield (4665 kg ha−1 and 4445 kg ha−1).

AB  - Mirođija (Anethum graveolens L.) je jednogodišnja začinska i lekovita biljka iz familije Apiaceae. Visoka energija klijanja i procenat klijavosti su potrebni za postizanje visokog prinosa. Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio utvrđivanje najefikasnijeg biopreparata sa blagotvornim dejstvom na energiju klijanja, ukupnu klijavost i zdravstveno stanje semena mirođije. Ispitivanja su sprovedena sa dva sredstva za zaštitu bilja, dozvoljena u organskoj proizvodnji (‟Extrasol F” i ‟Polyversum”) i tri biljna preparata (‟Fermentisani ekstrakt hajdučke trave”, ‟Fermentisani ekstrakt čička” i ‟Fermentisana mešavina LAB mix”). Klijavost semena je povećana u svim tretmanima u odnosu na kontrolu. Tretmani preparatom ‟Fermentisana mešavina LAB mix” ispoljili su najveći uticaj na energiju klijanja i ukupnu klijavost semena. Na osnovu simptoma i znakova bolesti, prisustvo Alternaria sp. je potvrđeno na površini semena mirođije. U poređenju sa kontrolom, zaraza semena je smanjena u tretmanima sa preparatima ‟Fermentisana mešavina LAB mix” i ‟Fermentisani ekstrakt čička”.

AB  - Secale cereale L. is second important bread grain, after wheat, and an economically important crop for functional food. Rye production parameters in world and in Serbia were analysed in this study and quality parameters. The average rye area (4.28 mill. ha) and production (12.12 mil.t) in world, in the five- year period, recorded a growth trend and average grain yield was 3.01 t ha-1. In 2020 in the Republic of Serbia, the average grain yield of rye was 3,23 t ha-1. Rye is considered a healthy cereal due to its high content of dietary fiber and is a rich source of vitamins B and E, minerals: Ca, Fe, F, P, K, Zn, Mn, Cu, K, which is why it is a suitable raw material for the production of functional food. Rye foods have beneficial effects on insulin, which may have positive implications for diabetes prevention. abstract = "Secale cereale L. is second important bread grain, after wheat, and an economically important crop for functional food. Rye production parameters in world and in Serbia were analysed in this study and quality parameters. The average rye area (4.28 mill. ha) and production (12.12 mil.t) in world, in the five- year period, recorded a growth trend and average grain yield was 3.01 t ha-1. In 2020 in the Republic of Serbia, the average grain yield of rye was 3,23 t ha-1. Rye is considered a healthy cereal due to its high content of dietary fiber and is a rich source of vitamins B and E, minerals: Ca, Fe, F, P, K, Zn, Mn, Cu, K, which is why it is a suitable raw material for the production of functional food. Rye foods have beneficial effects on insulin, which may have positive implications for diabetes prevention. AB  - The term biodiversity includes the overall diversity of living organisms within the biosphere. In order for natural processes in ecosystems to take place, it is necessary to preserve all components of biodiversity. The cycles of the circulation of matter and the flow of energy are the basis for the maintenance of life on the planet, and take place in ecosystems thanks to the activity of plants, animals and microorganisms. In addition to enabling the maintenance of all life on the planet, biological resources, that is, living organisms, have an exceptional practical value for humans. Therefore, the protection and conservation of biological resources should be included in the implementation of activities related to environmental protection. In this paper, the importance of preserving the diversity of biological resources, as a group of the most important natural resources on the planet, is considered.

AB  - U ovoj studiji istražujemo koncept prilagođavanja klimatskim promenama iz aspekta analize uticaja promena na proizvodnju lana. Testirani su parametri kvaliteta sorti uljanog lana NS Marko i NS Primus, koje su selekcionisane u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo. Eksperimenti su izvedeni na parcelama Instituta, u tri ponavljanja, u trogodišnjem periodu. Godina istraživanja je imala značaj uticaj na ispitivane parametre proizvodnje lana. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali značajna 
variranja sadržaja ulja po godinama. Primenom nove poboljšane tehnologije proizvodnje uspešno možemo da se suočimo sa promenama koje su nastupile, a koje izvesno opredeljuju pravce budućeg razvoja.
