The possibilities of F1 interspecies hybrid production in the genus Helianthus L.

Abstract
This paper shows the results of crosses made in 2001 and 2002. Wild species were crossed to cultivated sunflower lines by a conventional method. Pollen used for crossing was collected from seven annual and 17 perennial species. Hybrid combinations with six annual and 10 perennial species produced seed. F1 plants show intermediate phenotype traits. F1 seeds germinate poorly and the adaptability of plants is low. Except for the cross to NEG1181 all hybrid combinations obtained in 2001 had their fertility restored.
U ovom radu su predstavljeni rezultati ukrštanja izvedenih u 2001. i 2002 godini. Divlje vrste su ukrštane klasičnim metodom sa linijama gajenog suncokreta. Korišćen je polen 7 jednogodišnjih i 17 višegodišnjih vrsta. Dobijeno je seme iz ukrštanja 6 jednogodišnjih i 10 višegodišnjih vrsta sa gajenim suncokretom. F1 biljke se odlikuju intermedijernim fenotipskim karakteristikama. F1 seme ima slabu klijavost, a biljke sniženu adaptivnu vrednost. Osim pri ukrštanju sa populacijom NEG1181, kod svih hibridnih kombinacija iz 2001. godine došlo je do restauracije muške fertilnosti.
