AB  - Rejonizacija sorti soje ima cilj da se za pojedine lokalitete gajenja odaberu one
sorte koje će u datim agroekološkim uslovima ostvariti maksimalne prinose uz
minimalna variranja u različitim godinama. Cilj ovoga rada je sagledavanje prinosa,
sadržaja proteina i ulja, kao i prinosa proteina i ulja po jedinici površine NS sorti soje
u 2020. godini. Sorta soje NS Kraljica ostvarila je najviši prinos zrna (3641 kg ha-1),
sorta Rubin najviši sadržaj proteina (40,4%), a sorte NS Atlas i NS Kraljica najviši
sadržaj ulja (22,2%), dok je najviši prinos proteina (1403 kg ha-1) i ulja (801 kg ha-1)
po jedinici površine ostvaren sa sortom soje NS Kraljica
AB  - The zoning of soybean varieties aims to select individual cultivation sites those
varieties that will achieve maximum yields in the given agro-ecological conditions
with minimal variations in different years. The aim of this research is to examine the
yield, the content of proteins and oils, and the yield of proteins and oils per unit of
NS varieties in 2020. The NS Kraljica variety had the greatest grain yield (3641 kg
ha-1), the Rubin variety had the greatest protein content (40.4%), the NS Atlas, and
NS Kraljica variety was the greatest oil content (22.2%), while the highest protein
yield (1403 kg ha-1) and oil (801 kg ha-1) per unit area realized with the variety NS
Kraljica soybean.

Specifics of soybean seed production and processing in 2019

AB  - The soybean harvest in 2019 began at the end of August. The quality of the natural seed was very high. The moisture content of the harvested seeds ranged from 7.1 % to 14.1 %. Thanks to this humidity, there was no need to dry the seeds, which is very important given the fact that drying soybeans can reduce the quality. Seed germination ranged between 82 % and 96 %. It should be noted that 97 % of seeds were harvested with germination greater than 85 % while about 65 % of seeds had germination above 90 %. The weight of 1000 grains averaged about 160 g. Soybean seed processing started on time and without major problems. The purity of the processed seed was on average 99.4 %. Of the total amount of processed seeds, about 72 % of seeds had germination greater than 85 %. The achieved seed quality was better compared to the one in 2018.
AB  - Iako su proizvodnju soje u 2019. godini pratili brojni problemi, na kraju možemo da kažemo da je bila uspešna kako po zasejanim površinama tako i po ostvarenom prinosu. Žetva soje započela je krajem avgusta. Prijem semena u doradnim centrima obavljen je bez većih problema zahvaljujući dobro pripremljenoj opremi i dobroj organizaciji prijema semena. Kvalitet naturalnog semena bio je veoma dobar sa zanemarljivo malim prisustvom zelenih i nedozrelih zrna. Vlažnost požnjevenog semena bila je u rasponu od 7,1% do 14,1% dok je oko 65% semena zaprimljeno sa vlažnošću iznad 10%. Zahvaljujući ovakvoj vlažnosti, nije bilo potrebe za sušenjem semena što je jako važno s obzirom na činjenicu da se sušenjem soje kvalitet može smanjiti. Klijavost semena, kao najvažniji parametar kvaliteta, bila je u rasponu između 82% i 96%. Treba istaći da je 97% semena požnjeveno sa klijavošću većom od 85% dok je oko 65% semena imalo klijavost iznad 90%. Masa 1000 zrna u proseku je iznosila oko 160 g. Na osnovu zaprimljenih količina semena u doradnim centrima može se reći da će količina semena nakon dorade biti dovoljna za setvu soje u 2020. godini. Dorada semena soje počela je na vreme i bez većih problema. Ostvarena čistoća dorađenog semena bila je u proseku 99,4%. Od ukupne količine dorađenog semena oko 72% semena imalo je klijavost veću od 85%, dok je oko 50% semena imalo klijavost iznad 90%. Ostvareni kvalitet semena bio je bolji u odnosu na 2018. godinu.

AB  - Compared to the 2016 growing season, in which the record soybean production was achieved owing to exceptional environmental conditions, the 2017 growing season cannot be considered favourable to soybean seed production. The start of the 2017 growing season was marked by heavy rainfall and the air temperature levels at a multi-year average. Conversely, dry weather with high air temperatures at the time of pod formation and subsequent seed filling had a negative effect on yield formation, resulting in an average soybean yield of about 1.5 t/ha, i.e. more than 50 % lower than the yield obtained in 2016. The 2017 soybean harvest started in late August and ended during September. The seed moisture recorded in post-harvest seeds ranged from 7.1 % to 13.9 %. Seed germination ability was found to be greater than 85 % in most of the post-harvest seeds. Soybean seed processing has been carried out in a timely manner, without major disturbances.
AB  - Za razliku od rekordne proizvodnje soje u 2016. godini, koju su pratili izuzetno povoljni klimatski uslovi spoljne sredine, za 2017. ne može se reći da je pogodovala proizvodnji ove biljne vrste. Zbog veoma hladnog i kišnog proleća, period klijanja i nicanja značajno je produžen, međutim, zahvaljujući kvalitetnom semenu, usevi su dobro ponikli, pri čemu su ostvareni željeni sklopovi. Početak vegetacionog perioda obeležen je obilnijim padavinama i temperaturom vazduha koja je bila na nivou višegodišnjeg proseka. Međutim, period formiranja mahuna i kasnije nalivanja semena (kritični period) bio je sušan i praćen visokim temperaturama vazduha, što je imalo negativne posledice po formiranje prinosa. Zbog toga je ostvareni prosečni prinos soje od oko 1,5 t/ha bio manji za više od 50% u odnosu na 2016. godinu. Žetva soje započela je krajem avgusta meseca, a ovaj posao završen je tokom septembra. Vlažnost požnjevenog semena bila je u rasponu od 7,1% do 13,9%. Ipak, najveći deo semena zaprimljen je u doranim centrima sa vlažnošću između 9% i 12%, što je jako važno s obzirom na mehaničke osobine semena soje. Najveći deo semena požnjeven je sa klijavošću većom od 85%. Na kraju, može se zaključiti da je ostvareni kvalitet naturalnog semena dobar, a da će požnjevena količina semena nakon dorade biti dovoljna za setvu soje u 2018. godini. Dorada semena soje počela je na vreme i bez većih problema. Prve analize kvaliteta dorađenog semena potvrđuju očekivanja da će proizvođači soje ove godine imati na raspolaganju kvalitetno seme.

