A three-year small-plot trial (2001-2003) with spring vetch was established at the Rimski Šančevi Experiment Field of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad. Included in the trial were four genotypes from Novi Sad (the cultivars Beograd and Novi Beograd and lines L-10 and L-15) and two from Skopje (Skopje and Slavej). The greatest average plant height was found in L-10 (91 cm). The largest number of stems per plant was found in Skopje (4). Line L-10 had the largest plant mass (26.64 g) as well as stem mass (13.51 g) and leaf mass (10.06 g). The largest hay yield (6.63 t ha-1) and the highest dry matter portion (0.27 %) was found in Slavej (6.63 t ha-1). The cultivars from Skopje generally had smaller plant height and internode number but also a greater tendency towards branching and a higher dry matter content.
Trogodišnji (2001-2003) mikroogled sa jarom grahoricom bio je postavljen na oglednom polju Naučnog instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo na Rimskim Šančevima. U istraživanja su uključena četiri novosadska genotipa, sorte Beograd i Novi Beograd, kao i linije L-10 i L-15, i dve skopske sorte Skopje i Slavej. Najvećom prosečnom visinom biljke odlikovala se linija L-10 (91 cm), a sorta Skopje je je imala najveći broj stabala po biljci (4). Kod linije L-10 izmerene su i najveća masa biljke (26,6 g) i masa stabala (13,5 g) i listova (10,1 g). Najveći prinos sena (6,63 t ha-1) i najveći udeo suve materije (0,27 %) bio je kod sorte Slavej. Skopske sorte odlikovale su se načelno manjom visinom biljke i manjim brojem internodija, ali i izraženijom sklonošću ka grananju i većim sadržajem suve materije.
