Inheritance of yield and yield component in pepper hybrids (Capsicum annuum L.)
Nasleđivanje prinosa i komponenti prinosa hibrida paprike (Capsicum annuum L.)

This study has been undertaken to examine the modes of inheritance for yield and yield components (fruit number and mass) in pepper hybrids. It included seven female lines and three varieties which served as male lines (testers). This material was crossed by the 'line x tester' method. Following conclusions were drawn. The studied lines and varieties differed significantly in yield and yield components per plant. The variety Matica had the largest number of fruits per plant, the variety anita the highest fruit mass, and the variety Atina the highest yield per plant. L-3 had th elowest values of all three parameters. Heterosis and dominance of the better parent were the prevalent modes of inheritance of yield and yield components. Intermediate mode of inheritance of fruit mass and yield was registered in several cross combination. It is an indication that both additive and nonadditive genes control the inheritance of these characteristics. .
U raduje ispitan način nasleđivanja prinosa i komponenti prinosa (broja plodova i težine ploda) kod hibrida paprike. Za ova istraživanja odabrano je 7 linija kao majke i 3 sorte kao očevi (testeri). Na osnovu dobijenih podataka u nasleđivanju prinosa i komponenti prinosa kod većine kombinacija ispoljila se heterozis, dominacija i intermedijarnost, što znači da u nasleđivanju ovih svojstava učestvuju pored neaditivnih i aditivni geni. .
