AB  - Promena klime dovodi do ekstremnih klimatskih fenomenima, kao što su: suše, poplave, toplotni talasi, a vegetaciona sezona 2022. godine je bila pravi pokazatelj tih promena. Suncokret je, u 2022. godini u Srbiji, zabeležio jednu od rekordnih posejanih površina na oko 275 000 hektara. Razlog sve većoj zastupljenosti ove vrste na njivama širom naše zemlje su sve češće visoke temperature i suša, koje ova biljna vrsta može bolje da toleriše u odnosu na druge jare kulture. Stvaranje novih genotipova tolerantnih na sušu i generalno stres je prioritet i u konvencionalnom i u modernom (biotehnološkom) oplemenjivanju biljaka. Poznavanje uticaja faktora sredine na rast i razvoj useva umanjuje mogućnost značajnog gubitka prinosa usled pogrešnog odabira hibrida i unapređuje izbor hibrida za gajenje u ciljnim regionima. Upravo iz tog razloga, Institut za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, Institut od nacionalnog značaja za Republiku Srbiju izvodi multilokacijske mikrooglede koji uključuju novopriznate hibride, kao i hibride koji su već ustaljeni u široj proizvodnji. Cilj ovog rada je predstavljanje proizvodnih rezultata prinosa semena NS hibrida suncokreta u mreži mikroogleda i proizvodnih ogleda koji su izvedeni tokom 2022. godine (ekstremno sušne), kao i preporuka sortimenta za setvu u 2023. godini.

AB  - Ispitivan je uticaj hemijskih desikanata na gubitak vlage zrna i semenske kvalitete suncokreta. Herbicidima Kabuki 2.5 EC (a. i. pyraflufen-ethyl, 1 l/ha), i carfentrazoneethyl, (0,4 l/ha) tretirano je 6 CMS roditeljskih linija. Prosečan sadržaj vlage zrna se kod oba tretmana nije značajno razlikovao od kontrolne varijante. Nije bilo vidljivih znakova sušenja drugih biljnih organa u odnosu na kontrolu. Energija klijanja i klijavost semena ispitivani su 40 i 54 dana posle žetve. Nije došlo do pada semenskih kvaliteta u odnosu na kontrolu. Korišćeni herbicidi nisu pokazali zadovoljavajući efekat u desikaciji suncokreta.
AB  - The influence of chemical desiccants on grain moisture loss and sunflower seed quality was investigated. 6 CMS parental lines were treated with the herbicides Kabuki 2.5 EC (a. i. pyraflufen-ethyl, 1 l/ha) and carfentrazone-ethyl (0.4 l/ha). The average grain moisture content in both treatments was not significantly different from the control variety. There were no visible signs of drying of other plant organs compared to the control. Germination energy and seed germination were examined 40 and 54 days after harvest. There was no decline in seed quality compared to the control. The used herbicides did not show a satisfactory effect in sunflower chemical desiccation.

AB  - Na sortnoj listi Srbije nalaze se 202 registrovana hibrida suncokreta, raznih tipova i grupa zrenja. Najzastupljeniji su hibridi novosadskog Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo (68). Na tržištu raste udeo hibrida otpornih na pojedine grupe herbicida (od 53% u 2017. do 64% u 2018. godini). U periodu 2009-2018. semenski suncokret se u Srbiji prosečno gajio na 1924 ha a procena je da se godišnje prosečno doradilo 1975 t semena (prosečno 1,03 t/ha). U Srbiji je 2017. godine deklarisano 1666267 kg a 2018. godine 1888959 kg semena suncokreta. Udeo uvezenog semena iznosio je 86,47% u 2017. godini i 85,27% u 2018. godini. Srbija ima sve preduslove za veću proizvodnju semena suncokreta, od povoljnih agroekoloških uslova preko dobrih stučnjaka, proizvođača i dorađivača, do kvalitetne stručne kontrole.
AB  - The variety list of Serbia contains 202 registered sunflower hybrids, various types and groups of ripening. Hybrids of the Novi Sad Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops are the most frequent (68). The share of hybrids resistant to certain groups of herbicides grows in the market (from 53% in 2017 to 64% in 2018). In the period 2009-2018. sunflower for seed in Serbia was grown on average in 1924 ha and the estimate is that an average of 1975 tons of seeds annually have been processed (an average of 1.03 t/ha). In Serbia in 2017, 1666267 kg and in 2018 1888959 kg of sunflower seed were declared. The share of imported seeds was 86.47% in 2017 and 85.27% in 2018. Serbia has all the preconditions for greater sunflower seeds production, from favorable agro-ecological conditions through good experts, manufacturers and processors, to quality expert control.

