Effects of desiccation times on yield and 1000-seed weight in sunflower

Different chemical desiccation dates in seed sunflower and their effects on seed yield and 1000-seed weight of four different genotypes over a three-year period were observed in the present study. The Reglone preparation was used as a desiccant at a concentration of 1%. The treatments were performed at 7-day intervals during maturity. The lowest average seed yield (770 kg ha-1) was found in the treatment seven days after flowering (DAF) and the highest 21 days after flowering (1,202 kg ha-1). A certain decline was also observed in the control in later treatment dates. The highest, i.e. lowest yield was produced by NS-H-26 RM, i.e. NS-H-43 respectively. Different genotypes responded differently to particular treatments, and differences were also found among the years of study. The smallest 1000-seed weight was recorded on the first treatment date (48.45 g) and the highest in the control treatment (62.93 g). Significant differences were found among the genotypes, as well as, study years.
Ispitivan je uticaj različitih rokova izvođenja hemijske desikacije na semenskom suncokretu u toku sazrevanja na prinos i masu 1000 semena kod četiri različita genotipa u tri godine ispitivanja. Kao desikant je korišćen preparat Reglone u koncentraciji od 1%. Tretiranja su vršena tokom dozrevanja, svakih 7 dana. Najmanji prosečan prinos semena (770 kg ha-1) zabeležen je u tretmanu 7 dana po cvetanju (DPC) a najveći 21 DPC (1.202 kg ha-1). Zapažen je i izvestan pad prinosa kod kontrole u odnosu na poznije rokove tretiranja. Najveći prinos ostvario je hibrid NS-H-26 RM, a najmanji NS-H-43. Različiti genotipovi različito su reagovali na pojedine tretmane, a razlike su uočene i između godina ispitivanja. Najmanja masa 1000 semena utvrđena je u prvom roku tretiranja (48,45 g), a najveća u kontrolnoj varijanti (62,93 g). Zabeležene su značajne razlike u masi 1000 semena između genotipova, kao i između godina ispitivanja.
