AB  - The time of basic tillage and fertilization are very important agrotechnical measures that have a high impact on soybean yield. Winter basic tillage of the soil reduces the harvest yield by 8.53%, and spring tillage by 21.18%, the application of NPK fertilizers increased the yield by 13.96%, the foliar application of water extract from plant material by 9.57% and the application of AN by 8.44%. Autumn basic tillage is most conducive to achieving high and stable soybean yields, and fertilization has a positive effect on soybean yields.

AB  - ntenzivna biljna proizvodnja podrazumeva primenu novih tehnologija u cilju povećanja prinosa i kvaliteta biljnih proizvoda. Primena preparata na bazi efektivnih mikroorganizama EM Aktiv u proizvodnji soje statistički veoma značajno povećava prinos i ima statistički veoma značajan pozitivan uticaj na pojedine morfološke osobine biljaka poput visine biljke, broja mahuna i mase zrna po biljci, kao i mase 1000 semena.
AB  - Intensive plant production implies the application of new technologies with the aim of increasing the yield and quality of plant products. The use of preparations based on effective microorganisms EM Aktiv in soybean production significantly increases the yield and has a statistically significant positive effect on certain morphological characteristics of plants such as plant height, number of pods and weight of grains per plant, as well as weight of 1000 grains.

Effect of single and mixture of insecticides on earthworms: results from field and laboratory experiments

AB  - The aim of this study was to examine the effect of insecticides Talstar 10 EC (pyrethroid bifenthrin) and Nurelle D (mixture of organophosphorus and pyrethroid: chlorpyrifos and cypermethrin) on the life-cycle parameters (survival, growth, cocoons production, and hatching juveniles) of the non-target organism, earthworm Eisenia fetida (Savigny, 1826), in the laboratory and their impact on the natural earthworm population in agricultural field. The experiment was conducted from 2017 to 2019. The field experiment was performed at the Rimski Šančevi site, near Novi Sad, Serbia. The laboratory experiment was conducted according to the OECD guidelines. The earthworms were exposed to the artificial soil supplemented with different concentrations of the tested insecticides according to the recommended agricultural doses (RAD). The mixture of pesticides (Nurelle D) was found ecologically more dangerous to E. fetida than Talstar 10 EC. The 50% lethal concentration (LC50) values of both insecticides were higher than the highest concentration used in the experiment. Talstar 10 EC did not affect weight, but affected the production of cocoons and hatching juveniles, even at the RAD. The mixture of pesticides has shown toxicity after a long-time exposure, and it had an impact on the parameters of the life cycle. The results of the field experiment demonstrated that mixtures of pesticides are more toxic than single-component ones. This points out that the chemicals must be used with the maximum responsibility. Information about long-term effects can be important for understanding the field experiment data, which typically show a high variability and, therefore, are difficult to interpret.

AB  - Visoki prinosi i stabilna proizvodnja soje pod direktnim su uticajem količine i rasporeda padavina, dostupnosti hraniva biljkama i pravovremenosti primene agrotehničkih mera. Cilj ovih istraživanja je ispitivanje uticaja vremena osnovne obrade i folijarne primene đubriva na visinu prinosa soje. Zimska osnovna obrada zemljišta smanjuje prinos soje u proseku za 4,07%, odnosno od 2,16% do 5,57% u različitim godinama, dok prolećna osnovna obrada smanjuje prinos za 11,20% (od 6,11% do 18,06%). Folijarna primena đubriva povećava prinos u proseku za 4,76%, a povećanje se kretalo od 1,27% pri jesenjoj osnovnoj obradi u 2020. godini do 8,40% pri prolećnoj osnovnoj obradi u 2019. godini.
AB  - High yields and stability of soybean production are directly affected by the amount and distribution of precipitation, available nutrients, and moment of agrotechnical measures application. This research aimed to examine the effect of primary tillage moment and foliar fertilization on soybean yield. Winter tillage reduced the soybean yield by 2.16% ̶5.57% in different years, 4.07% on average, while spring tillage reduced yield by 11.20% on average (6.11% ̶18.06%). Foliar fertilization increased yield by 4.76% on average, the increase ranged from 1.27% when autumn tillage was applied in 2020 to 8.40% when tillage was conducted in spring of 2019.