Seed germination and seedling growth of oilrape under saline stress conditions

AB  - Oilrape is used for human consumption, domestic animal consumption, for biodiesel production, as bee pasture and as an important green manure. This crop is tolerant to many soil types (including saline soils) in the growing regions across the globe. Testing was done on three oilrape winter varieties: Ana, Slavica and Ilia. The influence of salinity on seed quality was determined after the harvest using standard laboratory methods under laboratory conditions. Seed germination in the control ranged from 92.75 % do 96 %. As NaCl concentration increased from 150 mmol/l to 250 mmol/l, germination decreased, and statistically the lowest values were obtained at the concentration of 300 mmol/l in Slavica and Ilija varieties (57-84 %). In all studied genotypes, the first seedlings emerged after three days of testing in the control and at NaCl concentrations of 75 mmol/l, 100 mmol/l, 150 mmol/l and 200 mmol/l. The seed germinated on the medium moisturized with 250 mmol/l NaCl started to germinate after four days of testing, while the seed germinated on the medium moisturized with 300 mmol/l NaCl started germination after five days. The length of seedlings was statistically the most significant in the control in all three varieties. Statistically the lowest values were obtained in the seedlings at NaCl concentration of 300 mmol/l. For successful production under stress conditions, adaptable genotypes which have pronounced positive interaction with environmental conditions should be chosen.
AB  - Uljana repica je biljna vrsta koja je tolerantna na mnoge tipove zemljišta u regionima gajenja širom sveta, koja dobro podnosi zaslanjena zemljišta. Ispitivanja su izvedena na tri sorte ozime uljane repice: Ana, Slavica i Ilia. Nakon žetve, utvrđen je uticaj zaslanjenosti na kvalitet semena primenom standardnog laboratorijskog metoda. Filter papir je kvašen destilovanom vodom (kontrola) i različitim koncentracijama NaCl (75 mmol/l, 100 mmol/l, 150 mmol/l, 200 mmol/l, 250 mmol/l i 300 mmol/l). Nakon 7 dana utvrđeni su klijavost semena, brzina klijanja semena i dužina ponika. Klijavost semena u kontroli se kretala od 92.75% do 96%. Sa povećanjem koncentracije NaCl od 150 mmol/l do 250 mmol/l klijavost se smanjivala i statistički najniže vrednosti dobijene su na koncentraciji od 300 mmol/l kod sorti Slavica i Ilija (57%-84%). Kod svih ispitivanih genotipova prvi klijanci su se pojavili nakon tri dana ispitivanja i to u kontroli i na koncentracijama NaCl od 75 mmol/l, 100 mmol/l, 150 mmol/l i 200 mmol/l . Seme naklijavano na podlozi kvašenoj sa 250 mmol/l NaCl počelo je da klija nakon 4 dana ispitivanja, a nakon 5 dana na podlozi kvašenoj sa 300 mmol/l NaCl. Dužina ponika je bila statistički značajno najveća u kontroli, kod sve tri sorte. Statistički značajno najniže vrednosti su dobijene kod ponika na koncentraciji 300 mmol/l NaCl. Za uspešnu proizvodnju u stresnim uslovima treba odabirati genotipove koji su adaptabilni i imaju izraženu pozitivnu interakciju sa uslovima spoljne sredine.

