Frequency of virulence genes to wheat powdery mildew in the north-west part of Bosnia

Među patogenima pšenice na području BiH značajno mesto zauzima prouzrokovač pepelnice pšenice. Zbog svoje efikasnosti ekonomičnosti i ekološke opravdanosti, zaštita gajenjem otpornih sorti ima prvorazredni značaj. Međutim, preduslov za uspešnu selekciju pšenice prema prouzrokovaču pepelnice je poznavanje virulentnosti populacije parazita i učestalost gena virulentnosti u njoj.
This paper schows results of frequency and number genes virulence in pathotyps of the Bhuneria graminis f. sp. tritici in north-west part of Bosnia in period from 1997 to 1999 years. Tbe biggest freguency was for genes virulence V-7 (98,2%), V-8 (95,3%), V-3c (92,4%) i V- 3a (88,3%) and the least for: V-2+4b+6 (8,7%) and V-5+6 (3,3%).The middle freguency (50- 0%) was for genes V-4a, V-4b, V-3b i V-6. Number virulence genes of pathotyps was from to 19 and the biggest number had 12-17 genes virulence.
