Effect of planting date on oil content in sunflower

Uticaj rokova setve na sadržaj ulja suncokreta

Abstract
In order to investigate the main effects (hybrid, planting date) and interaction (hybrid × planting date) a three year experiment (2005, 2006, 2007) was carried out. Three hybrids (Miro, Rimi, Pobednik) and eight planting dates were included in the experiment. AMMI (Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction) model was performed, which evaluates main effects and also interaction. The interaction was detected by using AMMI1 biplot. Oil content was predominantly influenced by hybrids (69,6%), after that by the year of investigation (10.3%) and by planting date (6.8%). All interactions, excludinig second degree interaction, were highly significant. AMMI ANOVA showed highly significant differences only for first principal component (IPC1). Hybrids Miro and Pobednik had significantly higher oil con tent in relation to Rimi. Planting dates showed also significant effects on oil content. Hybrid Miro showed highest stability for oil yield. Graphical presentation of AMMI1 in the form ...of biplot could faciliate the choice of stable hybrids and planting dates for de sired characters in sunflower.

U cilju ispitivanja glavnih efekata (hibrid, rok setve) i interakcje (hibrid × rok setve) za sadržaj ulja suncokreta, izveden je trogodišnji eksperiment (2005, 2006, 2007). U ogled su bila uključena tri hibrida (Miro, Rimi, Pobednik) i osam rokova setve. Primenjen je AMMI (Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction) model koji osim glavnih efekata (hibrid, rok setve) otkriva i interakciju. Interakcija je prikazana pomoću AMMI1 biplota. Sadržaj ulja bio je u najvećoj meri pod uticajem hibrida (69,6%), godine ispitivanja (10,3%) i roka setve (6,8%). Sve interakcije, izuzev interakcije drugog reda, pokazale su značajnost. AMMI ANOVA pokazala je visoku značajnost samo prve glavne komponente (IPC1). Hibridi Miro i Pobednik imali značajno veći sadržaj ulja u odnosu na Rimi. I rokovi setve imali su značajnog uticaja na sadržaj ulja. Najveću stabilnost za sadržaj ulja imao je hibrid Miro. Grafički prikaz AMMI1 u obliku biplota omogućava izbor stabilnih hibrida i rokova setve za požel...jne osobine suncokreta.