This crop is tolerant to many soil types (including saline soils) in the growing regions across the globe. Testing was done on three oilrape winter varieties: Ana, Slavica and Ilia. The influence of salinity on seed quality was determined after the harvest using standard laboratory methods under laboratory conditions. Seed germination in the control ranged from 92.75 % do 96 %. As NaCl concentration increased from 150 mmol/l to 250 mmol/l, germination decreased, and statistically the lowest values were obtained at the concentration of 300 mmol/l in Slavica and Ilija varieties (57-84 %). In all studied genotypes, the first seedlings emerged after three days of testing in the control and at NaCl concentrations of 75 mmol/l, 100 mmol/l, 150 mmol/l and 200 mmol/l. The seed germinated on the medium moisturized with 250 mmol/l NaCl started to germinate after four days of testing, while the seed germinated on the medium moisturized with 300 mmol/l NaCl started germination after five days. The length of seedlings was statistically the most significant in the control in all three varieties. For successful production under stress conditions, adaptable genotypes which have pronounced positive interaction with environmental conditions should be chosen., Uljana repica je biljna vrsta koja je tolerantna na mnoge tipove zemljišta u regionima gajenja širom sveta, koja dobro podnosi zaslanjena zemljišta. Ispitivanja su izvedena na tri sorte ozime uljane repice: Ana, Slavica i Ilia. Nakon žetve, utvrđen je uticaj zaslanjenosti na kvalitet semena primenom standardnog laboratorijskog metoda. Filter papir je kvašen destilovanom vodom (kontrola) i različitim koncentracijama NaCl (75 mmol/l, 100 mmol/l, 150 mmol/l, 200 mmol/l, 250 mmol/l i 300 mmol/l). Nakon 7 dana utvrđeni su klijavost semena, brzina klijanja semena i dužina ponika. Klijavost semena u kontroli se kretala od 92.75% do 96%. Sa povećanjem koncentracije NaCl od 150 mmol/l do 250 mmol/l klijavost se smanjivala i statistički najniže vrednosti dobijene su na koncentraciji od 300 mmol/l kod sorti Slavica i Ilija (57%-84%). AB  - Soybean seed size can have a major effect on the quality of seeds. Beside the effect that seed size has on 1000-grain weight, it can also affect other seed quality parameters. Some authors suggest it can be expected that larger seeds have better quality. Seeds with higher content of reserve nutrients provide better developed plants, so it is possible to expect higher yields. Since the soybean seed does not have the minimum dimension of certified seed prescribed by law, it is necessary to examine the minimum size of seed that gives good enough results at planting, growth and development of plants. On the basis of these indicators, set up of cleaners and selection of work sieves cleaners during processing of soybean seed should be accessed. Soybean has a roundish shape, so it is possible to calibrate by a simple procedure using sieves of different sizes and openings. The effect of certain sizes on the soybean seed germination and initial growth of seedlings of varieties which are characterized by different seed sizes was tested in this work. On that occasion the varieties Balkan, Victoria and Trijumf, which were developed at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad were used. Dry matter content in the plant was used as an indicator of initial seedling growth. It was found that the dry matter content of seedlings increases with larger sizes, compared to dry matter content of smaller sizes. Thus, the lowest value was recorded in the variety Trijumf, for the size of 4.0 to 4.5 mm 4.7 g, while the highest value was recorded also in the variety Trijumf for the size of 6.0 to 6.5 mm 8.1 g. In addition, it was observed that the germination of seed of different sizes has different values. The lowest values were recorded in Balkan variety for the size of 4.0 to 4.5 mm 64%, while the highest germination was recorded in the variety Victoria for the size of 5.5 to 6.0 mm 85%.
AB  - Krupnoća semena soje može da ima veliki uticaj na kvalitet semena. Pored toga što veličina zrna utiče na masu hiljadu zrna, takođe može da utiče i na druge parametere kvaliteta semena. Literaturni izvori navode na zaključak da se može očekivati da je krupnije seme kvalitetnije. Seme sa većim sadržajem rezervnih hranljivih materija daje razvijeniju biljku pa je moguće očekivati i veće prinose. S obzirom da kod semena soje nije zakonom propisana minimalna dimenzija deklarisanog semena, potrebno je ispitati koja minimalna dimenzija semena daje dovoljno dobre rezultate u setvi, porastu i razvoju biljke. Na osnovu tih pokazatelja bi trebalo pristupiti podešavanju prečistača i odabiru radnih sita prečistača tokom dorade semena soje. Seme soje ima okruglast oblik pa je moguće kalibraciju uraditi jednostavnim postupkom pomoću sita različitih dimenzija i otvora. U radu je ispitan uticaj određenih frakcija na klijavost semena soje i početnog porasta ponika za sorte koje se karakterišu različitom krupnoćom zrna. Tom prilikom su korišćene sorte Balkan, Victoria i Trijumf, koje su stvorene u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo iz Novog Sada. Kao pokazatelj početnog porasta ponika korišćen je sadržaj suve materije u biljci. Utvrđeno je da se sadržaj suve materije ponika povećava kod krupnijih frakcija u odnosu na sadržaj suve materije kod sitnijih frakcija.Tako je najmanja vrednost zabeležena kod sorte Trijumf za frakciju 4,0-4,5 mm od 4,7 g, dok je najveća vrednost zabeležena takođe kod sorte Trijumf za frakciju 6,0-6,5 mm od 8,1g. AB  - On the basis of experience from practice, it is observed certain level of disagreement between results of laboratory germination test (ISTA) and filed emergency of soybean. This research should evaluate and validate power of prediction of standard laboratory test of soybean seed germination. Experiment included three soybean varieties from three seed lots. Sample from each lot were sieve fractionated and obtained five sub-samples of different seed size. From each subsample, laboratory germination were determinates, and all subsamples were planted in the field for field emergency evaluation. It was observed influence of thousand seed weight (TSW) on results of laboratory germination test, where the highest germination was observed for TSW between 165 and 172g. This relation was not confirmed in field experiment. In order to sample the predictive power lab test, considered the absolute difference between the lab germination and field emergence (delta).

Effect of foliar nutrition on soybean yield and quality in organic production

AB  - Organic agricultural production recorded a continuous growth in output and demand, globally speaking, in order to meet consumer needs for quality and safe food. The plots of the Institute for Field and Vegetable Crops in Bački Petrovac, the experiment performed soybean for method in organic production, in four replications in 2011. This paper studied the influence of foliar nutrition, with microbial fertilizer on the yield and chemical composition of grain, soybean varieties in NS Galina. We studied the following properties: soybean yield (kg/ha), content (%) and yield (kg/ha) of total protein and oil content of soybeans. Have been achieved very high yields of soybean in 5,746 amounted to an average kg/ha. Yields ranged from 5,604 kg/ha in the control variant to 5,887 kg/ha for foliar feeding options. Average grain yield was higher in the variants of foliar feeding of 283 kg/ha or 5.05% compared to the control variant. Differences defined in oil content soybean material between the control and foliar nutrition were not statistically significant, while the protein content was the same in both variants. Higher protein and oil yield in the was recorded as either a foliar nutrition. Were done, the values of the correlation coefficient between the studied traits. There was a significantly high positive correlation between yield and oil content (0.73**) and a negative correlation between yield and protein content (-0.35) and between oil and protein content in soybean (-0.45). The organic production of soybean foliar nutrition proved to be a successful method for improving the yield of soybean. Research to be continued.
AB  - Organska poljoprivredna proizvodnja beleži kontinuirani rast obima proizvodnje i tražnje posmatrano u globalnim okvirima, u cilju zadovoljenja potreba potrošača za kvalitetnom i zdravstveno bezbednijom hranom. Na parcelama Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, u Bačkom Petrovcu, izveden je ogled soje po metodama organske proizvodnje, u četiri ponavljanja, 2011. godine. U radu je proučavan uticaj folijarne ishrane sa mikrobiološkim đubrivom na prinos i hemijski sastav zrna, kod NS sorte Galina. Ispitivana su sledeća svojstva: prinos zrna soje (kg/ha), sadržaj (%) i prinos (kg/ha) ukupnih proteina i ulja u zrnu soje. Ostvareni su izuzetno visoki prinosi soje i u proseku su iznosili 5.746 kg/ha. Prinosi su varirali od 5.604 kg/ha u kontrolnoj varijanti do 5.887 kg/ha u varijanti folijarne ishrane. Prinos zrna soje u proseku bio je viši u varijanti folijarne ishrane za 283 kg/ha ili za 5,05 % u odnosu na kontrolnu varijantu. Definisane razlike sadržaja ulja u zrnu soje između kontrolnog materijala i folijarne ishrane nisu statistički značajne, dok je sadržaj proteina bio isti u obe varijante. Odrađene su vrednosti koeficijenta korelacije između ispitivanih svojstava. Zabeležena je pozitivna visoko statistički značajna korelacija između prinosa i sadržaja ulja (0,73**) i negativna korelacija između prinosa i sadržaja proteina (-0,35) kao i između sadržaja ulja i sadržaja proteina u zrnu soje (-0,45). U organskoj proizvodnji soje folijarna ishrana pokazala se kao moguć metod za poboljšanje prinosa soje. Ispitivanje treba nastaviti.

