dc.description.abstractIn order to develop new single-cross sunflower hybrids with an altered plant model and a high genetic potential for seed yield and oil content, it is essential to study the combining ability's of the inbred lines. Full diallel crosses with six genetically divergent sunflower inbreeds were carried out in order to study the mode of inheritance and combining ability for plant height and head diameter in the F1 and F2 generations. Significant differences in the mean values for the traits concerned were observed. The most common mode of inheritance of plant height in the F1 and F2 generations was super dominance, and there were also instances of partial dominance and dominance. The mode of inheritance of head diameter in the F1 and F2 generations was dominance and super dominance. Highly significant GCA and SCA value, for plant height and head diameter were recorded. We found a line (NS-NDF) with negative GCA value that was also a good genera 1 combiner for reduced plant height and head diameter.en
dc.description.abstractZa stvaranje novih SC-hibrida suncokreta sa izmenjenim modelom biljke i visokim genetskim potencijalom za prinos semena i sadržaj ulja veoma je važno ispitati kombinacione sposobnosti inbred linija. U cilju praćenja načina nasleđivanja i kombinacionih sposobnosti visine biljke i prečnika glave suncokreta u F1, i F2 generaciji izvršena su dialelna ukrštanju, isključujući recipročna, sa šest genetski divergentnim inbred linijama suncokreta. Dobijene su signifikantne razlike u srednjim vrednostima za ispitivana svojstva. Najzastupljeniji način nasleđivanja visine biljke u F1 i F2 generaciji bila je super dominacija, a javila se i parcijalna dominacija i dominacija. Prečnik glave se nasleđivao dominantno i super dominantno u F1 i F2 generaciji. Dobijene su visoko značajne vrednosti OKS i PKS za visinu biljke i prečnik glave. Pronađena je linija NS-NDF sa negativnim vrednostima OKS, ali dobar opšti kombinator za skraćenje visine biljke i smanjenje prečnika glave suncokreta.sr