AB  - This paper analyzed the processed seed of five sunflower hybrid seed developed at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad before and after processing in gravity separator. The cultivars were Pegaz, Duško, NS Fantazija, Sumo 1 PR and NS Oskar. The analysis was conducted on seed lots processed in 2015 and involved the following parameters: seed purity percentage, 1.000-seed weight, germination energy, germination, seed moisture, number of sclerotinia per 1.000. The results showed that all the parameters of seed quality of sunflower hybrids were better after processing seeds in the gravity separator.
AB  - U ovom radu analizirano je seme pet hibrida suncokreta pre i posle dorade na gravitacionom stolu. Hibridi su nastali u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu i to su: Pegaz, Duško, NS Fantazija, Sumo 1 PR i NS Oskar. Analiza je sprovedena po partijama dorađenog semena u 2015-oj. godini i obuhvatila je sledeće parametre: čistoću semena, masu 1000 semena, energiju klijanja, klijavost, vlažnost semena i broj sklerocija. Rezultati su pokazali da su svi parametri semenskih kvaliteta suncokreta kod svih hibrida bolji posle dorade semena na gravitacionom stolu.

The results showed that all the parameters of seed quality of sunflower hybrids were better after processing seeds in the gravity separator., U ovom radu analizirano je seme pet hibrida suncokreta pre i posle dorade na gravitacionom stolu. Hibridi su nastali u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu i to su: Pegaz, Duško, NS Fantazija, Sumo 1 PR i NS Oskar. Analiza je sprovedena po partijama dorađenog semena u 2015-oj. godini i obuhvatila je sledeće parametre: čistoću semena, masu 1000 semena, energiju klijanja, klijavost, vlažnost semena i broj sklerocija. Rezultati su pokazali da su svi parametri semenskih kvaliteta suncokreta kod svih hibrida bolji posle dorade semena na gravitacionom stolu.",

AB  - Seed treatment with fungicides is very good way for plant protection. That is esspecialy important in early way of plant growing. Treating of seed with fungicide provide reduce using of pesticides comparing with treatment with sprayer in the field. Fungicide seed treatment should meet several conditions: must have no effect on the biological characteristics of the seed, has to be effective in a variety of growing conditios and must be safe to handle. Sunflower seeds in the seed processing treated with fungicides. Of fungicides for the treatment of hybrid seed is mostly used metalaxil. Seed treatment is last phase of seed processing and seed treater is equipment for seed treating. In this paper work are shown results of reaserch which was done in Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad. Aim of this reaserch was to check percentage of pesticide active materials losses during sunflower seed treatment with two seed teaters (B-10 and CC-50). Reaserch was done on four sunflower hybrid seeds NS Fantazija, NS Oskar, Orfej and NS Novak. The best results had seed of hybrid NS Fantazija, because hybrid NS Fantazija have smothness seed pericarp. Analyses of active materials losses shown as that seed treater B-10 had biger losses. This biger losses was expected because seed treater CC-50 it technical improve and better treater then B-10.
AB  - Tretiranje semena fungicidima predstavlja povoljan način zaštite ratarskih kultura od bolesti u ranim fazama razvoja biljaka. Nanošenjem na seme upotrebljava se znatno manja količina pesticida u odnosu na folijarne. Fungicid za tretiranje semena treba da zadovolji nekoliko uslova: ne sme da ima uticaj na biološke karakteristike semena, mora biti efikasan u različitim uslovima gajenja i mora da bude bezbedan za rukovanje. Seme suncokreta se u procesu dorade tretira fungicidima. Od fungicida za tretiranje hibridnog semena suncokreta najviše se koristi metalaksil. Hemijsko tretiranje semena, odnosno njegova zaštita, je završna faza dorade i vrši se na specijalnim mašinama za zaprašivanje semena, zaprašivačima. U ovom radu su prikazani rezultati uporednog ispitivanja dva zaprašivača, B-10 i CC-50. Ova dva zaprašivača se koriste u centru za doradu hibridnog semena suncokreta Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu. Ispitivanje se izvršilo na četiri hibrida suncokreta najnovije generacije NS Fantazija, NS Oskar, Orfej i NS Novak. Najbolji rezultat je ostvaren tretiranjem semena hibrida NS Fantazija, pošto taj hibrid ima gladak nenaboran perikarp. Rezultati ispitivanja su pokazali da zaprašivač B-10 ostvaruje veće gubitke. Lošiji rezultati ovog zaprašivača su posledica starije tehnologije i tehničkih karakteristika u odnosu na drugi ispitivani, centrifugalni zaprašivač CC-50.