The plots of the Institute for Field and Vegetable Crops in Bački Petrovac, the experiment performed soybean for method in organic production, in four replications in 2011. This paper studied the influence of foliar nutrition, with microbial fertilizer on the yield and chemical composition of grain, soybean varieties in NS Galina. We studied the following properties: soybean yield (kg/ha), content (%) and yield (kg/ha) of total protein and oil content of soybeans. Have been achieved very high yields of soybean in 5,746 amounted to an average kg/ha. Yields ranged from 5,604 kg/ha in the control variant to 5,887 kg/ha for foliar feeding options. Average grain yield was higher in the variants of foliar feeding of 283 kg/ha or 5.05% compared to the control variant. Differences defined in oil content soybean material between the control and foliar nutrition were not statistically significant, while the protein content was the same in both variants. Higher protein and oil yield in the was recorded as either a foliar nutrition. Were done, the values of the correlation coefficient between the studied traits. There was a significantly high positive correlation between yield and oil content (0.73**) and a negative correlation between yield and protein content (-0.35) and between oil and protein content in soybean (-0.45). The organic production of soybean foliar nutrition proved to be a successful method for improving the yield of soybean. Research to be continued., Organska poljoprivredna proizvodnja beleži kontinuirani rast obima proizvodnje i tražnje posmatrano u globalnim okvirima, u cilju zadovoljenja potreba potrošača za kvalitetnom i zdravstveno bezbednijom hranom. Na parcelama Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, u Bačkom Petrovcu, izveden je ogled soje po metodama organske proizvodnje, u četiri ponavljanja, 2011. godine. U radu je proučavan uticaj folijarne ishrane sa mikrobiološkim đubrivom na prinos i hemijski sastav zrna, kod NS sorte Galina. Ispitivana su sledeća svojstva: prinos zrna soje (kg/ha), sadržaj (%) i prinos (kg/ha) ukupnih proteina i ulja u zrnu soje. Ostvareni su izuzetno visoki prinosi soje i u proseku su iznosili 5.746 kg/ha. Prinosi su varirali od 5.604 kg/ha u kontrolnoj varijanti do 5.887 kg/ha u varijanti folijarne ishrane. Prinos zrna soje u proseku bio je viši u varijanti folijarne ishrane za 283 kg/ha ili za 5,05 % u odnosu na kontrolnu varijantu. Definisane razlike sadržaja ulja u zrnu soje između kontrolnog materijala i folijarne ishrane nisu statistički značajne, dok je sadržaj proteina bio isti u obe varijante. Odrađene su vrednosti koeficijenta korelacije između ispitivanih svojstava. Zabeležena je pozitivna visoko statistički značajna korelacija između prinosa i sadržaja ulja (0,73**) i negativna korelacija između prinosa i sadržaja proteina (-0,35) kao i između sadržaja ulja i sadržaja proteina u zrnu soje (-0,45). U organskoj proizvodnji soje folijarna ishrana pokazala se kao moguć metod za poboljšanje prinosa soje. Ispitivanje treba nastaviti.",

AB  - Po sadržaju proteina, oko 40 %, soja je prvenstveno proteinska biljka. Međutim zrno soje sadrži i oko 20 % ulja, što soju svrstava u uljane biljne vrste. U cilju ispitivanja tehnološkog kvaliteta NS sorti soje postavljen je ogled sa dvanaest NS sorti soje na osam lokaliteta. Analiziran je prinos zrna, sadržaj proteina i sadržaj ulja u zrnu soje. Prosečan prinos se kretao od 2969 kg ha-1 na lokalitetu Ruma do 3873 kg ha-1 na lokalitetu Bačka Topola. Sadržaj proteina je varirao od 37% na lokalitetu Pančevo do 38,7% na lokalitetu Bačka Topola, dok je sadržaj ulja bio najmanji na lokalitetu Sombor (21,4%), a najveći na lokalitetu Zrenjanin (22,5%).

