AB  - Increasing market demands for the production of safe foods pose the need for the application of preventive measures in combat against harmful organisms. Another very important demand in food production is environment protection. Most of the vegetable production is situated in the suburban areas. The paper includes the review of preventive cultivation practices in vegetable production which are an important factor for environment-friendly vegetable crop production.
AB  - Sve veći zahtevi tržišta za proizvodnjom zdravstveno bezbedne hrane predstavljaju potrebu primene preventivnih mera u borbi protiv štetnih organizama. Još jedan veoma važan zahtev prilikom proizvodnje hrane je očuvanje životne sredine. Najveći deo proizvodnje povrća nalazi se u prigradskim naseljima. U radu je dat pregled preventivnih mera koje su važan faktor za zdravstveno bezbednu proizvodnju povrća, kao i za očuvanje životne sredine u prigradskim područjima.