AB  - The aim of this paper was to examine the influence of biostimulators, with or without the use of fungicides, on seed quality parameters and early growth of sunflower seedling. Testing was conducted at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad on cytoplasmic male sterile sunflower line HA-26-PR. The experiment included six treatments: Slavol S (25%), Slavol S (25%) + fungicide (a.m. metalaxyl-M), Bioplant Flora (2%), Bioplant Flora (2%) + fungicide (a.m. metalaxyl-M), Slavol S (25%) + Bioplant Flora (2%), Slavol S (25%) + Bioplant Flora (2%) + fungicide (a. m. metalaxyl-M) and control. Results of the research showed that treating the seed with biostimulators prior to sowing has a significant influence on seed germination parameters and early growth of sunflower seedling. The individual application of fertilizers, with or without the use of fungicide, gave a positive effect, while their combination led to a negative effect. The individual application of fertilizers, with or without combination with fungicide, may increase germination energy by 5%, germinability by 6%, but may also reduce the time of seed germination. Likewise, their use has a positive effect on early growth of sunflower seedling.
AB  - Cilj rada bio je da se ispita uticaj biostimulatora, sa ili bez upotrebe fungicida, na parametre kvaliteta semena i rani porast klijanca suncokreta. Testiranje je sprovedeno u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu na citoplazmatski muško sterilnoj liniji suncokreta HA-26-PR. U ogled je bilo uključeno šest tretmana: Slavol S (25%), Slavol S (25%) + fungicid (a.m. metalaksil-m), Bioplant Flora (2%), Bioplant Flora (2%) + fungicid (a.m. metalaksil-m), Slavol S (25%) + Bioplant Flora (2%), Slavol S (25%) + Bioplant Flora (2%) + fungicid (a. m. metalaksil-m) i kontrola. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da tretiranje semena biostimulatorima pre setve ima značajan uticaj na parametre klijanja semena i rani porast klijanca suncokreta. Pojedinačna primena preparata, sa ili bez upotrebe fungicida, dala je pozitivan efekat, dok je njihova kombinacija dovela do negativnog dejstva. Pojedinačnom primenom preparata, sa ili bez kombinacije sa fungicidom, može se povećati energija klijanja za 5%, klijavost za 6%, ali i skratiti vreme klijanja semena. Takođe, njihovom upotrebom ostvaruje se pozitivan efekat i na rani porast klijanca suncokreta.