AB  - The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of aqueous extracts of different plant species on the grain and protein yield of soybean. The testing was conducted at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad on the seeds of the NS Apolo variety. The aqueous extracts of the above-ground part of nettle, the above-ground part of nettle and comfrey, whole banana fruit, banana peel, onion bulbs leaves, the top parts of willow twigs and the top parts of soybean plants were foliarly applied. In addition to the untreated control variant, the experiment also included a distilled water control. Control with distilled water was to show whether the effect of aqueous plant extracts was due to plant material or just water. The results of the experiment showed that the use of aqueous extracts contributed to the increase in grain and protein yield. The increase in grain yield ranged from 9.48% to 15.34%, and the increase in protein yield from 9.31% to 16.16%. The best effect was achieved by applying the aqueous extract of the whole banana fruit and the aqueous extract of the mix of nettle and comfrey. By applying them each year, a significantly higher yield was achieved in relation to the control with distilled water.
AB  - Cilj ovog rada je bio da se ispita uticaj vodenih biljnih ekstrakata na prinos zrna i proteina kod soje. Ispitivanje je obavljeno u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu na sorti NS Apolo. Za folijarnu primenu korišćeni su vodeni ekstrakti: nadzemnog dela koprive, nadzemnog dela koprive i gaveza, ceo plod banane, kora banane, listovi lukovice crnog luka, vršni delovi grančica vrbe i vršni delovi biljaka soje. Pored kontrolne varijante, eksperiment je uključivao i kontrolu – destilovanu vodu. Kontrola destilovanom vodom će pokazati da li je efekat vodenih biljnih ekstrakata posledica biljnog materijala ili vode. Rezultati analize su pokazali da je upotreba vodenih ekstrakata doprinela povećanju prinosa zrna i prinosa proteina. Povećanje prinosa kretalo se od 9,48% do 15,34%, a povećanje prinosa proteina od 9,31% do 16,16%. Najbolji efekat je postignut primenom vodenog ekstrakta celog ploda banane i vodenog ekstrakta koprive i gaveza. Njihovom primenom svake godine postignut je znatno veći prinos u odnosu na kontrolu vodom.

The best effect was achieved by applying the aqueous extract of the whole banana fruit and the aqueous extract of the mix of nettle and comfrey. By applying them each year, a significantly higher yield was achieved in relation to the control with distilled water., Cilj ovog rada je bio da se ispita uticaj vodenih biljnih ekstrakata na prinos zrna i proteina kod soje. Ispitivanje je obavljeno u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu na sorti NS Apolo. Za folijarnu primenu korišćeni su vodeni ekstrakti: nadzemnog dela koprive, nadzemnog dela koprive i gaveza, ceo plod banane, kora banane, listovi lukovice crnog luka, vršni delovi grančica vrbe i vršni delovi biljaka soje. Pored kontrolne varijante, eksperiment je uključivao i kontrolu – destilovanu vodu. Kontrola destilovanom vodom će pokazati da li je efekat vodenih biljnih ekstrakata posledica biljnog materijala ili vode. Rezultati analize su pokazali da je upotreba vodenih ekstrakata doprinela povećanju prinosa zrna i prinosa proteina. Povećanje prinosa kretalo se od 9,48% do 15,34%, a povećanje prinosa proteina od 9,31% do 16,16%. Najbolji efekat je postignut primenom vodenog ekstrakta celog ploda banane i vodenog ekstrakta koprive i gaveza. Njihovom primenom svake godine postignut je znatno veći prinos u odnosu na kontrolu vodom.",

AB  - Cilj rada bio je da se ispita da li potapanje semena može da poboljša
klijavost semena soje u nepovoljnim uslovima, odnosno na nižoj
temperaturi. Za istraživanje je korišćeno seme sorte soje NS Apolo, koja
je selekcionisana na Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu.
Seme je potapano u različite rastvore: kalijum nitrat - KNO3 (1%),
askorbinska kiselina - AsA (100 mg l-1) i kalijum hlorid - KCl (1%).
Nakon sušenja, seme je naklijavano na temperaturi 10°C, dok je seme
naklijavano na optimalnoj temperaturi od 25°C poslužilo kao kontrola.
Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da je potapanje semena pre setve
poboljšalo energiju klijanja, klijavost semena i brzinu klijanja u uslovima
niske temperature.
Upotreba rastvora KNO3 i AsA bila je efekasnija od primene rastvora
KCl u uslovima niže temperature. Rastvor KNO3 i AsA su značajnije
uticali na povećanje klijavosti i energije klijanja.
AB  - The aim of this study was to examine whether priming seeds can improve the germination of soybean seeds in unfavorable conditions, i.e. at a lower temperature. For the research, the seeds of the NS Apolo soybean variety, which were selected at the Institute of Agriculture and Vegetables in Novi Sad, were used. The seeds were primed in different solutions: potassium nitrate - KNO3 (1%), ascorbic acid - AsA (100 mg l- 1) and potassium chloride - KCl (1%). After drying, the seeds were germinated at a temperature of 10°C, while the seeds germinated at an optimal temperature of 25°C served as a control. The research results showed that priming the seeds before sowing improved germination energy, seed germination and germination rate under low temperature conditions. The use of KNO3 and AsA solution was more effective than the use of KCl solution under lower temperature conditions. The solution of KNO3 and AsA significantly influenced the increase in germination and germination energy.

