U radu se ukazuje na mogućnosti primene nižih i viših biljaka u prečišćavanju zagađenih zemljišta i voda. Sa ulaskom zagađujućih supstanci i patogenih mikroorganizama u biljke značajno se smanjuje zagađenost zemljišta, voda i mulja i na taj način onemogućava da isti, preko lanaca ishrane, dospeju u organizam životinja i čoveka.
The paper points to the potential use of lower and higher plants and remediation of
contaminated soil and water. With the entry of contaminants and pathogenic
microorganisms in plants contamination of soil, water and sludge is significantly
reduced, and thus prevents that the same, via the food chain, reach the organism of
animals and humans.