AB  - The aim of this paper was to examine the effects of biostimulators on root and shoot length of sunflower seedling deriving from seeds treated with biostimulators prior to sowing. Experiment was conducted at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops on five cytoplasmic male sterile lines: OCMS: - 98 (L1), HA-NS-26 (L2), PH-BC2-74 (L3), VL-A-8 (L4), and HA-26-PR (L5). The seed was produced in the period from 2010 to 2012. Two seed variants were tested - non-treated seed and seed which was prior to application of biostimulators treated with metalaxyl-m. Prior to sowing, seed was treated with commercial preparations Slavol S, Bioplant Flora and the combination of the two. Results of this research point out that application of appropriate biostimulator has positive effect on growth and development of roots and shoots of seedling, while inadequate combination of biostimulators leads to inhibitory effect.
AB  - Cilj rada bio je da se ispita kako biostimulatori deluju na dužinu korena i nadzemnog dela ponika kada se pre setve njima tretira seme. Testiranje je sprovedeno u novosadskom Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo na semenu pet citoplazmatski muško sterilnih linija suncokreta: OCMS- 98 (L1), HA-NS-26 (L2), PH-BC2-74 (L3), VL-A-8 (L4) i HA-26-PR (L5) koje je proizvedeno u periodu od 2010.-2012. godine. Testirane su dve varijante semena: netretirano seme i seme koje je pre primene biostimulator a tretirano metalaksilom-m. Seme je pre setve tretirano komercijalnim preparatima Slavol S, Bioplant Flora i njihovom kombinacijom. Rezultati ovog istraživanja ukazuju da primena adekvatnog biostimulatora utiče pozitivno na rast i razvoj korena i nadzemnog dela ponika dok neadekvatna kombinacija biostimulatora dovodi do inhibitornog delovanja. Tretiranje semena pre setve preparatom BIOPLANT FLORA pokazalo je dobre rezultate obzirom da je koren ponika duži u proseku za 2,4 cm kod varijante koja je tretirana ovim preparatom odnosno za 2,2 cm kod varijante semena gde je osim biostimulatora upotrebljen i fungicid na bazi metalaksila-m. Ovaj preparat je imao najbolji uticaj i na dužinu nadzemnog dela ponika povećavši ga u proseku za 1,5 cm odnosno za 1,2 cm u odnosu na kontrolnu varijantu.

AB  - Chemical treatment of seed is a common crop protection measure. In the case of sunflower seed, fungicides are used regularly and insecticides at an increasing rate. In some cases, sunflower hybrid seed not planted in the first year is planted in the second or even third year after production. Seed vigour decreases gradually over time, which negatively affects seed emergence and subsequent plant growth and development. Seed with high vigour is expected to germinate quickly, producing seedlings that grow fast and uniformly. The objective of this study was to assess the effects of seed chemical treatment and storage length on seedling dry matter content in different sunflower hybrids. The study included several variants with fungicide and pesticide treatments and an untreated control. In the case of the hybrid NS-H-111, highest values of the studied characteristic were recorded in the control and directly after chemical treatment. In the case of the hybrid Sremac, the lowest value was recorded in seed treatment with benomyl+metalaxyl, highest in the treatments directly after chemical treatment and in seed stored for six months. In the case of the hybrid Šumadinac, highest values were recorded in the control and in seed treatment with fludioxonil+metalaxyl, the lowest in seed treatment with fludioxonil+metalaxyl+im idacloprid. Regarding the effect of different seed storage periods, highest values of the studied characteristic were recorded shortly after chemical treatment and in seed stored for six months.
AB  - Hemijski tretman semena je uobičajena mera u zaštiti semena ratarskih biljaka. Kod suncokreta se za tretman semena obavezno koriste fungicidi, a sve češće i insekticidi. Ponekad se seme koje ne ode u promet u godini tretmana pušta u promet naredne, a nekad čak i nakon dve godine. Vigor semena se u toku čuvanja postepeno smanjuje, što se nepovoljno odražava na klijanje, a kasnije i na rastenje i razviće. Od semena sa visokim vigorom može se očekivati da klija brže, a da ponik raste brže i ujednačenije. Cilj rada je bio da se ispita uticaj hemijskih tretmana i dužine čuvanja semena na suvu masu klijanaca hibrida suncokreta. U ispitivanje su bile uključene kombinacije sa fungicidima i insekticidima, kao i kontrola. Kod hibrida NS-H-111 najveće vrednosti ispitivanog parametra zabeležene su u kontrolnoj varijanti i kod početnog ispitivanja, dok je kod hibrida Sremac najmanja vrednost zabeležena je kod semena tretiranog sa B+M, a najveća kod početnog i ispitivanja nakon šest meseci. Suva masa klijanaca hibrida Šumadinac u kontroli i kod semena tretiranog sa F+M bila je najveća, dok je najmanja vrednost zabeležena kod semena tretiranog sa F+M+I. Kod ispitivanih dužina čuvanja najveće vrednosti zabeležene su na početnom i ispitivanju nakon šest meseci.