AB  - Primena različitih mikrobioloških preparata sve više je prisutna u poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji, jer utiču na stabilniju proizvodnju i zaštitu životne sredine. U radu je analiziran uticaj mikrobioloških preparata i to: preparat sa efektivnim mikroorganizmima i preparat sa sporama gljive Trichoderme atroviride na masu 1000 zrna i visinu prinosa zrna pasulja. Oba preparata u ogledu su značajno uticali na ispitivane osobine kod dve sorte pasulja Zlatko i Maksa. Efektivni mikroorganizmi, primenjeni u zemljištu i folijarno u toku vegetacije, uticali su da je masa 1000 zrna bila veća za 16,94%, a primena efektivnih mikroorganizama samo u zemljište je povećala prinos zrna pasulja za 46,02% u odnosu na kontrolu. Primena preparata sa Tr. atroviride je za 17,13% povećala masu 1000 zrna, a prinos za 56,58 %.
AB  - The application of various microbiological preparations is increasingly present in agricultural production, because they affect more stable production and environmental protection. The paper analyzed the influence of microbiological preparations, namely: a preparation with effective microorganisms and a preparation with spores of the fungus Trichoderma atroviride on the weight of 1000 seeds and the grain yield of bean. Both preparations in the experiment had a significant effect on the tested properties of two varieties of beans, Zlatko and Maksa. Effective microorganisms applied to the soil and foliar during the growing season had the effect that the weight of 1000 grains was greater by 16.94%, and the application of effective microorganisms only to the soil increased the bean grain yield by 46.02 % compared to the control. Application of preparations with Tr. atroviride increased the mass of 1000 grains by 17.13 %, and the yield by 56.58 %.

AB  - Maize is grown in different regions, in the era of climate change, research aimed at achieving stable grain yields is very important. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of zinc application on yield and leaf mass area of three maize genotypes. The experimental experiment was set up in the region of Mačva (ΨN 44 ° 36 ′ 31.8 ″, λE 19 ° 47′4.2 ″). For plant nutrition, the following is provided: 160 kg ha-1 nitrogen (30 kg ha-1 in basic cultivation, 90 kg ha-1 in pre-sowing and 40 kg ha-1 in top-dressing). The research was conducted in the period 2017-2018. years (factor A). Sowing was done in the first decade of April with three hybrids ZP 724, ZP 548, ZP 687 (factor B). In addition to control, zinc treatments were applied: Zn1 ZnSO4 25 kg ha-1 was introduced into the soil before sowing; Zn2 seed treatment + foliar treatment. Before sowing, 63 grains were immersed for 24 h in aqueous ZnSO4 solution (0.129 g and supplemented with 200 ml of water). Foliar treatments in the phenophase of 5-7 leaves with 2 l ha-1 liquid fertilizer (7% Zn).

AB  - Maize production is intensified with a larger amount of mineral fertilisers in the era of meteorological conditions change, which leads to a decrease in the reserves of microelements in the soil. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of zinc application on grain yield, nitrogen and carbon content in grain of three maize genotypes in the period 2016–2018 (factor A). Factor B: cultivars ZP 427, ZP 548 and ZP 687 belonging to different maturation groups. Factor C: Various zinc treatments were applied: T1 – control; T2 – 25 kg Zn2+/ha (35 g of ZnSO4 on the experimental plot) was introduced into the soil before sowing; T3 – seed treatment (0.129 g of ZnSO4 • 7 H2O) +
foliar treatment (2 L/ha liquid fertiliser 7% Zn2+). The average yield for all examined variables was 7.33 t/ha. On average, T2 (8.08 t/ha) treatment showed a highly significant effect on the yield in relation to T1 (7.03 t/ha) and on T3 (7.21 t/ha). On average, the amount of nitrogen determined for all cultivars was the highest in T3 (1.52%). The highest carbon content was in T1 (41.78%), which is at the level of significance of P < 0.01 more than T2 (41.46%), while in relation to T3 (40.99%) there is no significance.

Foliar application of aqueous extract of banana fruit increased soybean yield by 18.07%, protein content by 1.64%, reduced oil content by 0.22%, increased protein yield by 19.87% and oil yield by 16.58%, while the use of aqueous extract of nettle and comfrey increased soybean yield by 17.55%, protein content by 1.70%, decreased oil content by 1.44%, increased protein yield by 19.39% and oil yield by 15.93 %. Foliar application of water increased the oil content by 1.62%, and water extract of nettle by 1.17%.

AB  - The research was carried out in three vegetative seasons 2015/16, 2016/17, and 2018/19, on an experimental plot in Padinska Skela, Belgrade, Serbia. The supplement included four NPK treatments (kg ha−1) and foliar treatment with effective microorganisms (EM 7 l ha−1) T1-129: 60: 60; T2-129: 60: 60 + 1 EM; T3-106: 60: 60 + 2 EM ; T4-83: 60: 60 + 3 EM. Four wheat genotypes were sown (Ratarica, Pobeda, Nogal, and Apache). Thousand grain weight and grain yield were determined. The thousand grain weight (TGW) was in the variety Pobeda 43.73 g, and the highest grain yield was in the variety Ratarica 7.02 tha−1. Both varieties are medium late, bread varieties. The treatments have different effects on the studied variables. The TGW was the highest in the T2 treatment of 40.81 g and the grain yield in T3 of 6.62 t ha−1, which was at the level of statistical significance of p > 0.01. The crude protein content was highest in the treatment of T2 13.93% (p > 0.01).
