High soybean yields require the harmony of all production factors. In practical terms, this means the right choices in selecting the plot and the most suitable crop rotation, then timely apply tillage measures, fertilizer, and, if necessary, weed control, variety and its needs in terms of plant density, nutrient requirements, and the depth and timing of sowing, so that edaphic, climatic, and genetic factors can all be broughy into harmony with the help of cultural practices. Carefully selected, and through the years proven cultural practices should be used to attain high yields, making sure that the fertility of the soil is maintained as well. Neglecting basic requirements in terms of cultural practices or reducing certain measures will inevitably lead to yield losses.