The aim of this study was to determine the most-yielding NS soybean varieties for the agro-ecological conditions of Pančevo area in Serbia. This paper shows the analysis of yield and quality parameters of eight NS soybean varieties of I maturity group. Plot trial was carried out in Pančevo in 2011. All analyzed NS varieties achieved high yields. The highest average grain yield, and protein and oil yield was achieved by the new soybean variety NS Maximus (4,403 kg ha-1; 1,644 kg ha-1 and 1,023 kg ha-1, respectively) and line NS-L-210 391 (4,371 kg ha-1; 1,613 kg ha-1 and 973 kg ha-1, respectively), while the lowest yield was achieved by Diva (3,119 kg ha-1, 1,163 kg ha-1 and 701 kg ha-1, respectively). Average yield for these soybean varieties was 3,701 kg ha-1. NS Maximus recorded significantly higher yield than other tested varieties, except the line NS-L-210391. NS Maximus and NS-L-414260 achieved significantly higher oil content than the other tested cultivars, while NS-L-210385 had the highest protein content.
AB  - U skladu sa zahtevima tržišta u Odeljenju za soju, Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo Novi Sad radi se na oplemenjivanju visoko produktivnih sorti soje i sorti visokog kvaliteta zrna. Cilj istraživanja bio je da se odrede najprinosnije NS sorte soje za agroekološke uslove Pančeva i okoline. U radu su prikazani rezultati analize prinosa i parametara kvaliteta osam NS sorti i linija soje I grupe zrenja. Mikroogled je izveden u Pančevu tokom 2011. godine. Sve testirane sorte ostvarile su visoke prinose. Najviši prinos zrna, prinos proteina i ulja imala je nova sorta soje NS Maximus (4.403 kg ha-1, 1.644 kg ha-1, 1.023 kg ha-1) i linija NS-L-210391 (4.371 kg ha-1, 1.613 kg ha-1, 973 kg ha-1), dok je najniže prinose imala sorta Diva (3.119 kg ha-1, 1.163 kg ha-1 i 701 kg ha-1). Significantly higher yield was recorded in 2010 as compared to the 2009. Soybean cultivars Sava and Valjevka had the highest yield per unit area as compared to other tested cultivars. The protein content of all soybean cultivars was 38.04% on average. The 2010 protein content was significantly higher than the 2009. Cultivar Proteinka had significantly higher two-year average protein content (39.29%) as compared to the tested cultivars. Average oil content for all tested cultivars was 20.55%. Cultivars Valjevka and Sava had the highest average oil content, 20.88% and 20.87% respectively. The 2009 oil content was significantly higher than the 2010. Cultivar Sava had the highest protein and oil yield (1,445 kg ha-1 and 789 kg ha-1 respectively) as compared to other tested cultivars. There were statistically significant differences in yields, and protein and oil content and yield depending on cultivars and testing year. Environmental factors influenced the correlation between yield and protein oil and content.
AB  - U radu su prikazani dvogodišnji rezultati prinosa, sadržaja proteina i ulja NS sorti soje, 0 i I grupe zrenja. Prosečni prinosi, za sve testirane sorte soje, varirali su od 3.211 kg ha-1 (2009) do 4.104 kg ha-1 (2010). Statistički značajno viši prinosi zabeleženi su 2010. u odnosu na 2009. Sorte soje Sava i Valjevka imale su statistički značajno viši prinos po jedinici površine u odnosu na ostale testirane sorte. AB  - Knowledge of mechanical properties of agricultural materials is important for designing and exploitation of agricultural machines and equipment, as well as for successful preservation of biological values of seed during drying, processing and storage. As the shape of soybean seeds is generally round, they can be graded by a simple procedure, using different sieve settings. In this study we assessed the impact of seed grade on the mechanical properties of seed of the soybean varieties which differed in seed size. The initial tangent modulus of elasticity and maximum rupture force were used as indices of mechanical properties of seed, and they were discussed in detail in the paper. The values of the initial tangent modulus of elasticity went down as seed size increased. The lowest value, 9.26 N/mm2, was recorded for grade 6.0 to 6.5 mm in the variety Balkan. The highest value, 18.84 N/mm2, was recorded for grade 4.0 to 4.5 mm in the variety Victoria. Unlike the values of the initial tangent modulus of elasticity, the values of maximum rupture force increased in proportion with increase in seed size. The highest value, 176.18 N, was recorded for grade 5.5 to 6.0 mm in the variety Victoria, and the lowest value, 92.15 N, was recorded for grade 4.0 to 4.5 mm in the variety Balkan. .
AB  - Poznavanje mehaničkih osobina poljoprivrednih materijala je veoma važno prilikom konstruisanja i eksploatacije poljoprivrednih mašina i opreme ali je neophodno i za očuvanje bioloških vrednosti semena prilikom sušenja, skladištenja i procesa dorade. Seme soje na osnovu fizičkih osobina ima okruglast oblik pa je moguće kalibraciju uraditi jednostavnim postupkom pomoću sita raznih dimenzija i otvora. U radu je ispitan uticaj frakcija na mehaničke osobine semena soje za sorte koje se karakterišu različitom krupnoćom zrna. Kao pokazatelji mehaničkih osobina semena korišćeni su početni tangentni modul elastičnosti i maksimalna sila razaranja koji su detaljno prikazani u radu. Vrednosti početnog tangentnog modula elastičnosti su sa povećanjem dimenzije zrna imale manje vrednosti. Tako je najmanja vrednost zabeležena kod sorte Balkan za frakciju 6,0-6,5 mm od 9,26 N/mm2, dok je najveća vrednost zabeležena kod sorte Victoria za frakciju 4,0-4,5 mm od 18,84 N/mm2.Za razliku od početnog tangentnog modula elastičnosti, vrednosti maksimalne sile razaranja su se povećavale sa povećanjem dimenzija semena, tako da je najveća vrednost zabeležena kod sorte Victoria za frakciju 5,5-6,0 mm od 176,18 N dok je najmanja vrednost zabeležena kod sorte Balkan za frakciju 4,0-4,5mm od 92,15 N. .

AB  - International seed trade considers seed germination as the main indicator of the seed quality. Different results of seed germination under laboratory conditions and emergence in the field encouraged the development of the concept of the seed vigor and the term of vigor. Seed viability or vigor presents a set of those traits that affect seed germination and the establishment of strong and healthy seedlings under different environmental conditions. The aim of this work was to determine the effect of locality and production year on germination and vigor of soybean seed. The testing was performed on 6 soybean varieties (Valjevka, Bojana, Balkan, Novosađanka, Vojvođanka i Morava) produced in the towns of Inđija and Vrbas in 2009 and 2010. The seed germination of all samples was determined by using standard laboratory and vigor tests (Cold test and Accelerated aging test). When the standard laboratory test was applied the seed germination of all tested varieties produced in 2009 in Inđija ranged from 78% to 87%, and from 94% to 99% in Vrbas. The germination of seeds produced in 2010 in both localities was higher in all tested varieties in relation to 2009. When the accelerated aging test was applied the germination of seeds produced in Inđija in 2009 was statistically significantly lower (67-85%) in all tested varieties in comparison to seed germination obtained by the standard laboratory test (78-87%). The seed germination obtained by the application of the cold test was statistically significantly lower (25-90%) for the seed produced in Inđija in comparison to the value obtained for the seeds produced in Vrbas (80-97) for both years of production.
AB  - Međunarodna trgovina semena, kao osnovni pokazatelj kvaliteta uzima klijavost semena. Različiti rezultati ispitivanja klijavosti semena u laboratorijskim uslovima i nicanja u polju podstakli su razvoj koncepta životne sposobnosti semena i pojma vigora. Životna sposobnost semena ili vigor predstavlja skup onih osobina semena koje utiču na klijavost semena i formiranje snažnog i zdravog ponika u različitim uslovima spoljašnje sredine. Cilj rada je bio da se utvrdi uticaj lokaliteta i godine proizvodnje na klijavost i vigor semena soje. Ispitivanja su izvršena na 6 sorata soje (Valjevka, Bojana, Balkan, Novosađanka, Vojvođanka i Morava) proizvedenih u Inđiji i Vrbasu u 2009 i 2010. godini. Kod svih uzoraka utvrđena je klijavost semena primenom standardnog laboratorijskog metoda i vigor testova (hladni test i test ubrzanog starenja). Primenom standardnog laboratorijskog metoda klijavost semena, kod svih ispitivanih sorata na lokalitetu Inđija, proizvedenih u 2009. godini, se kretala od 78% do 87%, a na lokalitetu Vrbas od 94% do 99%. AB  - Grain protein content in five soybean cultivars was determined in a two-year field experiment. The soybean cultivars belong to different maturity groups (O, I and II) and they represent the current cultivars in our country. Significant differences were found in protein content depending on cultivar and year. It seems that this is a cultivar property, but is also under a very strong environmental influence. The results show that there are significant differences between cultivars, while the average protein content ranged from 36.52% (Venera) to 39.76% (Proteinka). The year 2008 was significantly more favourable than 2009 for protein synthesis. Considerable variability in protein content among cultivars (CV=3.04%) indicates the possibility of further increase of the analyzed property.
AB  - U dvogodišnjem poljskom ogledu utvrđen je sadržaj proteina u zrnu pet sorti soje različite dužine vegetacije (0, I i II grupe zrenja), koje trenutno čine aktuelni sortiment u našoj zemlji. Utvrđene su znatne razlike u sadržaju proteina u zavisnosti od sorte i godine. Proizilazi da je ovo svojstvo sortna osobina, ali da je takođe pod vrlo jakim uticajem ekoloških faktora. Rezultati pokazuju da postoje značajne razlike između genotipova, pri čemu se sadržaj proteina u proseku kretao od 36,52 % (Venera) do 39,76 % (Proteinka). Za sintezu proteina znatno povoljnija bila je 2008. u odnosu na 2009. Varijabilnost u sadržaju proteina između genotipova (CV=3,04 %) ukazuje na dalju mogućnost povećanja analiziranog svojstva.