AB  - In this study, we explore the concept of adaptation to climate change from the aspect of analyzing the impact of changes on linseed production. The quality parameters of linseed varieties NS Marko and NS Primus were tested, which were selected at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops. The experiments were performed on the plots of the Institute, in three replications, over a three-year period. The year of research had a significant impact on the examined parameters of linseed production. The results of the research showed significant variations in oil content over the years. By applying
new improved production technology we can successfully face the changes that have taken place, and which certainly determine the directions of future development.

AB  - The first part of the paper presents some of the most used medicinal plant species used for this purpose: stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.), comfrey (Symphytum officinale Wallwort), dandelion (Taraxacum officinalis Weber), garlic (Allium sativum L.), horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.), chamomile (Chamomilla recutita (L.) Rausch.), tansy (Tanacetum vulgare L.), yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.), pot marigold (Calendula officinalis L.), valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.), marigolds (Tagetes sp.) and burdock (Arctium lappa L.). As different organs are used from these species, the time of the harvesting (picking) of these species is of great importance. The most suitable picking moment is from the beginning until the full blossom phase, because during this period, the listed species are the richest in their typical active substances, micro- and macro elements. The second part briefly explains how and by what means the listed species are used in biodynamic and organic production, how and in which manner to prepare by some of the recipes for the making of individual preparations, as well as what their purpose is in plant nutrition, plant protection and/or the preparation of compost.

AB  - The paper presents the possibilities of using different types of preparations prepared from certain types of medicinal plants, which can be used in plant nutrition and protection, as well as in the composting process for the needs of plant cultivation in urban agriculture. The trend of importance of urban agriculture, both in terms of food safety and innovative practices, is increasingly present in highly developed countries as well as developing countries. This type of agriculture can play an important role in justice and fairness in terms of food distribution, but also in improving air quality, biodiversity and ecosystem services. In this regard, the application of preparations based on medicinal plants introduces innovative methods of urban agriculture that can be considered a tool to ensure future food safety.
AB  - U radu se prikazuju mogućnosti upotrebe različitih vrsta pripravaka pripremljenih od pojedinih vrsta lekovitog bilja, a koji se mogu primenjivati u ishrani i zaštiti bilja, kao i u procesu kompostiranja za potrebe gajenja bilja u urbanoj poljoprivredi. Trend značaja urbane poljoprivrede kako u pogledu bezbednosti hrane, tako i u inovativnim praksama je sve više prisutan kako u visokorazvijenim, tako i državama u razvoju. AB  - The paper examined the impact of the application of three different phytohormones (INCIT 2, INCIT 5 and INCIT 8, all based on a-Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA)), with the cuttings of two forms of Pannonian thyme (the L-16 form, with hairy leaves, and the L-9 form, with hairless leaves), established during two periods (March and May), on the percentage of the rooted cuttings and the morphological properties of the seedlings. As the control, the variant without the application of the phytohormones was taken. The research was conducted in the period from 2019 to 2020, in a plastic greenhouse, using the plant collection of the Institute for Medicinal Plants Research "Dr Josif Pančić", which is located in Pančevo city, Serbia (44°52'20"N; 20°42'06"E; 74 m.a.s.l.). For this research was used the Pannonian thyme species (Thymus pannonicus All.) from the Lamiaceae family, which is grown and produced at the Institute. Plant establishment was carried out in four repetitions with 33 cuttings per each variant. Standard measures of care were used during the period of production of Pannonian thyme. The measurement was performed after 60 days from the date of conducted the experiment. The following parameters were measured: the percentage of rooted cuttings (%), the mass of the rooted plantlings (g), the mass of roots (g), the length of rooting (cm) and the number of root hairs of the formed rootings. The measuring was done using a ruler, millimetre paper and an analytical balance. Given the results achieved, INCIT 2 proved to be the most suitable phytohormone for the rooting of Pannonic thyme cuttings, with the average percentage of rooted cuttings of 61.3%. The lowest rooting percentage was recorded in the control variant, only 29.4%. Satisfactory rooting was found in the cuttings treated with INCIT 8 (57.6%). The L-16 form cuttings showed a higher rooting rate, an average of 53.8%, whereas the L-9 form cuttings had a lower average percentage of rooted cuttings (45.0%) for both plant establishment periods. Greater success and quality in the rooting of cuttings was recorded in the second (May) period of plant establishment, averaging 58.1%, which was higher by 17.4% than the percentage of rooted cuttings in the first establishment period (40.7%). It is important to note that the rooting of the L-9 form was significantly higher in the second establishment period (58.1%) than that in the first establishment period (31.9%).
