AB - In recent years many countries direct their researches to finding the best way for getting energy and reasonable using of renewable energy as part of circular economy. In research it was analyzed a significant source of all forms of energy, the Spanish cane. Spanish cane can be used on many ways: as biogas, vegetable coal, and as an alternative source of plant fibers. Its cellulose fiber is used for production of paper as well as in the textile industry (substitute for cotton, flax, and kenaf fibers). The Spanish cane can be established as perennial grass areas at degraded and unused land due to its ability to be cultivated in marginal agro-ecological conditions. By development of new technologies for the biological waste processing into energy, within the circular economy, there is increase in the alternative fuel use and, thanks to its low requirements for water and warmth Spanish cane is a desirable energy crop. Speaking of erosion, it has to be mentioned that Spanish cane is one of the best crops for soil protection against all types of erosion. It is also very good in phytoremediation and absorption of harmful gases from the atmosphere, valued in as an ornamental plant and in the construction industry.

AB - Organic production has a significant impact on human health, animal, food security and environmental sustainability. Pesticide exposures from conventional production may lead to important diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, brains damage, especially in children and certain types of cancer. Epidemiological studies highlight adverse effects of certain pesticides on children’s cognitive development.
Use of pesticides in organic agriculture is restricted. Organic food are abundant with vitamins, antioxidants (vitamin C, polyphenols and flavonoids), minerals and dry matter content. Regular consumption of organic products (fruits and vegetables, dairy products and meat) significant reduces the risk of overweight, of pre eclampsia in pregnancy and allergic disease. Organic meats and dairy products have a higher content of omega-3 fatty acids compared to conventional products and do not contain antibiotics. Due to the reduced amount of pesticide residues and an increased secondary plant metabolites, intake which are found in organic food, there is a reduction in health problems and a positive effect on health.

The paper analyzed the Spanish reed as a significant source of all forms of energy, from biogas, to solid biofuels and vegetable coal, and as an alternative source of plant fibers. The fact that Spanish cane can be cultivated and in marginal agro-ecological conditions provides us with opportunities to establish perennial grass areas on unused and degraded areas.

The great genetic potential of fertility has classified miscanthus in the group of the most important bio-energetic crops. By introducing these predominantly perennial plants into production, with slightly higher investments in the year of establishment and significantly less in the years of use, uncultivated agricultural land could be used and also the most non-agricultural areas and deposoles could be bring to purpose.

AB - The aim of this work was to determine the nitrogen and phosphorus content in arable agricultural land on farms in the Republic of Serbia. The sampling of soils was carried out in 2020 with the recording of GPS coordinates and entering the obtained results into the software platform. The analysis of the nitrogen content (N) was determined by the Kotzman method and calculated from the humus on a sample of 30,957 plots, with an area of 19,629.24 ha. The phosphorus content (P2O5) was determined by extraction, whereby the easily soluble part of the phosphorus was transferred into a solution and colorimetrically determined in the resulting extract, on a sample of 28,944 plots with an area of 18,459.96 ha. The results obtained show that 64.59% of the area, i.e., 12,678.81 ha, had a good nitrogen content (0.2–0.1%). A very high phosphorus content (400.1–500.0 mg kg-1 of the area) was found on 27.68% of the area, which is 5,108.92 ha. On 15.34% of the plots where a harmful value was found, additional analyses should be carried out to determine the cause of such a high phosphorus content in the soil. Based on data on the content of total nitrogen and readily available phosphorus in the soil, the type and amount of fertilizer can be adequately selected, which can lead to a reduction in ecosystem pollution. The results in this study represent the basis for soil management, biodiversity protection and optimal planning of cultivation of arable, vegetable and fruit crops. The obtained results can help agricultural producers and other entities to increase the competitiveness of their production.

AB - Maize (Zea mays L.) is the most important silage crop due to its low buffer
capacity, high amount of dry matter and optimal concentration of soluble
carbohydrates. Silage of maize is a process of anaerobic preservation by lactic
acid fermentation, which reduces the possibility of loss of nutrients from harvest to consumption of animal feed. By silage maize, they try to preserve and maintain for a longer time the nutrients of the maize fresh biomass, without significant changes. In this study, the following maize hybrids were examined: H1- AS 160, H2- Pionir 1535 and H3- NS 6000. The quality of the green biomass of the examined maize hybrids was analyzed: content of protein, content of water and percentage of dry matter. The test results show that the percentage of crude proteins in the examined sample was the highest (2.72%) in hybrid H1, a slightly lower percentage (2.66%) in H2, and the lowest percentage of crude proteins was measured in hybrid H3. The percentage of dry matter in the tested sample was the highest (36.56%) in the NS 640 hybrid, slightly lower (35.05%) in the percentage in the AS 160 hybrid, and the lowest (33.80%) crude protein percentage was measured in the Pionir hybrid 1535. The percentage of moisture in the tested sample was the highest (66.20%) in H2, the slightly lower (64.95%) percentage of moisture was in hybrid H1, and the lowest (63.44%) percentage of moisture was measured in hybrid H3. Different hybrids have different levels of various maize plant components' quality. The results show that the hybrid had a significant impact on the examined quality parameters.