AB  - Seed treatment with fungicides and insecticides is very good way for plant protection according economic and ecological aspects. That is especially important in early way of plant growing. Treating of seed with fungicide and insecitide provide reduce using of pesticides comparing with treatment with sprayer in the field. Seed treatment is last phase of seed preparing for the sowing and seed treater is equipment for seed treating. In this paperwork are shown results of research which was done in 'Institute for field and vegetable crops' in Novi Sad. Aim of this research was to check percentage of pesticide active materials losses during sunflower seed treatment with two seed treaters (B-10 and CC-50). Results of this research will be base for measures propose which should reduce fungicide losses in the future. Analyses of active materials losses shown as that seed treater B-10 had bigger losses. This bigger losses was expected because seed treater CC-50 it technical improve and better treater then B-10. Analyze of pesticide active materials losses on different hybrids shown that the best results had seed of hybrid Duško. That is because hybrid Duško only have smoothness seed pericarp.
AB  - Tretiranje semena fungicidima i insekticidima predstavlja, s ekonomskog i ekološkog aspekta, povoljan način zaštite ratarskih kultura od bolesti i štetočina u ranim fazama razvoja biljaka. Nanošenjem na seme upotrebljava se znatno manja količina pesticida nego kada se radi o folijarnim ili tretmanima zemljišta po celoj površini ili u trake. Hemijsko tretiranje semena je završna faza dorade i vrši se na specijalnim uređajima za zaprašivanje semena - zaprašivačima. U ovom radu su prikazani rezultati komparativnog ispitivanja dva zaprašivača (B-10 i CC-50), koja se koriste u doradi hibridnog semena suncokreta 'Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo' u Novom Sadu. Ispitivanje je obavljeno na hibridima suncokreta Rimi PR, Duško, Baća i NS-H-111. Najbolji rezultat je ostvaren tretiranjem semena hibrida Duško je jedino taj hibrid ima gladak i nenaboran perikarpa pogodan za zaprašivanje. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da zaprašivač B-10 ostvaruje veće gubitke. Lošiji rezultat zaprašivača B-10 je posledica starije tehnologije i tehničkih karakteristika ovog zaprašivača u odnosu na drugi ispitivani zaprašivač CC-50.