AB  - During 2007 and 2008, influence of fertilizer application on soybean yield was investigated. Research was conducted based on three soybean varieties from different maturity groups: Galina, (maturity group 0), Diva (I) and Mima (II). A trial with three replications was conducted at the experimental field of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops at Rimski Šančevi. Lower doses of nitrogen fertilizer had a beneficial effect on soybean yield, while the higher ones had no positive effect. The foliar application of complex fertilizer had the best effect on soybean yield.
AB  - Tokom 2007. i 2008. godine proučavan je uticaj đubrenja na prinos soje. U istraživanju su uključene tri sorte soje različitih grupa zrenja: Galina (grupa zrenja 0), Diva (I) i Mima (II). Ogled je postavljen u tri ponavljanja, na parceli Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo na Rimskim Šančevima. Utvrđeno je da niže doze azotnih đubriva pozitivno utiču na prinos soje, dok povećane doze đubriva nemaju pozitivan efekat na prinos. Primenom folijarnog, kompleksnog đubriva ostvareni su najviši prinosi soje.

AB  - Biochemical changes that occur in the seed as a result of ageing are very significant for seed quality and longevity. Because of its characteristic composition, processes occurring in the seed of oil crops during storage will be typical as well. Six soybean varieties developed in Institute of field and vegetable crops Novi Sad, submitted to accelerated and natural aging, under controlled and conventional storage conditions were used in these trials. The content of malondialdehyde, superoxide dismutase and peroxidase activities were studied. The biochemical processes i.e. lipid peroxidation, as well as the decrease in supeoxide dismutase and peroxidase activities (especially pronounced by applied accelerated aging) were caused by both type of aging. The degree of seed damage and the ability of seed to resist the negative consequences of aging were influenced, beside duration of aging period, by type of storage and characteristics of soybean varieties. .
AB  - Biohemijske promene koje se dešavaju u semenu tokom starenja veoma su značajne u pogledu kvaliteta i životne sposobnosti semena, što je posebno važno kod semena sa višim sadržajem lipida. Za ova istraživanja korišćeno je seme šest sorti soje Instituta za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, Novi Sad koje je podvrgnuto veštačkom i prirodnom starenju u kontrolisanim i redovnim skladišnim uslovima. Ispitivan je sadržaj malonilaldehida, kao pokazatelja intenziteta lipidne peroksidacije, kao i aktivnost antioksidantnih enzima. Starenje semena, kako veštačko tako i prirodno, prouzrokovalo je pojavu biohemijskih procesa, odnosno lipidne peroksidacije, kao i smanjenje aktivnosti superoksid-dizmutaze i peroksidaze, što je bilo posebno izraženo primenom veštačkog starenja. Na stepen oštećenja i sposobnost semena da se odupre negativnim posledicama starenja imali su uticaja pored dužine perioda starenja, način čuvanja, kao i karakteristike semena ispitivanih sorti soje. .

AB  - In our processing centre there are several storage types for soybean seed storage and it is very important to know which storage type exerts the most significant influence on seed quality, i.e. which storage type is appropriate for seed storage. This matter is most important for soybean because soybean seed is very difficult for storage. Six types of storage of soybean seed prior to processing were investigated (ground storage, storage with concrete cell, storage with metal cell, storage with 'Kongskilde' cell, seed storage in large transport, 'jambo' bags, and control, soybean seed processed directly after harvesting). Obtained results revealed that there were differences in quality of processed soybean seed depending on the storage type. Also, the influence of moisture content of harvested seed on quality of processed seed was observed, and higher influence was noticed in seed with low moisture. .
AB  - S obzirom da u našim doradnim centrima postoji nekoliko tipova skladišta u kojima se čuva seme soje pre dorade, neophodno je poznavati koji tipovi skladišta utiču više ili manje na kvalitet semena, odnosno koja su skladišta povoljna za čuvanje semena. Ovo pitanje je od izuzetnog značaja kod soje jer je poznato da ona spada u grupu biljaka čije se seme veoma teško čuva. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo šest tipova skladištenja semena soje pre dorade (podni magacin, skladište sa betonskim ćelijama, skladište sa metalnim ćelijama, skladište sa 'Kongskilde' ćelijama, seme skladišteno u velike transportne, 'džambo', vreće), kao i kontrolu, odnosno seme soje koje je odmah posle žetve dorađivano. Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju na postojanje razlike u kvalitetu dorađenog semena soje, u zavisnosti od tipa skladištenja pre dorade. Takođe je ispitivan i uticaj sadržaja vlage u semenu soje prilikom žetve na kvalitet dorađenog semena, pri čemu je utvrđen veći uticaj kod semena sa nižom vlažnošću. .

