abstract = "Plant production, based on scientific principles, and especially the application of fertilizers, enables the nutrition of the growing human population on the planet. However, intensive application of mineral fertilizers in agricultural production, especially nitrogen fertilizers, has led to environmental pollution. Primarily, nitrates and heavy metals accumulate in the soil, groundwater and plants. Also, the increased application of mineral fertilizers has a negative impact on the economic aspects of plant production. Mineral fertilizers are very expensive due to the reduced exploitation of fossil fuels, and the costs of fertilization in the total price of the cost of agricultural products range up to 25%.",