AB  - U radu je ispitivan uticaj primene tri fitohormona na bazi a-naftil-sirćetne kiseline (NAA) (INCIT 2, INCIT 5 i INCIT 8), na procenat ožiljenih reznica i morfološke osobine sadnica dveju formi panonskog timijana (L-16, forma sa dlakavim listovima i L-9 forma sa glatkim listovima), zasnovanih u dva termina (u martu i maju). Varijanta bez primene fitohormona uzeta je kao kontrolna. Istraživanja su realizovana u periodu od 2019. do 2020. godine, u plasteniku, na lokaciji biljne kolekcije Instituta za proučavanje lekovitog bilja "Dr Josif Pančić" u Pančevu (44°52'20"N; 20°42'06"E; 74 m.n.v.). Za ova istraživanja korišćen je panonski timijan (Thymus pannonicus All.) iz familije Lamiaceae, koja se gaji i umnožava u Institutu. Ogled je zasnovan u četiri ponavljanja sa 33 reznice po svakoj varijanti. Tokom perioda proizvodnje reznica panonskog timijana korišćene su standardne mere nege. Merenje je obavljeno 60 dana nakon postavljanja ogleda. Meren je procenat ožiljenih reznica (%), masa ožiljene biljčice (g), masa korenčića (g), dužina korenčića (cm) i broj žilica formiranih korenčića. Merenje je obavljeno pomoću lenjira, milimetarske hartije i precizne analitičke vage. Na osnovu ostvarenih rezultata, kao najpogodniji fitohormon za ožiljavanje reznica panonskog timijana pokazao se INCIT 2, kod koga je prosečan procenat ožiljenih reznica bio 61,3%. Najmanji procenat ožiljavanja zabeležen je pri kontrolnoj varijanti, samo 29,4%. Zadovoljavajuću ožiljenost pokazale su reznice tretirane preparatom INCIT 8 (57,6%). Reznice forme L-16 pokazale su veću ožiljenost, u proseku 53,8%, dok su reznice forme L-9 imale manji procenat ožiljenih reznica (45,0%) u proseku za oba termina zasnivanja. Veća uspešnost i kvalitet ožiljavanja reznica evidentirana je u drugom (majskom) terminu zasnivanja (58,1%), što je za 17,4% više u odnosu na procenat ožiljenih reznica u prvom terminu zasnivanja (40,7%). Bitno je istaći da je ožiljenost forme L-9 bila značajno veća u drugom terminu zasnivanja (58,1%) u odnosu na prvi termin zasnivanja (31,9%).

Biocontrol of economically significant diseases in order to increase the yield of pot marigold and valerian seeds and potato tubers

AB  - The paper examines the effect of the application of three different preparations on the presence of four economically significant diseases in the crops of pot marigold, valerian and potato. On pot marigold, the intensity was determined of pot marigold powdery mildew infection of the marigold leaf (Podosphaera xanthii (Castagne) U. Braun & Shishkoff), whereas on valerian, it was the intensity of valerian stem canker and black mold (Alternaria alternata (Fr. ex Fr.) Keissel), and in potatoes, the intensity of early blight (Alternaria solani (Ellis & Mart.)) and that of late blight (Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary). Of the preparations, the synthetic preparation "Sekvenca" ("Sequence") (a.m. difenoconazole, 250 g/l) was applied at a dose of 0.5 l/ha, the registered biostimulant "Zlatno inje" ("Golden frost") (manure-based fertiliser) was applied at a dose of 3.0 l/ha, microbiological preparation (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens ssp. TMF3) at a dose of 3.0 l/ha. The fourth variant was the control variant, i.e. the variant without treatment. Field experiments were performed during 2019 at two locations in the wider area of the City of Pančevo. The experiments were performed by a randomised block system with three replications. The size of the main plot was 9.0 m2 (4.5 x 2.0 m). The following was used as plant material: the pot marigold variety of "Domaći oranž" ("Domestic orange"), the valerian variety of "Vojvođanski" ("Vojvodinian") and the potato variety of "Desire". The first assessment of disease intensity was performed one month following the treatment with the selected preparations, and the second one was performed two weeks after the first assessment. In the pot marigold crops, the smallest infection percentage had the plants treated with the type Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, in valerian, the fewest plants infected with the fungus A. alternata were recorded on small plots on which the synthetic preparation "Sekvenca" was applied, which was also the case with early blight and late blight. The weakest efficiency in the control of pot marigold powdery mildew infection and valerian stem canker and black mold was recorded with the use of the biostimulant "Zlatno inje", which showed the highest efficiency in the case of late blight. The highest yield of pot marigold seeds (632.7 kg/ha) had been treated with the type Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, with valerian, the highest seeds yield was recorded following the application of the preparation "Sekvenca" (186.1 kg/ha), while in potatoes, the highest amount of tubers was recorded with the preparation "Zlatno inje" (30.83 t/ha). However, if the agroecological and the agrotechnical aspects of production are taken into account, by the use of the type Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, a satisfactory basis was achieved for various kinds of further research of this and similar preparations in order to improve the existing production of medicinal and other types of plants.
