The effectiveness of resistance genes derived from Aegilops spp. to wheat rusts

Prikazana je efikasnost nekih Sr i Lr gena otpornosti koji potiču od Aegilops prema različitim palotipovima prouzrokovača stabljične i lisne rđe pšenice u nas. lstaknuta je visoka efikasnost Sr32 i Sr33 gena u fazi sejanaca, kao i njihova nedovoljna efikasnost u fazi odraslih biljaka u Kragujevcu i Zaječaru. Prema prouzrokovaču lisne rđe efikasan je bio jedino gen Lr9, dok su geni Lr2 I i Lr22 bili neefikasni u Novom Sadu i srednje efikasni u Kragujevcu.
In this paper resistance of nearly isogenic lines with genes Sr32. Sr33, Lr9, Lr'21 and Lr'22 derived from Ac. squarrosa and Ae. umbellulata is presented. The genes Sr32 and Sr33 showed good effectiveness lo different pathotypes of wheat stem rust in seedling stage. But. in adult stage lines with this genes were moderately resistant to very susceptible in Kragujevac and Zaječar The most effective was gene Lr9. In our population of wheal leaf rust there is no alleles of virulence to this gene. The lines with other two genes (Lr'2: and Lr22) were susceptible in Novi Sad and moderately susceptible in Kragujevac.