AB  - Quality and timely application of technology relating to plant growing, agrometeorogical conditions greatly determine as well as soybean production. Looking back we can say that we had three favorable years for soybean production excluding 2007. Vegetation period of 2007 was characterized by three stress periods causing decrease in yield. Unfavorable conditions prevailed during sowing and emerging, and then during grain filling, and finally even during harvesting. This year was characterized by variation in yield among regions and among plots as well. Soybean yield ranged from below one hectare to up to four tons per hectare. Besides hydrometeorogical conditions soybean, yield was influenced by soil type, time of sowing, applied growing technology, and the maturity group of the variety in question.
AB  - Proizvodnju soje značajno određuju kako kvalitet i pravovremenost primenjene tehnologije gajenja, tako i agrometeorološki uslovi godine. Gledajući unazad, imali smo tri povoljne godine za proizvodnju soje, što se ne može reći za 2007. godinu. Vegetacioni period 2007. godine karakterišu tri stresna perioda koji su uticali na smanjenje prinosa. Nepovoljni uslovi vladali su tokom setve i nicanja, zatim tokom nalivanja zrna, i na kraju i tokom žetve. Ovu godinu karakteriše variranje prinosa po rejonima ali i po parcelama. Prinos soje bio je u rasponu od ispod jedne, pa do četiri tone po hektaru. Osim hidrometeoroloških uslova, na visinu prinosa uticali su tip zemljišta, vreme setve, primenjena tehnologija gajenja, kao i grupa zrenja gajene sorte.

AB  - It is well known that seed quality depend on many factors, especially on a seed fraction. Also, a share of each fraction in the total seed mass is very important. The seed of soybean cultivars, developed at the Institute of Field and Vegetable crops, Novi Sad, of different maturity groups [Jelica (00) Afrodita (0), Balkan (I), Novosađanka (I) and Vojvođanka (II)] and of three fractions (4,5-5,0 mm, 5,0-5,5 mm and  gt 5,5 mm) was used in this investigation. Parameters of seed quality (1000-seed weight, germination viability and germination) and share of each fraction in the total processed seed were tested. Obtained results show significant differences between investigated fractions only for 1000-seed weight and percentage share of the stated fractions.
AB  - U teoriji i praksi poznato je da kvalitet semena zavisi od više faktora, a između ostalog i od frakcije semena. Pored toga, veoma je bitno i učešće svake frakcije u ukupnoj masi semena. Za istraživanje je korišćeno seme sorti soje stvorenih u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, Novi Sad, različite grupe zrenja: Jelica (00), Afrodita (0), Balkan (I), Novosađanka (I) i Vojvođanka (II). Za tri frakcije semena soje: 4,5 mm-5,0 mm, 5,0-5,5 mm i  gt 5,5 mm, analizirani su parametri kvaliteta semena (masa 1000 zrna, energija klijanja i klijavost), kao i učešće svake frakcije u dorađenom semenu. Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata, uočene su značajne razlike između ispitivanih frakcija samo za apsolutnu masu semena i procenat učešća semena navedenih frakcija.

The seed of soybean cultivars, developed at the Institute of Field and Vegetable crops, Novi Sad, of different maturity groups [Jelica (00) Afrodita (0), Balkan (I), Novosađanka (I) and Vojvođanka (II)] and of three fractions (4,5-5,0 mm, 5,0-5,5 mm and  gt 5,5 mm) was used in this investigation. Parameters of seed quality (1000-seed weight, germination viability and germination) and share of each fraction in the total processed seed were tested. Obtained results show significant differences between investigated fractions only for 1000-seed weight and percentage share of the stated fractions., U teoriji i praksi poznato je da kvalitet semena zavisi od više faktora, a između ostalog i od frakcije semena. Pored toga, veoma je bitno i učešće svake frakcije u ukupnoj masi semena. Za istraživanje je korišćeno seme sorti soje stvorenih u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, Novi Sad, različite grupe zrenja: Jelica (00), Afrodita (0), Balkan (I), Novosađanka (I) i Vojvođanka (II). Za tri frakcije semena soje: 4,5 mm-5,0 mm, 5,0-5,5 mm i  gt 5,5 mm, analizirani su parametri kvaliteta semena (masa 1000 zrna, energija klijanja i klijavost), kao i učešće svake frakcije u dorađenom semenu. Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata, uočene su značajne razlike između ispitivanih frakcija samo za apsolutnu masu semena i procenat učešća semena navedenih frakcija.",

AB  - The possibility of a fast and non-destructive estimation of the chemical composition of the soybean seed is one of the most important factors in soybean breeding, soybean seed production, as well as, soybean processing. The near infrared (NIR) spectrum is a small part of the light spectrum and pertains wave lengths between 700 and 2500 nm. These parts of the spectrum contain a large number of absorptions bands, overtones and combined bands, which originate from different organic molecules and provide quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of the soybean seed. The application of multivariate statistical methods provide quantitative chemical analyses of different classes of organic molecules in the soybean seed. Calibration equations were developed from 220 soybean seed samples. Close relationships between standard analytical methods and NIR values were estimated. The coefficients of determination for the protein and oil contents were 0.97 and 0.93, respectively. The NIR spectroscopy is a rapid, robust and reliable method for quantitative analyses of the protein and oil content in the intact soybean seed.
AB  - Mogućnost brzog i nedestruktivnog određivanja hemijskog sastav semena soje predstavlja bitan faktor u oplemenjivanju i semenarstvu soje, kao i u prerađivačkoj industriji. Bliski infracrveni (NIR) deo spektra, predstavlja samo mali deo spektra svetlosti i odnosi se na talasne dužine od 700 do 2,500 nm. U ovom delu spektra nalazi se veliki broj apsorpcionih traka i kombinovanih traka, koji potiču od različitih organskih molekula i omogućavaju kvantitativnu i kvalitativnu hemijsku analizu semena soje. Uz primenu multivariacionih statističkih metoda moguća je kvantitativna analiza različitih klasa organskih molekula u semenu soje. Jednačine kalibracionih krivih konstruisane su na osnovu 220 uzoraka semena soje. Utvrđene su bliske vrednosti dobijene merenjem standardnim laboratorijskim tehnikama i NIR tehnikom. Koeficijent determinacije za sadržaj proteina iznosio je 0,97 dok je za sadržaj ulja bio 0,93 NIR spektroskopija je brza, robusna i pouzdana tehnika pomoću koje je moguće kvantitativno određivanje saržaja proteina i ulja u intaktnom semenu soju.