Efficiency of seed treating and ecology advantages in oil seed rape treating

AB  - Protection of oil seed rape is very complex. Particular aspect is possibility of reduce pesticide application, especially insecticides applications using equipment for band treating with sowing or cultivation, furrow treating with tube pumps, pesticide application with distributor and seed treating. Seed treating is the best technical solution although expensive technology. Seed treating is final phase in seed processing and for that we need seed treater. Aim of this paperwork was to establish ecology advantages and quality of insecticides seed treating with treater. Quantity of insecitides per hectar is 0,03 do 0,04 l/ha, when we do seed treating. In this case there is only 3 % of soil contamination according 100 % of soil contamination when we use sprayers. Deviation of insecticides active materials for different oil seed rape sorts was from 1,28 to 2,9 %. That confirmation of seed treating quality together with ecology advantages put seed treating on the top of chemical protection measures.
AB  - Zaštita uljane repice zasniva se na korišćenju velikog broja mera za suzbijanja patogena i insekata. Kada se govori o hemijskim merama, poseban aspekt je analiza mogućnosti redukovane primene insekticida korišćenjem posebnih uređaja kao što su: uređaji za tretiranje u trake zajedno sa setvom ili kultivacijom, tretiranje u brazdicu sa peristaltik pumpom, depozitori za granulisane preparate i tretiranje semena. Tretiranje semena je najbolje tehnološko rešenje, iako je tehnologija nanošenja pesticida skupa. Hemijsko tretiranje semena je završna faza dorade i vrši se specijalnim uređajima za zaprašivanje semena koji se zovu zaprašivači. U slučaju tretiranja semena insekticidom količina istog se kreće po hektaru od 0,03 do 0,04 l/ha uz svega 3 % kontaminacije zemljišta u odnosu na 100 % kontaminacije kod primene tretiranja prskalicama. Odstupanje ravnomernosti nanošenja aktivne materije insekticida od željene vrednosti se kretalo u rasponu od 1,28 do 2,9 % što je potvrda kvaliteta ove hemijske mere, koja je uz pomenuti ekološki značaj stavlja na sam vrh hemijske zaštite bez obzira na nešto veću cenu koštanja.

abstract = "Protection of oil seed rape is very complex. Particular aspect is possibility of reduce pesticide application, especially insecticides applications using equipment for band treating with sowing or cultivation, furrow treating with tube pumps, pesticide application with distributor and seed treating. Seed treating is the best technical solution although expensive technology. Seed treating is final phase in seed processing and for that we need seed treater. Aim of this paperwork was to establish ecology advantages and quality of insecticides seed treating with treater. Quantity of insecitides per hectar is 0,03 do 0,04 l/ha, when we do seed treating. In this case there is only 3 % of soil contamination according 100 % of soil contamination when we use sprayers. Deviation of insecticides active materials for different oil seed rape sorts was from 1,28 to 2,9 %. That confirmation of seed treating quality together with ecology advantages put seed treating on the top of chemical protection measures., Zaštita uljane repice zasniva se na korišćenju velikog broja mera za suzbijanja patogena i insekata. Kada se govori o hemijskim merama, poseban aspekt je analiza mogućnosti redukovane primene insekticida korišćenjem posebnih uređaja kao što su: uređaji za tretiranje u trake zajedno sa setvom ili kultivacijom, tretiranje u brazdicu sa peristaltik pumpom, depozitori za granulisane preparate i tretiranje semena. Tretiranje semena je najbolje tehnološko rešenje, iako je tehnologija nanošenja pesticida skupa. Hemijsko tretiranje semena je završna faza dorade i vrši se specijalnim uređajima za zaprašivanje semena koji se zovu zaprašivači. U slučaju tretiranja semena insekticidom količina istog se kreće po hektaru od 0,03 do 0,04 l/ha uz svega 3 % kontaminacije zemljišta u odnosu na 100 % kontaminacije kod primene tretiranja prskalicama. Odstupanje ravnomernosti nanošenja aktivne materije insekticida od željene vrednosti se kretalo u rasponu od 1,28 do 2,9 % što je potvrda kvaliteta ove hemijske mere, koja je uz pomenuti ekološki značaj stavlja na sam vrh hemijske zaštite bez obzira na nešto veću cenu koštanja.",