AB - Secondary agricultural products are increasingly becoming interesting as a raw material in many branches of processing. Looking at the possible ways of using secondary agricultural products, it can be concluded that it would be rational every year using of 30-50% of dry harvest residues and residues after primary processing for energy purposes, and 50-70% for other purposes. By industrial processing from straw are separating carbohydrates, proteins, mineral salts and other chemical compounds from straw. The obtained substances are used in the paper industry, packaging, construction materials, alcohol, etc. Aromatic substances of various secondary products are using in cosmetic industry, fragrances and household disinfectants and disinfectants.
AB - Thanks to the grain's high energy and nutritional value, oats are of great
economic importance. The paper analyzed the productivity of oats on fertile
soil, chernozem in a two-year period and in two variants of feeding: control
(variants without feeding) and in the variant with digestate. Oat productivity
parameters were analyzed: number of ears per panicle, grain mass per panicle and compared with grain yield per hectare. The results showed that year and digestate had a statistically significant effect on the number of spikelets per panicle of oats and that higher values of grain weight per panicle were achieved in the digestate variant compared to the control variant. The digestate had a significant effect on the increase in oat productivity parameters and its application in the oat crop is justified.

AB - Oats are of great economic importance thanks to the high nutritional value
of the grain. In this study, the productivity of oats was analyzed in two varieties: control (variants without digestate) and in the variant with digestate, during 2021-2022. The following parameters were tested: plant height, number of grains per panicle, grain yield per hectare and protein content. Highly significant positive correlation coefficients were found between grain yield and number of grains per plants (r=0.68**) and grain yield and plant height (r=0.59*). The results showed that year and digestate had no statistically significant effect on oat grain yield.
The obtained values for grain yield were statistically significantly higher in the
variant with digestate compared to the control variant. The digestate had a
significant effect on the increase of oat yield and yield parameters, therefore its application in the oat crop is recommended.

AB - The herbal drugs prepared with the traditional methods through slow grinding
and mixing processes conserves all the natural substances without losing any
essential component, maintains the activity and purity of the drug, and have
potential medicinal uses. Use of plants as herbal cosmetics is known since
ancient times. In this study, the remains of herbaceous and woody biomass
decorative plants were analyzed because a large number of herbaceous, both
annual and perennial species of decorative plants contain substances that are
important raw materials for cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations. Smaller amounts of herbaceous biomass are used for compost production. The wood biomass of decorative plants can be used as solid fuel or cut, and the obtained boards and laths are used for making various objects. Fruits (seeds), flowers, leaves, stems and roots of decorative plants were also analyzed. Certain plant organs such as boxwood, linden and birch leaves are used for medicinal purposes. These plants can be grown on decorative surfaces in gardens for their own needs and prepared to prepare teas and other medicinal drinks that are used as means to improve the health of people, but also domestic animals and pets. As decorative plants are valued, among others, the Oman, which blooms for a long time forming beautiful yellow inflorescences that are also used as cut flowers.

Regular consumption of organic products (fruits and vegetables, dairy products and meat) significant reduces the risk of overweight, of preeclampsia in pregnancy and allergic disease.

AB - Harvest residues of sunflower, maize, oilseed rape and soybeans make up more than 50% of the total biomass yield and can also be used to obtain bioenergy. As a source of bioenergy, preference is given to harvesting residues that contain more cellulose and oil, such as soybean straw. Soybean breeding aims to create varieties with higher biomass and increased oil yield per hectare, as well as to create varieties that would be more suitable for industrial processing for the production of technical oils. In this study, the productive parameters of soybeans were investigated in two years, 2021 and 2022. The average yields of soybeans varied from 2.8 t ha-1 (2022) to 2.9 t ha-1 (2022). The total soybean biomass yield was 4.8 t ha-1, while the biogas yield was 384.5 m3 ha-1. The year had a significant impact on soybean production. The more favourable year for production was 2021, with significantly higher yields of grain, biomass and biogas, compared to 2022.