AB  - U radu je ispitivan uticaj primene tri različita preparata na prisutnost četiri ekonomski značajne bolesti u usevu nevena, odoljena i krompira. Na nevenu je utvrđivan intenzitet zaraze pepelnice lista (Podosphaera xanthii (Castagne) U. Braun & Shishkoff.), u odoljenu na pegavost lista (Alternaria alternata (Fr. ex Fr.) Keissel), kod krompira na crnu pegavost (Alternaria solani (Ellis & Mart.)) i plamenjaču (Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary). Od preparata, primenjen je sintetički preparat "Sekvenca" (a. m. difenokonazol, 250 g/l) u dozi 0,5 l/ha, registrovani biostimulator "Zlatno inje" (đubrivo na bazi stajnjaka) u dozi 3,0 l/ha, mikrobiološki preparat (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3) u dozi 3,0 l/ha. Četvrta varijanta je bila kontrolna varijanta, odnosno varijanta bez tretmana. Poljski ogledi su izvedeni tokom 2019. godine na dve lokacije na širem području grada Pančeva. Ogledi su izvedeni po slučajnom blok sistemu u tri ponavljanja. Veličina elementarne parcele bila je 9,0 m2 (4,5 x 2,0 m). Kao biljni materijal korišćena je sorta nevena "Domaći oranž", odoljena "Vojvođanski" i krompira "Desire". Prva ocena intenziteta oboljenja, obavljena je mesec dana nakon tretmana odabranim preparatima, druga je obavljena dve nedelje nakon prve ocene. U usevu nevena najmanji procenat zaraze imale su biljke tretirane sojem Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, kod odoljena najmanje zaraženih biljaka sa gljivom A. alternata evidentirano je na parcelicama na kojima je primenjen sintetički preparat "Sekvenca", što je bio slučaj i sa crnom pegavosti i plamenjačom krompira. Najslabija efikasnost u suzbijanju pepelnice lista nevena i pegavosti lista odoljena je zabeležena primenom biostimulatora "Zlatno inje", koji je pokazao najveću efikasnost kod plamenjače krompira. Najveći prinos semena nevena (632,7 kg/ ha) imao je tretman sojem Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, kod odoljena najveći prinos semena zabeležen je pri primeni preparata "Sekvenca" (186,1 kg/ha), dok je kod krompira najveća količina krtola evidentirana sa preparatom "Zlatno inje" (30,83 t/ha). Ipak, ukoliko se uzmu u obzir agroekološki i agrotehnički aspekt proizvodnje, primenom soja Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, ostvarena je zadovoljavajuća osnova za različite vrste narednih istraživanja ovog i njemu sličnih preparata, a u cilju unapređenja postojeće proizvodnje lekovitog i ostalih vrsta bilja.