AB  - Seed emergence under field conditions decisively and directly determines the number of plants per hectare, which is one of three basic components of yield in the plant world. Influence of chemical treatment on field emergence of three commercial sunflower hybrids stored in different conditions was tested in 2007 and 2008 on experimental field of Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad. On average, hybrid H1 had the highest value of field emergence (88.79%) and for chemical treatment fl udioxonil + metalaxyl + imidacloprid (87.71%). Seed kept in common storage had the highest emergence value in fi eld (87.92%). Seed treated with fl udioxonil + metalaxyl + imidacloprid and stored for one year in common storage had the highest field emergence (90.18%). Considering interaction between storage conditions and genotype, hybrid H1 seed sown after chemical treatment had the highest field emergence (91.82%) and seed kept in common storage (90.48%). Hybrid H1 seed compared with other two had the highest field emergence treated with fludioxonil + metalaxyl + imidacloprid (91.84%).
AB  - Ujednačeno nicanje u poljskim uslovima direktno određuje broj biljaka po hektaru, što je jedan od najvažnijih uslova za postizanje visokog prinosa suncokreta. Tokom 2007. i 2008. na oglednom polju Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo iz Novog Sada ispitivan je uticaj hemijskih tretmana na poljsko nicanje tri komercijalna hibrida suncokreta, čuvanih u različitim uslovima skladištenja. U proseku, najveća vrednost ispitivanog parametra bila je kod hibrida H1 (88,79%) i hemijskog tretmana fludioksonil + metalaksil + imidakloprid (87,71%). Takođe, najveće poljsko nicanje u proseku pokazalo je seme koje je čuvano u skladištu (87,92%). AB  - This paper reviews sunflower hybrid seed processing at Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops Novi Sad with all practical, technical and technological solutions. Additionally, efforts of Institute's employees are presented here in creating new technical solutions, particularly machines, aimed at their adaptations in existing sunflower seed processing, in order to get better quality and quantity of the processed seed. The paper also reviews original solution of the seed processing improvement with the new machines, regarding their position in the system and their connection in the semiautomatic operation system, with the possibility of independent operation. Seed processing results in high quality sunflower hybrid seed produced and ready for the severe market competition.
AB  - Ovaj rad prikazuje praktičnu realizaciju sistema dorade hibridnog semena suncokreta u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo Novi Sad zajedno sa tehničko-tehnološkim pozicionim rešenjima. U radu su napomenuti i doprinosi zaposlenih Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo Novi Sad u idejnom kreiranju novih tehničkih rešenja na pojedinim mašinama sa ciljem njihovog prilagođavanja doradi semena suncokreta u smislu boljeg kvaliteta i kvantiteta dorađenog semena. Rad prikazuje i originalno rešenje proširenja sistema dorade novim mašinama, sa aspekta njihove pozicije u samom sistemu, kao i priključenje u poluautomatski režim rada, sa mogućnošću autonomnosti u radu. Rezultat dorade je visokokvalitetno seme hibridnog suncokreta spremno za veoma oštru tržišnu konkurenciju. .