AB  - A two-year study with two early soybean genotypes was carried out to investigate changes in soybean morphological traits occurring in double cropping. The two sowing dates were mid-April and early July after the barley harvest. According to the average value for the two investigation years and genotypes, soybean plants from the double cropping system had lower plant height (19.69%), plant weight (15.16%), node number (25.47%), pod number and weight (16.7 and 11.12%, respectively), and grain number and weight (13.79 and 9.91%, respectively). In double cropping, grain yield was reduced by 30.16%, while the absolute 1,000-grain weight increased by 4.47%. In relation to individual years and genotypes, it can be observed that the soybean morphological traits and yields were affected not only by a genotype, but to a great extent, by weather conditions as well.
AB  - U cilju sagledavanja promena morfoloških osobina biljaka soje u postrnoj setvi izvršena su dvogodišnja istraživanja sa dva rana genotipa soje. Setva je vršena u dva roka, polovinom aprila i posle žetve ječma, početkom jula. Biljke soje iz postrne setve u proseku za obe godine istraživanja i oba genotipa, bile su niže (19,69%), imale su manju masu biljaka (15,16%), broj spratova (25,47%), broj i masu mahuna (16,73% i 11,12%) i broj i masu zrna (13,79% i 9,91%). Prinos zrna soje u postrnoj setvi bio je smanjen za 30,16%, dok je apsolutna masa 1000 zrna bila povećana za 4,47%. Ako godine istraživanja ili genotipovi soje se posmatraju pojedinačno, može se videti da na promene vrednosti morfoloških osobina i prinosa pored genotipa, veliki uticaj imaju i vremenske prilike u datoj godini.

AB  - It is well known that there are many reasons causing decreased seed quality Many natural events during seed production (like stress etc) can neither be influenced nor control. When seed storage is in question, it must be said that cases regarding decreased seed quality during storage are not uncommon practice, although at this segment of production some parameters ca be controlled. Due to above mentioned this problem must be approached with extreme caution. Tested parameters of seed quality during storage in "Kongskilde" bins, with adequate ventilation and without it, for two different production years, are given in this paper. No significant changes in tested quality parameters were noticed in both tested periods.
AB  - Poznato je da postoji mnogo razloga koji mogu dovesti do smanjenja kvaliteta semena. Na mnoge pojave koje se dešavaju u prirodi tokom proizvodnje semena (stres i sl) ne možemo da utičemo niti da ih kontrolišemo. Kada je skladištenje semena u pitanju, treba reći da u praksi nisu retki slučajevi da seme soje tokom skladištenja umanji ili čak izgubi kvalitet, iako u ovom segmentu proizvodnje semena mnoge parametre možemo da kontrolišemo. Zbog toga je neophodno ovom problemu prići krajnje obazrivo. U radu su prikazani ispitivani parametri kvaliteta semena tokom skladištenja u "Kongskilde" ćelijama, sa i bez aktivnog ventilisanja u toku dve različite proizvodne godine. U oba perioda ispitivanja nije došlo do značajnih promena ispitivanih parametara kvaliteta.

Uticaj primenjene tehnologije proizvodnje na prinos semena soje u 2005. godini

AB  - Semenska proizvodnja soje u 2005. godini odlikuje se veoma dobrim rezultatima a analiza primenjene agrotehnike ukazuje na ozbiljnost pristupa proizvođača gajenju semenskih useva soje. Iako su agroekološki uslovi bili povoljni, ipak je žetva u oktobarskom roku odnela jedan deo prinosa semena soje. Većina proizvođača primenila je pravovremeno sve agrotehničke mere i ostvarila zavidan nivo proizvodnih rezultata. Pridržavanje optimalnih rokova za obradu setvu, zaštitu useva od korova, kao i uputstava za gajenje semenskih useva omogućili su realizaciju plana proizvodnje semena soje u 2005. godini, u količini dovoljnoj za zadovoljenje potreba našeg tržišta za semenom soje. U radu je analizirana primenjena tehnologija proizvodnje semenskih useva soje na uzorku koji čini oko 57% od ukupne površine semenske proizvodnje soje u ovoj godini. Analiza je obuhvatila veći broj agrotehničkih mera i rokova koji se primenjuju u tehnologiji gajenja soje, a poređenje je vršeno u odnosu na ostvarene prosečne prinose po jedinici površine, kako bi se utvrdio uticaj pojedinih mera na prinos semena soje.

Pridržavanje optimalnih rokova za obradu setvu, zaštitu useva od korova, kao i uputstava za gajenje semenskih useva omogućili su realizaciju plana proizvodnje semena soje u 2005. godini, u količini dovoljnoj za zadovoljenje potreba našeg tržišta za semenom soje. U radu je analizirana primenjena tehnologija proizvodnje semenskih useva soje na uzorku koji čini oko 57% od ukupne površine semenske proizvodnje soje u ovoj godini. Analiza je obuhvatila veći broj agrotehničkih mera i rokova koji se primenjuju u tehnologiji gajenja soje, a poređenje je vršeno u odnosu na ostvarene prosečne prinose po jedinici površine, kako bi se utvrdio uticaj pojedinih mera na prinos semena soje.",

AB  - Storage of soybean seed is very important part of seed production. This problem requires a careful approach because, in experience, there are many cases in which soybean seed decreases or loses quality during storage. Sometimes, material may lose seed characteristic. There fore safe storage is very important This research shows investigated parameters of seed quality during storage in "Kongskilde" cells, with or without activated ventilating.
AB  - Skladištenje semena soje je važan segment u ukupnoj proizvodnji semena. U praksi, se često dešava da se kvalitet semena tokom skladištenja snizi. Ponekad se desi da materijal tokom skladištenja izgubi svojstvo semena. Zbog toga je važno pouzdano skladištenje. U radu su prikazane promene svojstava kvaliteta semena tokom skladištenja u ćelijama tipa "Kongskilde". U tri ćelije primenjena je povremena aktivna ventilacija okolnim vazduhom, a u tri ćelije seme je skladišteno bez aktivne ventilacije.