Keissel), and in potatoes, the intensity of early blight (Alternaria solani (Ellis & Mart.)) and that of late blight (Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary). Of the preparations, the synthetic preparation "Sekvenca" ("Sequence") (a.m. difenoconazole, 250 g/l) was applied at a dose of 0.5 l/ha, the registered biostimulant "Zlatno inje" ("Golden frost") (manure-based fertiliser) was applied at a dose of 3.0 l/ha, microbiological preparation (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens ssp. TMF3) at a dose of 3.0 l/ha. The fourth variant was the control variant, i.e. the variant without treatment. Field experiments were performed during 2019 at two locations in the wider area of the City of Pančevo. The experiments were performed by a randomised block system with three replications. The size of the main plot was 9.0 m2 (4.5 x 2.0 m). The following was used as plant material: the pot marigold variety of "Domaći oranž" ("Domestic orange"), the valerian variety of "Vojvođanski" ("Vojvodinian") and the potato variety of "Desire". The first assessment of disease intensity was performed one month following the treatment with the selected preparations, and the second one was performed two weeks after the first assessment. In the pot marigold crops, the smallest infection percentage had the plants treated with the type Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, in valerian, the fewest plants infected with the fungus A. alternata were recorded on small plots on which the synthetic preparation "Sekvenca" was applied, which was also the case with early blight and late blight. The weakest efficiency in the control of pot marigold powdery mildew infection and valerian stem canker and black mold was recorded with the use of the biostimulant "Zlatno inje", which showed the highest efficiency in the case of late blight. The highest yield of pot marigold seeds (632.7 kg/ha) had been treated with the type Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, with valerian, the highest seeds yield was recorded following the application of the preparation "Sekvenca" (186.1 kg/ha), while in potatoes, the highest amount of tubers was recorded with the preparation "Zlatno inje" (30.83 t/ha). However, if the agroecological and the agrotechnical aspects of production are taken into account, by the use of the type Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, a satisfactory basis was achieved for various kinds of further research of this and similar preparations in order to improve the existing production of medicinal and other types of plants., U radu je ispitivan uticaj primene tri različita preparata na prisutnost četiri ekonomski značajne bolesti u usevu nevena, odoljena i krompira. Na nevenu je utvrđivan intenzitet zaraze pepelnice lista (Podosphaera xanthii (Castagne) U. Braun & Shishkoff.), u odoljenu na pegavost lista (Alternaria alternata (Fr. ex Fr.) Keissel), kod krompira na crnu pegavost (Alternaria solani (Ellis & Mart.)) i plamenjaču (Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary). Od preparata, primenjen je sintetički preparat "Sekvenca" (a. m. difenokonazol, 250 g/l) u dozi 0,5 l/ha, registrovani biostimulator "Zlatno inje" (đubrivo na bazi stajnjaka) u dozi 3,0 l/ha, mikrobiološki preparat (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3) u dozi 3,0 l/ha. Četvrta varijanta je bila kontrolna varijanta, odnosno varijanta bez tretmana. Poljski ogledi su izvedeni tokom 2019. godine na dve lokacije na širem području grada Pančeva. Ogledi su izvedeni po slučajnom blok sistemu u tri ponavljanja. Veličina elementarne parcele bila je 9,0 m2 (4,5 x 2,0 m). Kao biljni materijal korišćena je sorta nevena "Domaći oranž", odoljena "Vojvođanski" i krompira "Desire". Prva ocena intenziteta oboljenja, obavljena je mesec dana nakon tretmana odabranim preparatima, druga je obavljena dve nedelje nakon prve ocene. U usevu nevena najmanji procenat zaraze imale su biljke tretirane sojem Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, kod odoljena najmanje zaraženih biljaka sa gljivom A. alternata evidentirano je na parcelicama na kojima je primenjen sintetički preparat "Sekvenca", što je bio slučaj i sa crnom pegavosti i plamenjačom krompira. Najslabija efikasnost u suzbijanju pepelnice lista nevena i pegavosti lista odoljena je zabeležena primenom biostimulatora "Zlatno inje", koji je pokazao najveću efikasnost kod plamenjače krompira. Najveći prinos semena nevena (632,7 kg/ ha) imao je tretman sojem Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, kod odoljena najveći prinos semena zabeležen je pri primeni preparata "Sekvenca" (186,1 kg/ha), dok je kod krompira najveća količina krtola evidentirana sa preparatom "Zlatno inje" (30,83 t/ha). Ipak, ukoliko se uzmu u obzir agroekološki i agrotehnički aspekt proizvodnje, primenom soja Bacillus amyloliquefaciens TMF3, ostvarena je zadovoljavajuća osnova za različite vrste narednih istraživanja ovog i njemu sličnih preparata, a u cilju unapređenja postojeće proizvodnje lekovitog i ostalih vrsta bilja.",