AB  - It is very important to keep the quality of the sunflower seed, which must be kept in the warehouses. The standard treatment of sunflower seed was treatment with the fungicide. New trend for the seed quality improvement is treatment with the insecticides as well. Seed germination energy of hybrid NS-H-111 that was kept in cooling chamber was higher then the energy of seed that was kept in the warehouse for the 4.31 %. This difference was statistically significant. Seed treated with fludioxonil + metalaxil + imidakloprid that was kept in the cooling chamber, has the higher germination energy for 13.5 % the then the seed kept in the warehouse. The difference was highly significant. Seed kept in the cooling chamber had, in average, higher germination for the 3.94 % in relation of the seed kept in the warehouse. In average, for Sremac hybrid, the highest values of seed germination were when the seed was kept in the warehouse. This difference wasn't statistically significant in relation to the other two examinations. The germination energy was higher at fludioxonil + metalaxil + tiametoxam treatment (93.75 %). Investigation of Sremac seed germination in different storage conditions, in average, hasn't any statistically significant effects. The highest germination was at treatment fludioxonil + metalaxil + tiametoxam and its amount was 94.92 %. This is statistically significant difference in relation to fludioxonil + metalaxil + imidakloprid treatment (for 5.09 %). Seed without treatment, which is kept in the cooling chamber, had the highest germination energy.
AB  - Hibridno seme suncokreta, koje je proizvedeno u jednoj godini, često se ne utroši za setvu u narednoj vegetaciji. U svim ovim slučajevima ono se mora čuvati u skladištima, pri tome treba očuvati kvalitete semena. Suncokret se standardno nakon dorade tretira fungicidima. Novi pravac u poboljšanju kvaliteta semenske robe je tretiranje hibridnog semena insekticidima. Energija klijanja semena hibrida NS-H-111 koje je čuvano u hladnoj komori bila je statistički značajno veća u odnosu seme iz skladišta za 4.31 %. Visoko signifikantna razlika ispoljila se kod tretmana fludioxonil+metalaxil+imidakloprid, gde je seme čuvano u hladnoj komori imalo energiju klijavosti veću za 13.5 % u odnosu na seme čuvano u skladištu. AB  - In modern agricultural production, high quality seed which germinates quickly and evenly in different environments is the main requirement for high yields. The research was carried out in the Laboratory for Seed Testing in Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad. Two cytoplasmic male sterile lines L-1 and L-2 were used for the research. Seed treatments with fungicides (benomil, metalaxyl and fludioxonil) and insecticides (tiametoxam and imidacloprid) were applied to evaluate effects of chemical treatments and storage duration on seedlings dry matter content. This treated seed was kept in a storage facility where all commercial seed is stored. The first assessment was done after the treatments and had been repeated every three months. Analysis of variance of the tested parameters showed statistically significant effects of chemical treatments and storage duration on seedling dry matter content in L-1 line. In line L-2, statistically significant effect of chemical treatment on seedling dry matter content was observed, whereas the effect of storage duration on seedlings dry matter content was highly significant. Double interactions were highly significant. .
AB  - U savremenoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji setva semena visokih kvaliteta, koje je sposobno da brzo i ujednačeno klija u različitim uslovima životne sredine, osnovni je preduslov za postizanje visokih prinosa. Istraživanja su obavljena u Laboratoriji za ispitivanje semena, Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo iz Novog Sada na semenu dve citoplazmatski muško sterilne forme linije majke: L-1 i L-2. Za ispitivanje uticaja hemijskog tretmana i dužine čuvanja na apsolutno suvu masu ponika seme je tretirano fungicidima: benomil, metalaksil i fludioksonil, kao i insekticidima: tiametoksam i imidakloprid i čuvano u skladištu koje se koristi za čuvanje komercijalnog semena. Ispitivanja su ponavljana svaka tri meseca, a početno ispitivanje je obavljeno neposredno nakon tretiranja semena. Analiza varijanse ispitivanih parametara ukazala je na postojanje statistički visoko značajnog uticaja hemijskog tretmana i dužine čuvanja na apsolutno suvu masu ponika linije L-1. Kod linije L-2 analiza varijanse ispitivanih parametara ukazala je na postojanje statistički značajnog uticaja hemijskog tretmana, a visoko značajnog dužine čuvanja na apsolutno suvu masu ponika. Dvojne interakcije bile su statistički visoko značajne. .

AB  - Corn seed has different tolerance on effects of different stress conditions. It was tested influence of salt concentration (NaCl) increasing in substratum and drought tolerance on the corn seedling length (PEG). For the salt tolerance it was used 7 different concentrations of NaCl and for drought tolerance 4 different concentration of PEG. The study shows what kind of influence has salt and drought stress on decreasing on length of corn seedling. The study shows the level of concentrations salt and drought stress has negatively influence on length of corn seedling and also how corn seedling is resistance on this stress. .
AB  - Seme kukuruza osetljivo je na pojedine stresne uslove koji se javljaju u prirodi. Ispitivan je uticaj povećanog sadržaja soli (primena NaCl) u supstratu, odnosno uticaj suše na dužinu klijanca kukuruza (primenom PEG-a). Za osetljivost na sušu upotrebljene su 4 različite koncentracije PEG-a, dok za osetljivost na prisustvo soli u supstratu 7 koncentracija NaCl-a. Zaključuje se da suša i povećan sadržaj soli utiču na smanjenje dužine korena i dužine stabaoceta klijanca. Testovi su pokazali koje su to koncentracije koje imaju negativan uticaj na porast klice i koliko je ona otporna na njih. Takođe istraživanje je pokazalo da ispitivano seme može podneti određene stresne uslove. .
