Genetic analysis of broomcorn yield components
Genetička analiza komponenti prinosa sirka metlaša
Apstrakt
Inheritance of mass of untreshed panicle and mass of seed per panicle in inbred lines of broomcorn and their FI hybrids were investigated. A diallel analysis (5 χ 5) method was used. The results indicate that nonaditive gene action prevails in yield expression of both examine characteristics, whereas dominant gene action (superdominance) play more important role. Lines with best combining ability (Jumak and 100-3) can be used like a parents in breeding broomcorn for yield, even with lines which had lower combining ability.
Urađena je genetička analiza mase neovršene metlice i mase zrna po metlici odabranih inbred linija sirka metlaša i njihovih Fl hibrida. U ispitivanjima je primenjena dialelna analiza (5 χ 5). Rezultati ukazuju na veći značaj neaditivnog delovanja gena u ispoljavanju obe osobine. Pri tome odlučujuću ulogu ima dominantno delovanje gena, odnosno superdominancija. Linije sa najboljim kombinacionim sposobnostima Jumak i 100-3 se mogu koristiti kao roditelji u oplemenjivanju sirka metlaša na povećani prinos, i u kombinaciji sa linijama koje imaju slabije kombinacione sposobnosti.
